📌Chemical equilibrium:- occurs when macroscopic properties (temperature 🌡️, pressure ⚖️, volume 📏, and concentration ⚗️) remain unchanged over time. In a closed system 🔒, both the forward and reverse reactions continue dynamically, but at equilibrium, their rates become equal ➡️⬅️, leading to no net change in concentration.
For a general reversible reaction:

Rate of forward reaction 🔄:

Rate of reverse reaction 🔄:

At equilibrium, rf = rb, leading to the equilibrium constant expression:
