Job Opportunity: Contract React Native / Expo Developer

Description
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled React Native / Expo developer with a proven track record of building and delivering mobile applications. This role is project-based and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment and has a strong portfolio to showcase previous work. If you live and breathe clean code, mobile UI/UX, and React Native best practices, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications using React Native & Expo
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to bring app concepts to life
- Optimize performance across both iOS and Android platforms
- Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing applications
- Maintain documentation and participate in code reviews

Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience in React Native / Expo
- Strong portfolio showcasing published apps (especially on App Store / Google Play)
- Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil)
- Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile apps and app store deployments
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and great at problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Bonus points if you’ve worked with:
- Native modules (Objective-C, Java/Kotlin)
- Firebase, GraphQL, or real-time data handling
- OTA updates with Expo EAS
