So we have been tracking Metagin since its V1 launch and thought it would be well worth delving into the project ahead of its presale fairlaunch beginning today.

First of all, what will likely please many reading this is the fact that it is backed by a legally registered business which sells and distributes gin.

We contacted the team for some figures on production and distribution and were given the following information:

‘The first production cycle has seen 800 bottles produced, 6 suppliers secured and 40 bars to distribute to. The next production starts with 2000 bottles. Metagin will be present in all the best stands of beverage fairs in Italy and Europe, and on the best online beverage sales portals.’

The plans to bridge the token to the real-world utility seems to be that there will be essentially dividends provided to holders of 400k tokens or more, we wonder if the more tokens you hold will equate to higher dividends or if it is a flat share for any holders of 400k tokens or more.

So as we said, we have tracked this project since its V1 launch and, given it is a V2, there will be roughly 57% of the total supply being airdropped to old holders. This is something to note and obviously may potentially be cause for concern for some but they are , at least, locked for the first 24 hours.

Definitely think the project website could do with some upgrading as it on arguably on par with some websites seen from BSC meme stealthed projects. Hopefully the team use some of those funds from presale to upgrade it as first impressions are everything. In saying that, the actual shop site for the gin is more professional and clean looking, we will link both at the bottom.

It seems like it will start off with some tax but after 2 weeks staking will be introduced and fees will be set to 0% - interesting approach.

Overall, we know many will appreciate the fact the project is backed by a registered company and its utility is already existent and functioning.

Bear case?

The market sentiment is extremely low currently and at times even solid fundamentals do not guarantee new investors or strong holders. The large airdrop to old holders may also be a cause for concern for some in terms of if any are looking for exit liquidity. The team do claim that a majority of these have been holding since March and many without selling so. Finally, we imagine some would want to see more bridge and incentive between holding the token and the real-world business activities – we are sure the team will come up with some new initiatives though.

As always there is plenty of time to do your own research and make a decision before the fairlaunch ends in a couple of days. So @ATHincoming have their 25 BNB HC presale starting soon which is interesting as we don't usually see projects with such a low starting marketcap. The team (previous work Cheebs & Forever Shiba) have developed a range of utilities which can be used for tracking projects including their ATH incoming bot which will be live from launch. This allows investors to track their favourite coins including seeing their previous ATH. The team have plans for a staking platform where other tokens can provide their community a platform for staking. This is not yet developed and the project would have to really establish themselves in order to attract other communities to their platform.

Tax is slightly higher than the trend at the moment of 10/12 % with 2 % going to an NFT treasury. The team have made 350 NFTs which have numerous use cases based on the rarity. Each NFT holder gains 4% of the total volume weekly alongside access to the project's ATH utilities. There are also 3 rare NFTs that have additional perks including 0% buy and sell tax on the token for life alongside a $500 prize. The NFTs are basic but we imagine people would buy them for the access to perks instead of the aesthetics. Imgaine many will treat this as a gamble play.

Interested to see how this goes as it's certainly a different approach in a climate of fairlaunches.

So @iTrainDefi was brought to our attention by a trusted marketer in the space. It's come reletaviley late so we will provide an overview opposed to a full review which will hopefully spur on your own due diligence. It has the SAFU badge and 0% tax which we know many of you look for. What is actually really interesting is the short window of the fairlaunch which only runs for two hours. Many marketers opt for longer periods so we are interested to see how a shorter time frame works and how it impacts the project.

The team are working on an app which has plans to be available on both the Play store and App store. Essentially, this is an exercsie2earn project. The concepts look sleek but, as it stands, everything is conceptual. The app is planned to be ready in three to four weeks.

There are two ways users will be able to earn through exercise; running and cycling. Both of which offer rewards in the native token, $IT. On the roadmap we can see that they have plans for users to be able to earn by going to the gym too. Many will know, we do like to see utilities developed as investors do get impatient waiting for them. With this in mind, the fact that the app isn't ready and that it is nothing we haven't seen before, we imagine many will consider this a short term investment.

