I tried to find where the FRAX+FXB20251231 curve pool was getting FXS rewards from (it's like 23% atm) - can't see it on the FXS Gauges. Does anyone know?

Is there a threshold for issuing assets? Every L2 seems to be wrapping up new assets how do we keep competing?
Читать полностью…But don’t quote me on the resupply side, that’s for their team to confirm. I can only confirm frxUSD
Читать полностью…I think you’re misunderstanding that frax isn’t “trying to do everything.” It’s a decentralized central bank. Its issued currency is the most important thing, not creating products to compete with everyone everywhere. The products are only useful in so far as it helps expand the currency supply of different frax assets. Not in and of itself something Frax cares about. The Fed/treasury don’t run a bond trading exchange like Goldman Sachs does. They simply sell their bonds through different exchanges in the private sector. They do have treasurydirect.gov for selling bonds but they don’t try to take market share from Goldman Sachs. Some people that don’t understand how everything works might think “the Fed/treasury are trying to do everything and suck at it, the treasurydirect.org site UI is jank compared to my Goldman app. They need a better marketing department and promote their trading site!”
But they couldn’t be more wrong.
That just makes it difficult to write about FRAX(v1 Stable) while also talking about FRAX(Fraxtal Sovereign Token) in the same post
Читать полностью…Is this too passive? It all seems to depend on whether aave wants or doesn't want to post frax assets as collateral
Читать полностью…I like how you keep saying that ... "current stablecoin" 😁
Leave it to Frax to say "we have the best... that means WE have to make it better" 🫡
All feedback is welcome, most especially anything negative.
I haven't posted anything meaningful publicly in a long time...
I waited too long to delay much further, so I wanted to get it out there ASAP.
So. Any comment that helps me grow, expand, correct, and or refine my craft and/or words is happily received.
Thank you for your time
We definitely can if more people in the community join and help! Feel free to get to work to help out. Everything is open and decentralized sir.
Читать полностью…What do you think we’re doing with the new frxUSD upgrade, Blackrock+Superstate custodians, FXS upgrades, chain tech releases in Q1? Things are about to be very different and exciting in a matter of days.
Читать полностью…So we should educate them about what Frax’s intentions are so they don’t mistakenly attribute the wrong intentions to us. Not everyone understands a central bank is a currency issuer. It’s the only thing it cares about. A commercial bank is a “product seller.” Frax is the former.
Читать полностью…Regarding the same issue of frxbtc, if aave is not willing, we cannot launch it, and other packaged assets will follow in the same way. But can this be used as fraxlend's proprietary collateral to expand TVL?
Читать полностью…Since in my current and future posts I will be referring to present day FRAX as frxUSD to avoid confusion...
Would it be sufficient to call it frxUSD v1? ... or do you foresee less friction if if just say something akin to FRAX(current v1 stable) everytime til frxUSD launches
Obviously each stablecoin project has their own targets. Some projects say “soft pegged” meaning I doubt they consider just 1% being off as broken peg. But that’s not us obviously
Читать полностью…I think general market principle is 1% either side which is the commonly accepted definition. But as long as it’s redeemable from custodians, I don’t see why it would ever get near that edge.
Читать полностью…USDC also trades on DEX for above and below 1$. FRAX is always historically less volatile, hence "peg has never broke".
What percentage of price change would have to happen for us to no longer be able to say that?
