We are going to downgrade the Werewolf server. It's bigger than we need now that we have moved other bots off it, so it will save us some money to downgrade the server. I will be putting Werewolf into maintenance mode shortly. Once games have ended, I will bring the server down, shrink it, then bring it back online.

[Enforcer Update 27.08.2017]

- Change in @pingall: Enforcer now pings you via inline mention, this means, you can register yourself even if you don't have a username. Unfortunately, all the lists had to be reset for that. In order to subscribe (again), use /pingme, hit the Register button and (re-)start the bot.

- Group admins can now remove people from @pingall by using /unping [username/ID/reply]

- In case spam bots are added to your group and make a keyboard at the bottom, you can use /clearkeys and enforcer will remove the current keyboard for everyone. Report those bots and the People who add them at @GreyWolfSupport (with screenshot). Reported people will be global banned and your groups with enforcer are safe.

Made some neat updates today to the CSChatBot. Modules can now return a response with thumbnail images for inline searching, plus detailed information for the inline view. Screenshots to follow.

For those who don't know:
CSChatBot is a modular bot written in C# that makes creating your own bot a bit simpler. Source code is at https://github.com/GreyWolfDev/CSChatBot along with documentation. NO DATABASE NEEDED - it uses it's own db! Nice and easy.

Want to test CSChatBot? Hit up @serasvbot, which is always running the latest commit from github.

For some reason, the werewolfbot just keeps crashing. The developers are already trying to fix it.

In the meanwhile, you can play in the groups that use the beta bot, for example our official @werewolfgame. We will announce here as soon as the bot is up again.

Enforcer is coming back online now. It needs some time to process all the messages. Further downtime will need to be scheduled in the future when most of the user base is sleeping to fully resolve the database issue.

It should be noted that all ban counters and other global user stats were reset. This shouldnt need to be done again

[Groups unable to use bots]

Hi everyone. Some of you may know that all bots, not just ours, stopped working in some groups after the major update they released. We have been working with Telegram on the issue and come up with solution to the problem.

Telegram bot developers need to revoke their api tokens to fix the issue. If you are a bot developer please revoke your api token just incase your bot was also impacted in some groups.

If you are in a group where a bot has stopped working please contact the developers of the bot and then ask them to revoke their api token so that the issue can be resolved.

We are aware of 4 groups being impacted by this issue but Telegram says it will impact groups with over 12000000 messages

[Werewolf Fixes]

- When Sorcerer and / or Tanner are the last players standing, no one will win, and there are brand new detailed descriptions of what happens in that case!
- Day time is fixed. Previously, even if the bot displayed you had some number of seconds to discuss, you were actually given the same number of seconds as the lynch time.
- You can now get Long Haul at the end of the game, if the game was longer than 1h.
- "I Helped" can now be achieved only by the Wolf Cub (and not by his DG anymore)

[Enforcer leaving groups]

Currently, spambanned people causes enforcer to leave groups wherever it sees them. If it happens in your group, please contact @greywolfsupport and give us the usernames of the people who cause the bot to leave. We will temporarily unban them until the problem is fixed. Thanks to everyone who can help us about this

There is nothing we can do while we wait for Telegram to fix itself .
