🔸 Tax Officials in Chalkida ran a blackmail and extortion operation since 2020

🔸 The ring leader was the head of the Financial Services Directorate. The ring had the participation of accountants and mediators (διεκπεραιωτές) in order to identify and blackmail businessmen, usually calling them and threatening to block tax returns or collect debts

⚠️ A notebook found with the head of DOU (ΔΟΥ - Financial Services Directorate) had a list of names (i.e VAR., DA, "LINA", "SPYROS") along with values and dates, some of the dates went as back as 4-11-2020 until 2024

‼️ Last Tuesday the police saw a man entering the Tax Office with an envelope and left without it, they stopped the man after he left the office and questioned him about it, he told the police officers that he was a businessman and was blackmailed into paying €10.000, he said to have also paid them on May 17

I am, once again, urging our guys to switch to Linux. I’ve made a few Linux posts in the past about which to use/what I recommend. Linux has come a long way in just a few years. With massive help from Valve and their steam deck using Linux. Gaming, productivity, everything, is usable on Linux. There is very little reason to not switch. SWITCH.

And for those who say they have windows only apps, you can run .exe (windows) apps on Linux through Wine and/or Lutris.

​​Armenians around the world today remember the 1.5 million victims of the Turkish atrocities that began in 1894 and continued until 1917

Today marks the 109th anniversary of the 1915 Genocide of Armenians, Greeks, and Assyrians. On the night of April 24, 1915, the Ottoman government announced the arrest of the first wave of 235 of the most prominent Armenian intellectuals in Constantinople.

The Turkish Ottoman government killed Armenians through shootings, starvation, death marches, and torture of all kinds. The most common type of killing was death marches, where Armenians were sent to starve to death in the Syrian desert.

Children and women were often attempted to be forcibly Islamized, leading to mass suicides. Young women and girls were often used as domestic servants or sex slaves. Some boys were kidnapped to work as forced laborers for Muslims.

Those who were able to walk more than a thousand kilometers across the desert and survived were granted asylum in French Mandate Syria.

The genocide led to the formation of an Armenian diaspora, and survivors mostly chose France, Argentina and the United States as a refuge.

After the massacres and deportations, some Armenians tried to use bribes to find Armenian orphans as part of the "one child, one bar of gold" campaign. Through the local population, Armenians bribed people who sang Armenian lullabies and thus triggered the memories of the children in order to identify them.

In 1920, a revenge operation called "Nemesis" was launched.

Between 1920 and 1922, the underground cell of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation committed seven assassinations, the most famous of which was the assassination of Talaat Pasha, the main organizer of the Armenian genocide, carried out by Armenian Soghomon Telirian in March 1921 in Berlin.

On August 22, 1939, in preparation for the impending invasion of Poland, Hitler stated:
“Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”

Israel still has not recognized the Armenian Genocide.

In 2015, the Armenian Church canonized all 1.5 million martyrs of the Turkish atrocities.

In 2016, Armenian philanthropists Noubar Afeyan, Vartan Gregorian, and Ruben Vardanyan (abducted, currently being held in an Azeri-Turkish prison in Baku) established the Aurora Prize, which is awarded annually on behalf of Armenian Genocide survivors. The winner of the Aurora Award receives a $1,000,000 dollar prize for awakening humanity. The award recipients are distinguished individuals fighting for human rights around the world and the prize goes to their chosen charitable organizations.

The genocide is fully recognized by 34 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the United States, Russia, as well as by the European Parliament and the Catholic Church. Dozens of countries around the world have partially recognized the genocide. The first country to recognize the genocide was Uruguay in 1965.

Together with the Armenians, 900,000 Greeks and 750,000 Assyrians were killed.

The Armenian genocide is stubbornly denied by Turkey, Azerbaijan and Pakistan, which 109 years later, in 2023, ethnically cleansed Armenian-populated Artsakh through a 10-month blockade, famine and numerous wars.

