So according to the sentence..
Telomerase is generally absent from the adult but it's present in bone marrow and Cancer

Now If telomerase is present in bone marrow then you can't say it's because of bone marrow cancer
as telomerase can be present in bone marrow because of actively dividing cells too

Therefore presence of telemorase in bone marrow is no indication of cancer because both contains the same enzyme

Does the sentence intends to say that other chapters of the textbook are accurate but one particular chapter i.e chapter on genetics is surprising(ly tentative)? If yes, then shouldn’t the verb “is” refer to chapter and not the whole textbook?

I thought parallelism is wrong but it actually seems correct
Determined is modifier and so is cemented
rest both are prepositional phrase

2. And in option C
Can we say "the subject of lively debate" is misplaced as it is modifying childhood?
