👉 The third case happened in the evening, a boat carrying 26 illegal immigrants, 22 adult men and 4 "minors", the illegal immigrants were stuck in a rocky area in the sea area "Kounenoi" west of the beach of Martsalos municipality of Phaistos

‼️ The losses of Apache helicopters may range from 15% to 31% of the Greek fleet, so far it is not confirmed if all 6 affected Apaches were indeed completely damaged, but that will depend on how many of the affected helicopters will be able to be fully restored

🔸 The Greek Government has the responsibility to investigate the connections between NGOs, Immigrant Smugglers and the smugglers themselves

🔸 Nobody is surprised that they do not investigate anything and in fact seem to facilitate things whenever possible, but is there really any pushback against the complacency of the government?

🔸 This serves for more than just Greece, if a "right wing" politician that made a strong stance while campaigning but turns complacent after elected, or becomes more moderate as the pressure from the media grows, the problem isn't just the politician but the lack of pressure from the actual "right wing"

🔸 The pressure in question could be made in several ways, from lobbying, to directly going to the politician's office to make demands and remind him why he was elected

🔸 The denial of asylum applications from 'Syrians' is not the only measure being taken. Another major factor has been the stronger guarding the maritime and also the land border between Cyprus and the illegally occupied regions of the country

🔸 The group were a family of 5. A 52 year old husband, 43 year old wife, two nieces aged 22 and 34 and a 36 year old man with double nationality (Greek and Albanian), all of them with exception of the wife pleaded guilty

🔸 As it turns out, the incident where mayor of the island of Tilos accused a woman of telling port authorities to throw immigrants into the sea while she also filmed babies (a very rare occurrence in itself) disembarking from the ship that rescued them was all fake

🔸 The woman identified in the video as Rita, and later further identified as Rita Lombardo is in fact, Turkish, and she works in the Turkish Embassy of Athens

🔸 Some of her posts show her support of anti-american posts and Turkish nationalist posts

‼️ This also aligns very well with the fact that before the rescue, the illegal immigrants that were 'stranded' were interviewed by a TV channel based in Turkey, Rita also sold two professional cameras online in 2019, which could indicate that she did some sort of professional work related to the media