We saw @BugattiDoge live on Pinksale which has just a couple of hours left on the raise and is currently sitting at 140 BNB. It's a meme coin which plays on both Doge and a phrase made popular by Andrew Tate about Bugattis. What's interesting about this project is that it has a raise both on BSC and Dogechain both of which have SAFU and Doxx badges. Looking at the tokenomics, it seems they are exactly the same on both chains. It also has 0% tax which we know many of you look for.

In terms of the project, it is very simple to understand. It's a straight meme coin that doesn't promise to be anything that it's not. The team want to have an old school BSC meme project which will try to build and engage a community to push it forward. There is no utility on offer and none planned on the road map which to be honest we find refreshing. Quite often it feels like utilities are made for the sake of it and actually offer very little value or bring anything new to the table. In addition to this, quite often planned utilities are added to a road map which never see the light of day. Credit to the team as they stated they didn't want to promise things they didn't think they could deliver down the line. We recommend taking a look at the website and litepaper in order to get a better feel for the project and what they are trying to achieve.

Bear case?

We personally don't see the need for a raise on two chains particularly with the sentiment around Dogechain being lower than it was a couple of months ago. It does mean that the team will have to work hard to keep two charts healthy which will obviously be more challenging than just focusing on one, particularly in these challenging market conditions.

So we will be hosting @localtradersofficial for an AMA near the close of their fairlaunch presale.

So @CondorChain goes live shortly on Pinksale. As it has the SAFU badge and low tax we thought it was worth reviewing as we know these are features that many of you look for. The team have recoginised limitations with BSC particuarly when teams are launching a wide range of gamefi projects with unique features. As a result, they have created a blockchain which has catered technolgies to help support defi, gamefi and NFT projects. There are so many layers to this project so we suggest looking at the whitepaper but we will provide an overview for you to start your process of due dilligence.

The team have multiple features which they hope will get people to launch projects on their chain. The main ones that stands out are low fees and allegedly fast speeds on transactions for users, up to 100k TPS. There are multiple utilities that feed into the eco-system such as a bridge and a swap. Whilst these aren't revoultionary or new, when you look at the wider picture, the team are planning to be a one stop shop for project owner's needs. It seems the team have tried to think about longevity with a percentage of funds from presales and taxes going to an investment pool which will be used to hopefully drive more people to the chain.

It looks like testnet and mainnet is live and users can already try out the chain and deploy smart contracts. Looking at the chain, the team have three projects which have deployed their contracts using their system. It should be noted, these projects aren't particuarly complex so it's hard to gauge how the chain will cope with the demands of more unique tokenmoics and features.

It's great to see the team coming to the table with live utilities as we often see projects opening their presale with entirely conceptual ideas. However, there are some utilities we felt were some what unneccesary such as the wallet and NFT marketplace as these have been so many times before.

Bear case?

We have seen a huge increase in the amount of chains created and it is becoming to feel like somewhat of an oversaturated market. With this project it seems everything is ready to go so it's now just a case of whether or not the team can use their investment pool funds wisely in order to convince projects onwers to launch on their chain. With BSC being so established and dominant this will not be an easy feat.

So Candybar was brought to us last minute and a brief look suggested it was maybe worth highlighting to allow people to do their own due diligence. Please note this is not a review post as we haven't had time to do our usual indepth research.

They have their 50 BNB softcap fairlaunch presale beginning in an hour with safu badge, audit and KYC badge. Worth noting there was a 50 BNB private but will please many to know it only accounts for 2.9% of total supply.

So in terms of utility, the team aim to deliver an app and ecosystem that provides info about defi markets. The token will be used for accessing various features amongst other things - good to see a team making a conscious effort to provide an actual utility/worth for the token within the platform. Plenty of time to do your own research as the fairlaunch doesn't begin for an hour and is then open for 2 days. Project Review - Voxnet

So Voxnet has an ETH presale coming up set for the end of October/beginning of November. It is a fully integrated P2E project from an experienced game developer in the space. Given the fact that the game has already been through Alpha and Beta testing and is fully functional awaiting full launch, we felt this was a project worth delving into.

