New T17 essence abuse
If mob's hp more than 2bil - his hp lowers to 1hp. He will be dead from 1 hit.
Just stack essences on mob, replace all packs with meatsacks, add some essence scarabs (of adaptation, calcification), add torment scarab (new with chance to rare mobs will have tormented spirit), and roll more life on map
PARTY's mob hp buff also works
Can also pick atlas node with more life to mobs and add Horned scarab of nemeses to stack mob's mods.

Blight Scarab of Invigoration - But why?

Hear me out, i'm amongst the few people who actually enjoy Blight and i am a huge fan of the new scarab system, but! With these new blight scarabs, blighted maps are basically dead. There is absolutely no point in running Blighted or Ravaged maps over a normal map with a Blight-Focused Atlas and Blight Scarabs.
Blight is the only mechanic that doesn't win from Scarabs, please let us use Blighted Scarabs on Blighted maps. It blkows my mind that that isn't the case. And yes, we can anoint Blighted maps, but that's not enough. A normal map with blighted scarabs is is SO MUCH better than a blighed map.
Honestly, it just hurts that my favorite mechanic is basically dead, i have about 200 Blighted and Raveged maps in my stash and there is no point in running them... I'm upset, GGG, please re-think Blight.

Anybody else on Steam unable to log in?
Issue solved: Steam is under maintenance right now so it can't update the game.
Ever since the patch that just dropped, Steam is not able to update to 3.24.2.
When I launch PoE, Steam updates the game but it still launches in 3.24.1, as you can see in the bottom right corner of the Log In screen.
Anybody else having the same?
EDIT: They updated the 3.42.2 patch post with:
"Edit: There's Steam maintenance going on so the update isn't available yet, should be there shortly."

I made 10,000+ Essences in 100 maps with the crystal resonance atlas node - strat/tips in post

I ran 100 8 mod maps with the essence craft and 1x calcification scarab - 1x ascent essence scarab - 2x scarab of adversaries, when combined with calcification scarab these give 16 essence mobs per map instead of 4 that two regular essence scarabs would get you
I ran it with Alva, which has since been nerfed and doesnt work anymore - HOWEVER, beasts still work and in the 5 maps i did with beasts i still got 100+ essences in every single map and my map times were on average 2 minutes quicker. If anything, beasts are just better for currency/h
The crystal resonance node adds one essence to the boss for each essence mob youve killed, which is obviously insanely rippy and makes the boss incredibly tanky - however theres 3 ways to counter this, one that i actually found out after making my video
Strat 1 - run a map with a boss nearby, rush the boss and get him down to culling range. Then clear all of the essences and come back and cull the boss
Strat 2 - run a map with multiple bosses so the essences disperse across multiple bosses and they dont stack on a single boss making it unkillable. This is what i did
Strat 3, and something i only found out after the video, you can run this on the Volcano map since the Volcano boss is a totem that does not attack. I wouldve done this if i knew/thought about it
Money made was 135 divines pre harvest flip with a 40 divine investment, so 95 divines profit total - and then 190 divines post harvest flip with a 65 divines investment, so a 125 divine profit total. Even with the crashed essence economy harvest flipping is still crazy
Edit: something i forgot to add, there are reports that beasts just replace regular rares when calcified so it doesnt really do anything, regardless i thought id add in beasts just incase thats wrong but also the loot here isnt misrepresented whether beasts work of they dont - i ran 10 beast maps a bit ago and still got over 1000 essences

GGG, could you give Beastiary the Necropolis treatment please?
GGG introduced coffin management in 3.24. You can take out corpses with a push of a button. (Magic!)
Could you please also give Beastiary the same featues?
**Current problems**:
* Beastiary Orbs are outdated. Having to buy them for 1c each just to itemize a beast is out-of-date.
* You can't easily differentiate between Yellow and Red beasts and they are sorted seemingly randomly.
* Itemizing beasts is tedious, requires pre-work. If you want to itemize Yellows, you have to take out / release red beasts first. Even after that, it's 3 clicks per beast with a lot of mouse movement.
* Hard to count how many beasts you currently have captured given the beast limit.
**Suggestions**:
* Remove Beastiary Orb from the game and let us itemize beasts the same way it works for Coffins.
* Add a button for each beast in the Menagerie tab that itemizes them. Firstly it puts it into inventory, then drops on the ground the itemized Orbs. (If you don't want to remove Beastiary Orbs, please let us itemize beasts the same way as long as we have a Beastiary Orb in our inventory.)
* Let us Shift + Left click on release without the confirmation window.
* Let us filter Red and Yellow beasts in Menagerie tab.
* Let us easily check how many total beasts we currently have in the menagerie.

Easily 6 link items under 20c
This has been known for a long while this league, but just in case as a reminder, you can 6 link items super cheaply and easily using beast. You just need 2 special beast, and any rare beast you'd usually have got if you helped einhar at all
The black morrigan (13c)
and Craicic sand spitter (6-7c)
get those, right click them in the managerie to add them to your list, and fully link any item you want (that's not corrupted I think).
The only reason I'm refreshing your memory is because I checked out the omen of connections and its a complete rip off at 160+c for essentially the same thing. unless the omen can work on corrupted items which by the wording I assume not, its a robbery if you buy them (except you're getting robbed).
# tdlr, don't waste fusings or buy omens to 6 link, just use beast and save $$$
