Enforcer antispam system.
Enforcers anti spam system is now online.
If you send it more than 5 commands and/or press an inline button more than 5 times in a minute it will send you a warning.
If you hit 11 commands/button presses it will ban you from the bot for 10 minutes.
This is to ensure we stay below the API limit which is very strict.

Enforcer markdown change.
To prevent people with unusual names and other outliers from breaking the markdown on your message. Enforcer is now using HTML Markdown.
Below I have linked a basic guide to HTML Text formatting as everyone will need to modify there messages with markdown.

We had some scaling issues on the bot so we swapped back for a bit while we sorted that out. We appear to be running fine now under the previous load

We will soon be going live with the new bot. We have spent the last couple days trying to test everything.
It should mostly be the same, a couple commands have changed a little. You can use /getcommands to see all the commands, some of which might not be for normal users.
Media settings, flood and group language can now all be set in /menu.
The bot can now be fully translated into any language. If you would like to translate the bot please join @werewolfsupport.

For those of you who want to do markdown in your messages but do not use plus messenger, telegram web and do not want to use @bold you can use /mark <message> and Enforcer will reply with the message marked down
Example: /mark _italics_ *bold* [link description](url)
We've made a couple minor updates to @tthemebot. When uploading / editing a theme, you can now /cancel at any time. The bot also will not reply in PM anymore if you reply to it in a group.
We've also updated some of the questions asked to help themers create better listings, and made it so you can display your username without showing your display name on the listing.
Themes are now available on the public version of Telegram! Be sure to check out some available themes using @tthemebot inline search (check out null and nightmode, those are my favourites)

Null
This is the null theme for TDesktop. Clean, dark and with simple blue details.
For those with TDesktop Alpha (support for themes) we've created @tthemebot . Use it for inline searching themes, or to upload your own themes for Telegram. As usual, submit bug reports and such on GitHub (https://github.com/GreyWolfDev/Telegram-Theme-Bot)

The bot is currently having trouble.
Now, take a look at that individual : his behaviour is the opposite of the appropriate behaviour.
Do NOT spam the bot.
Take some time to eat, sleep and go outside
Some groups might see errors popping up within their games : index out of range.
Well, let's called that the celebration syndrome. Happy new year, and don't let the bugs prevent you from having fun.

× in-report buttons: kicking, warning and banning don't have the same response by the bot (banned = smol popup, kicked = reply in pm, warned = message sent in group)

× add reporter's name to a solved report
× add admin's id to the in-pm "this has been solved" message
× when a report has been kicked by button, reply to the reported message, not to the report
× add "global ban info" and "group info" strings back to user info
× in /user, a warn shows up as going to whoever sent /user
× if you /user an admin, they can be warned

All the issues above were fixed
The new command is /adminon and /adminoff.
An admin can use this to stop the bot from sending them @admin reports.
If your reply to another admin with the command it will turn if off for them.
I urge all admins who do not want to get the commands to turn it off and can other admins please turn it off for in active admins or creators.
As another measure to stay within Telegrams api a group will only be sent one welcome message in a 60 second period, no matter how many people join during that period.

We have also had the bots usernamed changed. No one will need to do anything, but the bot will now respond to @enforcerbot instead of the previous one
The new bot is now live on @werewolfbutlerbot.
If you encounter anything not working as it used to or a bug please join @werewolfsupport
The bot is coming back online now. Should take about 5 minutes to catch up.

Hi everyone. We are currently testing a complete rebuild of Enforcer that will be much faster and support significantly higher load. We are will be announcing a beta program of some sort for it ASAP to sort out any small issues before going mainstream with it.
For those of you who are interested to know: we had to completely rebuild Enforcer because the programming language it was originally built in is a single threaded scripting language that is very unstable. This means that whenever the bot came under heavy load or just felt like it it would slow down or restart itself. Sadly no amount of improvements can fix the fundamental flaws in the programming language itself so we started from scratch and built basically an entirely new bot. It will have exactly the same data in it as the old one and the commands should be exactly the same, any exception to this will be mentioned here.

It is with a heavy heart I post this message. One of our own has passed on to a kinder place.

Today we mourn the loss of @andre_fuqua, a werewolf player from Texas. He passed away this morning from gunshot wounds sustained in a violent attack last night. He was a compassionate, free-spirited young man that was always smiling and brought smiles to those closest to him. Our thoughts are with his family during this sad time.
While *I* did not know him personally, many players had the good fortune of knowing this kind soul. In learning about him, some even called him "Ghandi". I am deeply saddened by this unfortunate loss to our community, and as stated above our thoughts are with his family and friends.
Let the next game you play be in honour of Andre Fuqua (@andre_fuqua), the kindest runner in Texas
The backlog of themes pending approval has been cleared (finally) - there are now a lot of checks in place for file validation as well.
Please, if you upload a theme, follow a few guidelines:
Give the file the same name as your theme (or close to it)
Give your theme a meaningful title and description
For the screenshot, please use the official Telegram theme preview, not a screenshot of your private chats
Do not upload duplicates of themes others have created
To make changes, do not re-upload your theme - please use /edittheme instead
For those wondering how to use themes, they are currently only available on Telegram Desktop alpha (until Telegram fully releases)

To those who joined the Coup beta:
in about 15 hours I will run a command. If you have only played 1 game, or not at all, you will be removed from the beta so others can have a chance to join. Please keep this in mind!
Sorry, apparently some people are confused. The beta slots are for Coup, not Werewolf. Coup is a new game we at Grey Wolf are working on. You should definitely look it up (and buy a physical copy to support the original devs), as it is my absolute favourite game.

Hi everyone. Some of you will start seeing the bot sending a message saying "Message to long, please decrease the number of characters used".
No we arent twitter but the telegram api limits the bot based on the size of messages sent and messages over 1024 characters will now recieve that response instead of the actual message.
Please adjust your saved /rules, /welcome messages as needed. This sadly has to be implemented as some people have been sending essays through the bot and ruining the experiance for the other 10000 users.
