Remember that AI that Microsoft was trying to sneak onto your computer that will screenshot and analyze everything? Well, it's not optional, bchz! 😅
Early this morning, Microsoft confirmed in a statement to The Verge that last week’s Windows 11 24H2 update, KB5041865, had not added the ability to uninstall Recall in the “Turn Windows features on or off” dialog and that its addition to that menu was a bug that will soon be fixed. It should be noted that this bugged option to uninstall Recall was also added before Recall itself, so it had no actual functionality besides (seemingly) being a way to opt out ahead of time. Once shipped, Recall will also be something Windows users can disable but not entirely remove.
Because you don't own your computer, it owns you 😉

Eventually I replaced four crappy old fans surrounding my PC case with three Arctic P12 PWM (1800 RPM) to blow air in and one P12 MAX (3300 RPM) for the back side to blow out the air.
The last one is intentionally set to only reach 100% of speed at 100C, which never happens, so it usually works at 70-80% at worst moments and still do the job perfectly.
Now it's both quieter than before and much cooler. Even Deadlock and summer heat can't overheat it anymore.

Free and customizable UV mapping texture made in Blender and shared under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License.
The texture has soft gradient which makes working with it easier for your eyes even for hours in a row. I've tried to balance out the amount of color on the final image to preserve visibility of geometry details and issues that can be missed on pure gray or too vivid UV textures.
Since I'm using it for real-world structures, it has extended 10×10 marked cells (instead of 8×8), and also .5 and .1 lines to allow size-perfect texturing. The 8×8 version is also available in the repository.
The Blender 4.2 file is also attached, so you can modify it for your needs or render in any resolution (if 4K is not enough).

I truly hate that the majority of UV-grid textures (to prepare models for seamless texturing) are 8x8, while I need 10x10.
Made this one with soft gradient, feel free to use (will be later provided as HQ file with free license). I'll add numbers and stuff later on.
Soft gradient is times better for long work on the model and will make it easier for your eyes.

It's very common and people managed to sneak viruses into both Google Play and Apple Store, but don't think that Steam is safe.
The complexity and closed nature of many PC games gives the Valve security team a very limited overview of what games are capable of. They run testing for days and you can simply make a timer that will only release malware in a month.

Initial sales of Star Wars Outlaws were significantly lower than Jedi Survivor and only slightly better than Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.
Investors expected way more from a well-known franchise and Ubisoft market cap fell under 2 billion.
🤔 What's the problem?
The game brings nothing new to the table nor anything "good old" as a fan service product — it's exceptionally bland and safe up to the point where it's barely a Star Wars game.

Jyamma Games said that their action #RPG Enotria will not be available on XBox in time. Fans decided that it's hard to optimize the game for series s, but nope: their account manager just left their replies unanswered for months.
It's not the first report of that type and Phil Spencer should do something about it... Several studios discussed similar stories — Sony gave them all the support they can imagine and Microsoft just barely replies at all.

I'm truly sad about Dustborn failure, about what it have become eventually. Because I praised Ragnar and his games for over 20 years.
Ragnar Tornquist: he created The Longest Journey while he was in Funcom. And when they gave up on single player games he founded Red Thread Games, he completed the Dreamfall story. Our once young and naive Zoe completed her longest journey.
Dude opposed the corporation wanted him to make MMO games while he dreamed of new and personal stories.
Draugen was short but memorable. Very sharp twist in the end but hey — I still remember it five years later.

Surprisingly, SW Outlaws is a stealth game that just doesn't make sense:
There is only ONE WEAPON, your skills and traits are often useless for stealth (that is forced in many missions), and it feels like a $30 AA game at best.