The game is P2E PVP based, with multiple maps, weapons and avatars to choose from. The graphics themselves are cartoony – perhaps can be likened to Minecraft-esque. The character animation is really smooth which ties well with the fast paced nature of the game. It is well worth finding the unedited footage of the game in their socials (we will also try post on our Twitter) to get a feel for the game yourselves and also read their whitepaper which is available on their website. It is great to see also that it can be played without having to download anything.

What we were most impressed with, and we imagine many will be, was the fact that the game is fully developed and ready to launch all before presale. There are also some really cool features such as a wagering/betting system for PVP battles and even an RPG element in terms of a fully-developed stat system which tracks your player’s development (something we haven’t see before in P2E games in the space). So on this point, when you sell your game character NFT, you will sell it on the marketplace with all its gear and stats – we thought that was really interesting.

Another aspect we wanted to touch on in more detail as a distinct point is what the developer is called ‘enhanced P2E’. It is interesting as it could encourage both buying and holding of the token as opposed to just playing to earn. Essentially, there is a formula (payout = 0.001% of your total token balance) where the more tokens you hold will result is a larger payout for actions such as per kill. Given this is a more novel approach, perhaps questions may be raised, as with all more innovative implementations, of any potential risk of exploitation. It does, however, solve a huge issue of essentially ‘free-loaders’ draining the reward pool whilst not being active holders. On the other hand, some may argue it serves to only reward the richer and larger holders – an interesting one to muse.

Worth noting that the socials for the project are fairly quiet as no marketing has been done yet.
In terms of the presale, it will be a whitelist presale with 75 ETH softcap and 150 ETH hardcap on Unicrypt. There was a 20 ETH private but it is pleasing to see it only accounts for just under 6% of the total raise. The taxes will be 4.5% on buys and 4.5% on sells in order to fund marketing and the reward pool.

Bear Case?

The biggest issue we can see is the website (especially mobile version) is the first impression for many and it is really basic and frankly doesn’t do the project justice. We really hope the team take this point on board and invest good money to have it properly revamped to the requisite quality. The game itself is a lot more fleshed out that many seen in the space but there is no denying, even disregarding wider market sentiment, that P2E sentiment is at one of its lowest points, especially comparative to last year. This could be due to the oversaturation the space saw and this may change as better, more quality games are released to reinvigorate the genre. Some may feel that the tax is fairly high, understandable though as to sustain the reward pool but slightly against the current meta of low tax projects. Lastly, whitelist presales do run the risk, if the raise doesn’t open strongly, of it quickly resulting in bearish sentiment which could offput investors when it goes public and therefore struggling to hit the caps.

Overall, it is a project that boasts solid fundamentals and has attempted to bring some fresh ideas to what is typically seen from P2E game in the space.

So we have been reflecting on our role in the space and how we wish to position ourselves. The past 6 months the reviews channel, we believe, has been used to fulfil an extremely important role in the Telegram community – to offer genuinely honest and well-researched reviews of crypto projects. This had been something we noted was sorely missing in the space given the rise in number of not only fundamentally weak projects but also shill texts and misleading posts elsewhere about them.

Judging by the level of quality analysis we see from the replies over on our Twitter discussion threads, we feel we are at a point where our community is now equipped with the skillset to identify weaknesses in projects and as a result, potential avoid poor investment choices.

With that in mind, we will be making some changes to the amount of projects posted on @gollumsgemsreviews and, instead, focus solely on projects with solid fundamentals and/or ones that may offer profit making opportunities.

So we have seen a recent trend shift in fairlaunch presales over the past few days which we know many of you appreciate. That we are referring to is the fairlaunches only running from anywhere from a few hours to maximum one day and often lower softcaps. This seems to work as it leads to less ‘no fills’ but also less crazy over fills as a result of several day – one week raises. It also encourages people to make an more immediate investment decision due to the time constraints which almost sees the fairlaunches operating as more of a conventional presale in a way. It may also help investors identify the more genuine teams who aren't just looking for ways to farm the largest raise possible.

With this in mind, we have been keeping our eye out for more of them that are operating in this manner and RexChain was one highlighted to us, with a 5 hour runtime, by a trusted marketer in the space. We felt that it was worth bringing to the attention of the community and providing a brief overview.

