Prior to this series, Mundy worked on Ozark and True Detective: Night Country. That's fitting because the tone of Lanterns has been compared to True Detective by Gunn and Safran.The Green Lantern Corps are the protectors of the DC Universe, and their will power allows them to create almost anything they can think of through their rings. That included many prominent streamers, who struggled to adapt to all the new changes in Chapter 5 Season 3 that were at odds with normal build-mode playstyles.Reload feels like Epic's constructed-as-quickly-as-possible response to the poor season launch. And while I'd love to be annoyed that it seemingly hacked something together so quickly to appease streamers, Fortnite Reload is so much fun, and such a dramatic change of pace from Fortnite norms, that I'm pretty sure I'm in love. But one character in particular is stealing the show: Frodo, a domestic housecat who gets caught up in the conflict between humans and the alien monstrosities that have overtaken Earth.In one scene, Frodo can be seen accidentally bumping a small bell with his tail as his adoptive owner Samira (Lupita Nyong'o) and Samira's friend Eric (Joseph Quinn) look on in horror, desperately trying not to make a sound. But cat-loving horror fans need not worry (yet, anyway). At the trailer's conclusion, Eric can be seen running for his life--with an enormous alien chasing him--while tightly holding onto Frodo. Just when all seems lost, Eric jumps off the edge of a broken bridge and plunges into the water below. We don't see what happens after that, but the trailer suggests that both Eric and Frodo survive (in that particular scene, at least).
