Metapolitans – Project Overview Post 🔹

We hosted Metapolitans for an AMA recently and we know hundreds of you tuned in.

as this is not a review post. The AMA itself is also available on YouTube to listen back to.

So they have their 150 ETH presale upcoming on Pinksale on tomorrow at 6 PM UTC. There was a private sale of 50 ETH that will receive 12.5% of total supply. It is also worth noting that they are Certik audited which will likely catch the eye of many.

The project itself aims to deliver a real play to earn/mint metaverse experience. It is worth noting that the metaverse will be available for beta testing at launch, alongside staking and DAO being live. The to earn/mint function, however, will be in alpha and not fully functional. It sounds like the team will be targeting non crypto infekucners such as streamers in a bid to drive up player base.

They have seemingly looked at what is wrong with P2E currently, in terms of it being slightly pyramid in terms of money flow, and also looked at issues around sustainability. They feel their model will alleviate some issues seen in current P2E games, allowing for a longer term, and more sustainable model.

What will please some perhaps is the 6% tax which will atleast alleviate some concerns we have seen in prior similar projects that opt for a 0% tax model. On the flipside, recent trend has been for lower tax so this may prove to be a stumbling block for some potential investors.

We have covered many projects that have previously attempted to deliver not only a metaverse but a sustainable to-earn model and, as of writing, have not quite achieved it. We are curious to see how Metapolitan fares in their quest to achieve this and deliver a project that can prosper in the medium-long term.

Overall, the team come to the sale having worked on the project development for a long time, which is evidenced by the metaverse being in beta stage.

As mentioned earlier there is likely plenty of time to do your own due diligence and perhaps even monitor how the raise progresses before making any investment decision.

Project overview - DehedgeFund

We hosted DehedgeFund on Wednesday and hundreds tuned in to find out about their vision. We recommend catching up on the autoposy to see the sentiment of the Grotto - /channel/goLLumsgems/3264

To summarise, the team wants to create a space for investors to get returns on their investments through what is essentially a decentralised hedgefund. With this in mind, you can see where the name derives from.

The project is cross chain alongside supporting the EVM chains. The team spoke about wanting realistic and sustainable APR which will develop alongside the treasury backing. NFTs for the project hold some utility such as offering DAO rights, revenue shares and opportunities to win vacations. SharkRace – Project Overview Post

We hosted SharkRace for an AMA the other day and we know hundreds of you tuned in.

So they have a whitelist presale upcoming on Pinksale on 26th. It'll be interesting to see how they fare with a combination of an almost $500k hardcap, 96% of total supply unlocked for other sales etc and vesting on the presale itself for investors.

To summarise, SharkRace aims to provide a real P2E experience with customizable NFTs for users. They have seemingly looked at what is wrong with P2E currently, in terms of it being slightly pyramid in terms of money flow, and also looked at issues around sustainability. They feel their model will alleviate some issues seen in current P2E games, allowing for a longer term, and more sustainable model.

The NFT collection itself not only emphasises the play to earn aspect but also collect to earn, which again the team hope will help make the project more sustainable.

The native token, which is subject of the upcoming presale, will be used in the ecosystem to purchase NFTs, purchase upgrades and customisation, staking and as a reward for the ‘to-earn’ element of playing  the game.

We have covered many projects that have previously attempted to address the existent issues in the P2E genre and, as of writing, have not quite achieved it. We are curious to see how SharkRace’s sustainability model performs once launched and if they can indeed, deliver a P2E project that can prosper in the long run.

In terms of sales, there are multiple to come, and they sold out $20k on Perigon today. It is worth baring that in mind.

Overall, the project is pretty indepth, with a healthy 6 figure marketing budget to market these raises, backed by VC funds and a doxed team. There is still plenty of time to do your own due diligence ahead of their presale on Pinksale.

VNetwork – Project Overview Post

We hosted VNetwork for an AMA the yesterday and we know hundreds of you tuned in.

So they have their presale upcoming on their own platform on the 23rd April and will have a hardcap of 150 BNB. This will be used to fund the LP for the launch.

To summarise, VNetwork aims to be the flagship product of the Vanity Ecosystem. They will provide DeFi tools including a locker, launchpad and dex, all of which will be live and are built in-house. Feedback from the AMA saw a few musing whether the space needed another launchpad and whether they could compete in such a contested industry. The team believe their USP is the quality of contracts, using well known dev Sir Tris. They also have reworked conventional percentages for presales and will insist on 70%+ of funds raised going to LP etc.

What is commendable is the approach of a low hardcap which we imagine anyone interested will appreciate, especially in a climate where teams are often unrealistic at best, and greedy at worst. What may hinder them slightly is going for such a high tax of 10/10% in a time where the meta is low tax.

It is quite a vast project so checking out the whitepaper, relistening to the AMA, reading the autopsy thread will likely all aid in your due diligence process.

The team have been working on this for a while and their passion comes through in just how much effort they are putting into all aspects of it.

Leo – Project Overview Post 🔸

So they had their 72 BNB presale on Presale World platform a few says ago and sold out very quickly. Credit where it is due for not overshooting on the cap and potentially preserving some buying pressure for launch. They are scheduled to launch tomorrow.

For those familiar, this is a relaunch and rebranding of Alcazar on ETH that had a really solid run up a few months ago. With that in mind, it is important to note that 50% of total supply is being airdropped to existent holders.

The project is based around a raffle/gambling platform. They have a dapp that facilitates this and they have given away plenty of luxury items and other prizes through their competitions. The changing of chains to BSC from ETH is a savvy one perhaps given ETH gas prices can sometimes be the same cost as a ticket which is obviously going to be off-putting to some potential entrants. This move will take away this issue and potentially, if sentiment and marketing is right, sell a higher volume of tickets.

Other notable aspects if they're awaiting the release of their Hacken audit and the tax will be 0%, which is definitely in line with the current meta.

Overall, the team come to thejr relaunch with a proof of product and existent demand for it backed by an experienced team. It remains to be seen if the rebrand and relaunch will turn around though what was a chart on the downtrend prior to this decision.

Edit: Rubbish team, seemed hype so put out key info for people to look into and do their own due diligence. We also rejected offer of token allocation seems others took which we never would. Seems these hyped fairlaunches are at risk of being tax farms.

Seems many were waiting for tax decrease and lock + renounce which by time came it looked unappealing and off. Pays to be patient.

We quizzed the team why they feel they are different and why people would use their product in the AMA so it's worth reading.

The NFTs, which are $100 to purchase, have their own utility and serve as a stake booster that increases APR. In addition, holding one offers 5% bonus tokens for anyone participating in the presale. The team plans to create future utilities as the project progresses.

Olefy – Project Overview Post

We hosted Olefy for an AMA last week

They received mixed feedback on the autopsy thread from the community so we recommend giving it a read: as this is not a review post.

The main confusion came from people not fully understanding the project so we will try to briefly explain it. We believe this was due to language barriers causing communication issues.

The devs have created an online football management game which uses NFT player cards to build soccer teams. The devs have created an online tutorial which helps users with navigating the interface alongside providing in game instructions.

To summarise, you need a minimum of $22 of tokens to play. The game is about managing a soccer team, trying to win matches in order to rise to the top of the league table. It's possible to upgrade stadiums within the game. There are PvP options alongsode monthly leaderboards.

To be honest, the information wasn't that accessible and we had to do some digging to really understand the concept here. The team have acknowledged the criticism in the autoposy and are going to try and make the game more user friendly to attract investors. It will be interesting to see if they can retain players to sustain the chart and ecosystem. There is staking available which, like with many projects, will only be viable with a sustained interest in the project.
