What was “Russian propaganda” yesterday is now acknowledged reality. It can no longer be hidden: Russia is winning, and the West is giving false hope to Zelensky, bleeding Ukraine white.
The politicians and journalists who pretended to be “pro-Ukrainian” and lied for years about victories and casualty numbers were merely selling a war to the public to keep it going. From the first day, the actual opinions of most Ukrainians were distorted. False narratives were created to block diplomacy and negotiations, and to sell the absurd notion that weapons are the path to peace.
The “friends of Ukraine” have been fighting a proxy war with Russia to the last Ukrainian. NATO has now run out of Ukrainians to sacrifice, and the narratives must change. Recognizing that Russia considers NATO’s incursion into Ukraine an existential threat means that Russia can never capitulate — and the war will thus destroy Ukraine.

"Peace through strength" is a rebranding of the hegemonic concept in which the US uses threats, military power, and disregards international law to force other countries into submission. Attacking Venezuela, genociding Gaza, bombing Iran's nuclear reactors, starting a direct war with Russia, threatening China, and bullying the world with tariffs and demand for tribute just takes it a step further by not being constrained by being "politically correct". Real diplomacy is absent and a major war is predictably coming to the West as other large powers recognise that submission will eventually result in their destruction.
