The starting price of the domain depends on the number of characters. The more characters, the fewer TON:

c. 5 — 5 TON
d. 4 — 10 TON
e. 3 — 100 TON
f. 2 — 1000 TON
3. Start the auction. Initially, auctions last for 7 days, but by January 19, the duration will be reduced varying from 1h to 48 hours, depending on domain length. Keep an eye on your domain; someone might place a bid!

We once mentioned that a new, "compressed" NFT format (cNFT) is emerging in TON. Its unique feature is the ability to release a collection of thousands of items for just a fraction of a price. And it finally happened!
Pearls by Gems, in collaboration with the creators of Lost Dogs, dropped a free collection of cards hinting at a mysterious venture to the past: postcards, letters, stamps, ruins, and other echoes of mysterious destructive consequences, — all with different rarity and value.
What’s the result?
☝️ Minting 16K cNFTs for just 1.5 $TON. Usually, the release of 16,000 NFTs collection costs about 800 $TON, equivalent to roughly $2,000. In the case of cNFT, the cost was just $3. In other words, this is a re-vo-lu-tion!
✌️ A total of 16,191 cNFT pearls were dropped into the wallets of those who managed to link them in time to the Pearl bot.
🫰 The most expensive NFT so far was sold for 45 $TON. It's more than 100% upside! From 0 to 45 $TON on cNFT.

😼 How to see cNFT?
TonTech has proposed a new standard: Compressed NFTs. The groundbreaking quality of this standard is that it allows creating collections of 100 000s or 1 million NFTs, at the cost of minting a single piece.
To make it easier: the blockchain records not each NFT separately, but only a "proof" that this specific NFT truly exists, has an owner, and belongs to a specific collection.
Compressed NFT (cNFT) is a standard that enables the creation of large collections, up to a billion items, without consuming a significant amount of time and coins for minting.
For instance, we are using this standard in our game Egg Fight Club. Our goal is to attract hundreds of thousands of players and distribute millions of NFT eggs.
If we were to distribute regular NFTs, it would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. But with cNFTs, we only need ten. Players will still be able to trade and sell their eggs.
cNFTs can be listed for sale or sent to a friend. By doing so, they become regular NFTs.
We have already supported the new cNFT standard on Getgems, initiated several projects based on it, and are assisting others in adopting it!

This is a brave new crypto-world, and we're living in it. And the beautiful path to the digital world on TON is paved with a convenient and beautiful link.
Getgems Domains are full-fledged NFTs, use them as you wish: link them to your profile or collection, stand out with a beautiful unique address among long strings of characters, collect, or trade.
What happened to the auction timelines?
They changed along the way. Why? That was the initial plan. We started with 7 days, to let everyone jump onboard and grasp the idea, and then the deadlines started to shrink.
Now, this is how it works:
1. Choose a name that will identify you in NFT on TON.
2. Place a bid.
3. Start the auction. Wait from 1 hour to 48 hours.
4. Claim your getgems.io/name if no one has outbid your bid.
If you missed snagging a hot domain from the auction, you can get it later from the one whose irresistible desire to take that domain prevailed.
How to find domains you've placed a bid on?
Add them to your "favorites" by clicking on the like button, to not lose the NFT. Notifications about outbids come to Tonkeeper, and they will appear on the website later, along with the activity history. Otherwise, your bid might be outbid, and that would be a bummer.

Welcome to the home of NFTs on TON! Follow the instructions below on how to complete the task of creating a Getgems domain.
Getgems Domains are custom addresses for your NFT collections and personal profiles on Getgems.io NFT marketplace.
Follow these steps:
1. First, figure out which wallet would you like to use to connect to the site. It is crucial to use the same wallet when connecting in Getgems x Notcoin tasks and later when creating the domain. The wallet connected to the community bot should be the same one used for creating the domain.
2. Visit Getgems.io, click the Connect button in the top right corner, and authenticate using the chosen wallet.
3. Then go to the Getgems domain collection.
4. Click "Create Domain".
5. Enter the name. The starting price depends on the number of characters. The more the characters, the less TON will be needed to start the auction.
6. Click "Start Auction". Remember, the minimum balance should be 0.8 TON (0.5 TON for the cheapest domain + 0.3 TON to initiate the transaction, most of this second amount will be refunded to your wallet).
7. Wait for the auction to end. Current auctions last from 1 hour to 48 hours, depending on the length of the domain.
8. Return to the Notcoin task bot and confirm ownership of the domain.
⚽ There could be a delay in confirming the task, due to high volume of participant. Please be patient.

What a year! A lot has happened here on Getgems; time flashed, and we figured #yearly_digest is inevitable. Let's take a last look at everything we've accomplished in 2023 before turning the page. Let's sum it up!

We stood guard over the convenience of using our marketplace and added a bunch of new features: minting videos, linking TON DNS, subscription to notifications, activity history, and hiding NFTs. We also worked tirelessly on improving existing features, such as non-cancellable auctions and putting NFTs for sale.
We celebrated our first birthday and put our minds together to come up with a mascot, this is how Gemmy came into existence, then had more fun picking Halloween costumes for him.
We created educational materials and discussed important topics—CC0 and royalties for artists.
Getgems was added to Magic.Store, NFTscan, and had a review on OpenRating.
Together, we witnessed the integration of TON into Telegram, NFTs appearing in @wallet, and watched the blockchain's history unfold when the blackout occurred.

Major news! The @Wallet team has rolled out an exciting update: you can now buy and sell NFTs directly within Telegram using TON Space.
How to do it:
1. Log in to TON Space with the wallet address that holds your NFT.
2. Ensure your digital collectible is listed for sale on the Getgems NFT marketplace.
3. Then, navigate to the "Collectibles" tab in TON Space and copy your NFT's link.
4. Send the copied link to another user, and they will see this NFT inside Wallet with the "Buy" button.
5. Voilà! Now they can purchase your digital collectible in just a few taps.
To connect TON Space, activate it in the Wallet's "Settings" and follow the on-screen prompts.
