Indian Army conducted a Tri-Service Integrated Multi-Domain Warfare Exercise 'Prachand Prahaar' in the Eastern Theatre, deep in the high-altitude terrain of Arunachal Pradesh from March 25 to 27, 2025. Cutting-edge platforms such as long-range maritime reconnaissance aircraft, armed helicopters, UAVs, loitering munitions, and space-based assets showcased seamless integration of advanced surveillance, strike capabilities & multi-domain operational planning during the exercise.
Once simulated targets were identified, they were swiftly neutralised through coordinated strikes using fighter aircraft, long-range rocket systems, medium artillery, swarm drones, kamikaze drones, and armed helicopters - all executed in an electronically-contested environment that simulated modern battlefield conditions. 🫡 🇮🇳
Indian Army's Eastern Command conducted a high-altitude exercise at 17,000 feet in North Sikkim, where Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) and mortar detachments from Infantry & Mechanised Infantry units showcased their precision & operational readiness.

Operation Brahma | Indian Naval Ships Satpura and Savitri, from the Eastern Naval Command, have sailed for Yangon in quake-hit Myanmar, as part of the Indian Navy's immediate response towards Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR). INS Karmuk and LCU 52 from the Andaman and Nicobar Command have also been deployed.
Approx. 52 tons of relief material have been embarked onboard these ships, including HADR pallets consisting of essential clothing, drinking water, food, medicines, and emergency stores. 🇮🇳

In another big boost to Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Ministry of Defence today signed a contract with Armoured Vehicle Nigam Limited for the procurement of Nag Missile System (NAMIS) Tracked version of anti-tank weapon platform and Force Motors Ltd & Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd for around 5,000 Light Vehicles for the Armed Forces at a total cost of around Rs 2,500 crore.
NAMIS(Tr) weapon system, developed by DRDO, will enhance Indian Army’s operational readiness across a varied spectrum of operations. The modern Light Vehicles will provide mobility to the Armed Forces in all types of terrain and operational conditions. 🇮🇳
On 26 Mar 25, based on specific input, a Joint Search Operation was launched by Indian Army and JK Police in general area Namblan Forest, Baramulla.
During the search, a hideout was busted, which resulted in recovery of 01xPressure IED, 02xHand Grenades, AK magazines, ammunition and other war like stores.
Further Investigation is in progress.
On March 25, GE Aerospace delivered the first of 99 F404-IN20 engines to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft Mk 1A, marking a milestone in their 40-year partnership.
The F404-IN20, selected in 2004 for the single-engine Tejas, is the highest-thrust variant in the F404 family, featuring a higher-flow fan and single-crystal turbine blades.
GE previously supplied 65 engines by 2016, after which production halted until HAL ordered 99 more in 2021.
Restarting the dormant production line, inactive for five years, began during the COVID-19 pandemic, with GE now ramping up output to meet the new demand while maintaining safety and quality standards.