Since 2021, the Istanbul Governorate has banned public events commemorating the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

🔸 The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, announced that Greece will acquire Anti-Missile and Anti-Drone systems similar to Israel's Iron Dome, citing that after observing Israel's system responding to Iran's attack and the war in Ukraine, the need for such systems became obvious

🔸 He noted that Turkey increased its drone production and development and that initially Greece did not think it was necessary to fill that gap in the Armed Forces System

🔴 Turkey to suspend implementation of Treaty on Conventional Forces in Europe

🔸 Turkey announced that it will suspend the implementation of the CFE Treaty. It means that Turkey will abolish the ceilings of forces and armaments imposed by the treaties as well as the mutual checks to ensure that countries were complying with the ceilings and the guidelines for destruction and withdraw of war materials

‼️ This comes a while after Russia withdrew from the treaty which caused NATO to declare its 'freezing' as the relevance of the treaty without Russia is reduced significantly

He stabbed her on her back multiple times, puncturing her lungs, diaphragm and breaking one rib, the woman recovered after a surgery and spending a lot of time in the ICU, her backpack is seen as what saved her from more fatal wounds. The Iraqi man had arrived in Greece hours before the attack, he claimed the woman was an agent of Germany watching him

According with repports, the victim was followed by the immigrant to the restroom of a bar she was at with her family. The Pakistani immobilized the girl and raped her, fleeing shortly after, CCTV footage assisted in his capture

👮🏻‍♂️ The authorities located the man a few hours later, the paki claimed the act with the minor was consensual. The investigation is still ongoing and he is under police custody

🔸 The first meeting of the "Migrant and Refugee Council of the Municipality of Piraeus" was held earlier this month, it counted with the presence of government representatives as well as UN commissioners, NGOs and associations of immigrants

🔸 The "council" decided to discuss the following topics during their next:

‼️1 - Social inclusion, culture, sports, learning the Greek language, education, health and the labor market

‼️2 - Faster renewal of residence permits, as well as implementation of alternative forms of detention

‼️3 - The organization of events and voluntary initiatives in cooperation with local agencies for better adaptation and integration of immigrants in the 'Greek reality'

🔴 Cyprus to suspend the reviewing of Asylum Applications for Syrians and reject others automatically

🔸 According with the Cypriot Minister of Interior, ALL Asylum Applications from people who claim to have Syrian origin will be suspended, it was also decided to immediately revoke the Asylum status or reject applications from people who have traveled to Syria in the past 12 months

🔸 Many immigrants travel back to Syria after acquiring Asylum in Europe, in Cyprus' case, they fly to Syria by going to the illegally occupied region of Cyprus

🔸 The reason being that the reassessment of Syria's status as a safe country as well as the definition of safe areas within Syria is being evaluated

‼️The move opens a precedent for other European countries to re-evaluate the applications as well as who has the right to even request Asylum

‼️ This alone is not enough

🔴 New wave of immigration threatens Cyprus

🔸 Between January 1st and April 4th, around 3.530 illegal immigrants reached Cyprus. Most of them claim to be Syrians (over 2000 immigrants), while others are mostly from African countries

🔸 In the first quarter of 2023, the total of arrivals to Cyprus by sea was of 78, while in 2024 it reached 2.004 illegal immigrants. In the first quarter of 2023 around 2.656 immigrants entered Cyprus through the neutral zone while in 2024 the number decreased to 1.012

🔴 New 7.4 Billion EU immigration deal and Greek Ministry of Immigration still lying about reduced immigration

‼️ The EU has signed a € 7.4 Billion Euros immigration deal with Egypt. € 5 Billions in Soft Loans, € 1.8 Billion as investments for the private sector, € 600 Million in grants and € 200 Million for immigration management

🔸 The deal is significant since many smugglers and the immigrants themselves either go through Egypt to reach Libya and other North African countries to depart towards Europe or go to Europe directly from Egypt. Egypt also is a far more honorable ally than Turkey

🔸 Meanwhile the Greek Minister of Migration and Asylum, Dimitris Keiridis claims illegal immigration dropped 70% in the upper Aegean and 90% in Evros claiming Egypt has played a major role, insane claims given how both 2023 and 2024 have registered the highest number of immigrants since 2016

🔴 Island of Gavdos declares emergency with increased flow of immigrants

🔸 Gavdos is a Greek island south of Crete, with a total of 120 native residents

🔸 The mayor of Gavdos declared an emergency this week after once again the flow of immigrants to the island increased

‼️ Between Monday night and early Tuesday, the island experienced the arrival of 91 illegal immigrants, 64 of them being adult men while 23 claim to be minors, most of them claim to be Egyptian and some are from Bangladesh

‼️ Arrivals of illegal immigrants have become a daily occurrence in the island since last saturday and the island has probably received well over 1000 illegal immigrants this year alone
