Falling asleep heartbroken or hurt is easily one of the most sad things. Your sitting in bed alone....thinking in your head everything you have done, didn't do. What could have you done different, etc. And you can't do anything about it at all but you overthink things. You are just sitting there in your bed without anybody to talk to thinking all these terrible thoughts wanting one person you need to cheer you up, not there. I just want you to know it's okay if you let the stars carry the weight of your worries for a while. You don't need someone who could stand with you. You can stand on your own. When you can't sleep, make a cup of tea for yourself. Whisper all your uncertainties out into the universe. Try to find the moon and stars that guard the night sky. Grab a pen and write all the things you wish you could say. Maybe one day you will show them the words you wrote but for now, it's out in in the world and that's all that matter. Treat yourself the way you want to be treated. When your hand starts to cramp, stop writing. When you start shiver, step back inside. When you crawl back in bed and try to sleep. I hope you feel a little lighter.

This morning I woke up and I just reminded myself that self love is the most important thing. To work on yourself is the best thing you can do. Because when you are all alone and it's 3 in the morning and you are lying on the floor crying and shaking and wishing it all would end. Who's going to be there for you ? You. You have to pick yourself up and Find the strength to carry on. Accept that you are not perfect, but you are enough. And start working on everything that destroys you. Most of my life has been spent trying to shrink myself. Trying to became smaller, quieter, less sensetive, less needy, less me. Because I didn't want to be burden. I didn't want to push away people. I wanted people to loved me. I wanted to be cared for and valued. I wanted to be wanted. So for years, I sacrificed myself for the sake of making other people happy. And for years, I suffered. But now I am done shrinking. It's not my job to change who I am in order to become someone else's idea for a worthwhile human being. I am worthwhile. My soul is so beautiful, my mind is powerful, my heart is made of gold. My thoughts matter, my voice matter. And with or without anyone's permission or approval, I will continue to be who I am and speak my truth. Even if it makes them uncomfortable. Even if they choose to leave. I have no desire to fit in. No plans to walk with the crowd. I have my own mind, soul and heart. I am me and it has taken me years to realize how important that is. I choose to give myself permission to get my needs. I choose me. Trust yourself, you're survived a lot and you'll survive whatever is coming. You are stronger than you think.