As previously alluded to, it is a fairlaunch presale with a 25 BNB softcap and just over an hour left with 25 BNB raised.
Nothing new here but it seems the utility isn’t functional yet but imagine the 0% on buys and 1% on sells will appeal to many as will a potentially low total raise as it stands.

Had a look at the website and really liked the motion background of the logo, caught the eye. The rest of the website is fairly run of the mill - did note perhaps a lack of requisite detail in their whitepaper.

Issues will be likely be raised around whether the utility (a L1 blockchain) will be delivered due to a few potential reasons including: impatience from holders, team not following through on plans and issues around funding/sustainability given the potentially low raise amount and 0/1% tax.

We see Blockombat, who we featured a while back for a review redid their presale on another platform and raised over $500k across different platforms. We haven't followed their journey since the last attempted presale we covered but imagine some of you have.

They are launching today in 30 minutes on PCS and interesting to see the initial marketcap is allegedly only $90k.

Seems from looking at the Telegram staking will be available very shortly after launch. Unsure why the 'fully ready' game will be uploaded to play store 'immediately after PCS' launch. Our thought is always if you have a working product, show it. The team claim it is due to app store taking 24-48 hours - we will let people come to their own conclusion off of this information.

Curious to see how it goes at an early launch time with market conditions not the best.

Given the prior raise imagine many will monitor launch and look for a potential entry off the dip if looking to invest.

Didn't get a chance to update past few days but great to see that two recent whitelist giveaways: OpenAuctions and Lunc Hero went x3-4 off launch.

Gains this past month have been really solid across all channels and shows the worth of engaging in all aspects from entering the whitelist giveaways and reading our reviews to tuning into the AMAs.

So what we saw that @bunnykingglobal is having a presale tomorrow. The reason we decided to look into it was it is a safu badge whitelist presale and we know these are beginning to come back into favour again of recent.

The project plans to deliver a P2E game, the trailer is allegedly coming out next week but development of the game is still ongoing - we will say what we have countless times before, teams really need to start coming to presale with their utility live.

The website is quite nice in terms of aesthetics and better than the average seen in the space. Once again like previous reviews of recent, we noted plans for a 'metaverse' which seems ambitious at best.

Another positive is that there were no private sale and we know many will appreciate that. The same marketing team also apparently had another presale go x7 + off launch too.

Taxes are at 7%/7% which is above current trend of low tax but not the highest we have seen and would atleast suggest there should be funding to avoid potential sustainability issues seen in some 0% tokens.

Unfortunately, there was no whitepaper so literally no information on the P2E game itself anywhere on the website or released medium article. Team have said the whitepaper and trailer was purposefully delayed though and is still scheduled to drop (to allegedly avoid copying of concept).

Knowing the space and given the name, it could also be worth the team pivoting and leaning into a meme coin angle until any development is delivered given 'King' has been a trend in the past and animal names have historically done well as memes.

Bear case?

The website is extremely light on detail and at times appears just to be using vague terminology and buzzwords without any substance. The utilities are all, as it stands, words on a page and conceptual ideas. We are curious to see how the team plan to keep investors engaged and holding during the development phase of the project. Finally, whitelist presales, whilst coming back into favour, can still struggle to fill if the perceived demand doesn't outweigh 'availability' in terms of chances of getting into the presale.

There is a day left to do your own due diligence - we just feel it is a shame the team didn't decide to release the alleged trailer before presale as we imagine it would have at least given potential investors a tiny insight into the utility.

We have seen @OboloFinance posted about so thought we would take a look into it. The team have planned to make a utility one stop shop for crypto needs. From launch they have some utility avaliable including a swap, chart analysis and poll for users to vote and give exposure to their favourite coins. Looking at them, they seem to be reskins of existing products but the team claim to have tweaked them to make them more user friendly and accessible. For example, they have recoginised crypto has a global audience and have added 9 languages to their system.

The team are planning to build everything in their eco-system around the native token, $OBO. Essentially, they want to have everything fueled by it including allowing people to buy ads on the platform and selling data from their platform to other projects. Looking at the road map, there is planned features for the native token such as a lottery, minigames, staking and a token reward caculator.

Bear case?

