think usdc is just trying to get a license and recognition and can continue to get the endorsement of the US government, and then other countries will accept by default, and then there will be a greater incentive-free TVL, without having to give the vast majority of profits to cex distributors like coinbase and Binance to try to get out of this situation. For usdc, the valuation of the IPO is not important, and obtaining the license and endorsement is the long-term winner

Whatever happens with these tariffs, the only silver lining is Frax is able to make the best of it whichever way it goes:

1) If they're bad and inflation rises and Fed increases rates, frxUSD benefits from flight to safety+high tbill rates. Good for stablecoin issuers.
2) If they work properly and onshores production, Fed lowers rates, risk assets rise, great for crypto & FXS.
