- This path to irrelevance was predictable as the Europeans made themselves frontline states in a redivided Europe, accepted to reduce ties with other centres of power, and became excessively dependent and subservient to the US
- Many people warned against this path, yet they were silenced with accusations of being "pro-China", "pro-Russian" etc. When Biden destroyed Europe's energy infrastructure and cannibalised European industries, the first impulse in Europe was to cover for Washington and blame Russia.
