Blockspace is not fungible and Fraxtal as a soon-to-be L1 is not superchain interoperable.
But the answer to your question is "yes, sort of." Because all Frax assets like frxUSD, FXS, etc can move to/from Fraxtal and Base in seconds.

I am going to use a very poor way of describing my question since I don’t know another way to ask this: will the new fraxtal be backwards compatible with the OP stack?

I just started Economics & Math of Token Engineering and DeFi by Lisa Tan. So far I'm enjoying it; it focuses on system design so it still seems relevant even though it's a few years old.
I'm also reading Mastering Blockchain by Imran Bashir. It's getting outdated a bit faster, but covers a lot of fundamentals like cryptography and Merkel trees so I'm still finding it educational.
anyone know if the only option for BAL on Fraxtal is still to 7 day bridge back to mainnet?

Hello ser. You can go to frax.com and input the contract into the website there (in the swap module, it will give you a option to bridge). If it says 7 days, that is most likely the only viable option. You can also explore third-party bridges and check if there is any alternatives.

You didn’t ask me but I want to answer 😂 Blockchain moves so fast, it is hard to read books about it imo. There is a ton of good books on economics, but would rather listen to podcasts for blockchain info as the landscape changes every 3-6 months. I personally like a lot of the Bankless content, they get a lot of shit, but they have some good guests that bridge the gap between tradfi and DeFi and gives you a perspective on where the real usecases will be. New one with the Robinhood guy for example. Quite interesting with a lot of their crypto episodes. They also have a lot of meh content though. Especially toward AI as that industry is still super young.