The existing utilities on offer here are nothing that we haven't seen hundreds of times before. In it's current state the project feels somewhat underdeveloped with the staking and yield farms around 2 weeks away. Many will know that is a long time in crypto, particuarly in this climate, and it will be very challenging to keep investors engaged whilst they wait for the release. In addition, it seems the mini games seem entirely conceptual with no suggested time frame for release or indication to what they might be on the website. We imagine many will treat this as a gamble play due to the fact it doesn't have the SAFU badge and is the team's first project.

We can see @SpookyHalloweenFloki have been working hard and hit an ATH of 800k which is well over 4X for anyone that invested in the presale.

We questioned whether the team could keep up the hype leading up to Halloween and credit to them as they have managed to do it so far. Interested to see where they go in the second half of October!

So we have seen shill texts of Clupos posted around elsewhere and thought we would delve into it to offer an actual indepth and honest assessment of the project ahead of its fairlaunch presale today.

First impressions from the website were actually pretty good, it is well designed and has a clean UI. The whitepaper, like the website, is aesthetically pleasing and well presented but arguably just rehashes information found on the actual website and lacks the depth required to be informative enough about the specifics of the project.

We have to admit we were a little lost on the overall vision of the project, potentially due to vague terminology used in places that relate to the general space. Also large parts of the website allude to a Gamefi platform with an NFT marketplace and then in other instances there is talk of an app being for users to manage their investment portfolio and to find out information about the markets. The recurring theme of the space however, strikes again, with the app and other utilities are still ‘under development’ and won’t be live until ‘phase 3’ – whenever that is. Also on the roadmap is a ‘metaverse’ in phase 4. The roadmap itself, at times, felt like it run the risk of just including buzz words for the sake of it given there is absolutely no sign of any development of anything yet aside from some concept art of the app. It does seem that a swap will be live soon – hopefully it isn’t just a reskinned PCS.

The presale itself is a 50 BNB softcap fairlaunch with a safu badge beginning today at 3 PM UTC. Seems there a lot of tokens allocated for various things including: ‘future development’ - 11% and ‘advisors’ - 8%.

It is a positive to see that the Telegram community seems well built in terms of quality of the marketing. At the time of writing, there are 4000 total members with 1000 online, one of the best ratios we have seen in a while and the chat is pretty active with organic chatter.

Overall, some positives of a seemingly organic Telegram before presale and a fairly solid looking website but question marks will remain over the overall vision of the project and the fact that all of the main utilities are, at this current time, conceptual.

Bear case?

The utilities proposed offer absolutely nothing new the space haven’t seen, or at least been promised before. It will feel like an all too familiar story of plans for a project to produce an NFT marketplace, trading platform and/or metaverse that aren’t yet developed. Once again, question marks around the funding for such ambitious utilities will likely be raised by many give the 0/3% taxes. Finally, it will take a lot of patience, which is rarely ever seen, from investors whilst the team develop the app, assuming funding is there and they are true to their plans.

As always there is plenty of time to do your own research with a few hour before the fair launch begins and then a couple of days before it ends. We know many favour the strategy nowadays of doing their research, monitoring the raise and making a decision in the closing hours whether or not to invest.

So we mentioned them earlier on Twitter and we know a few of you jumped into their Twitter spaces they were hosting at 7 PM UTC to learn about their project.

So their presale opens in 1 hour on Pinksale, it has KYC, audit and doxx badge but interestingly no safu badge.

The vision is certainly an interesting one, being a defi based football agency, signing players and using revenue generated to reward holders. Issue being that the platform isn't even under development yet and we do wonder if the team will have the requisite skills and connects to make this a possibility. It will also require huge faith and patience from holders to wait until the platform is developed.

What also may concern people is the alleged 750 BNB private sale that accounts for 15% of total supply.

Worth noting the Telegram only has 1600 members only with 150 online as of time of writing - likely a concern for many given the soft cap.

We do imagine people will like the 0% tax though - if ignoring concerns surrounding sustainability.

Plenty of time to do your own research as the fairlaunch doesn't begin for an hour and is then open for 2 days. We know the strategy nowadays for everyone seems to be to wait until the end before making a decision.
