So, I didn't know that the new method would notify players. Apologies to all those getting notifications from the player list when you're already dead.
I made a couple minor changes -
1 - I set the disable_notification value on the API - this will still notify you, but it won't make any noise
2 - If you are dead, the player list will remove the link from your name, and just send it as bold
If these do not work, or there are still issues, please contact @werewolfsupport

Telegram has decided not to send enforcedbot updates anymore.

As of now, the spam detection limits have been changed. For now, unless we need to change it, the limits are:
10 commands to bot within 1 minute: Warn
20 commands to bot within 1 minute: Temp Ban
Also, it has been patched - if the bot is lagging, and you send 20 commands over 5 minutes, you will NOT receive a tempban. That issue is fixed.
We've also patched a slight issue where sending dev only commands in a group would NOT cause the spam detection to trigger. Spam detection now counts ALL commands, not just commands done in PM. That means if you do it in a group - you'll get hit now.
First ban: 12 hours
Second ban: 1 day
Third ban: 3 days
Fourth ban: You are done. You are forever banned from @werewolfbot, there are no appeals.
When you get banned, the bot will no longer respond to you. It won't even say 'You are banned' - this would just allow spammers to keep spamming the bot, which wouldn't solve anything.

Users can no longer use more than one command every 4 seconds. Now you can't spam it even if you wanted
[Werewolf Lag]
So, we've been having some issues with lag lately, and we've spent the past couple days working on figuring out why. In doing so we have also implemented a little more security - like blocking people from trying to brute force our database, which was causing issues (see previous message :P)
We also have some new spam detection systems in place, as well as a new tool that will allow us to get Werewolf back up to speed easily.
While I don't believe the problem is solved yet, we are getting much closer.

As Para highlighted earlier, Grey Wolf Development keeps making sure paid ads are clear of all the products we offer, because we think it ruins user experience.
That being said, we will not put up with people joining random groups, sending ads and ruining user experience.
We WILL ban people who spam ads, and groups who support them.
However, if contenders of the same sub-grouplist start trying to bring each other down by reporting ads abusively, we will simply remove the sub-grouplist for as long as we deem necessary.

[Grouplist Update]
We are now removing groups that contain the word "Official" in there groups name from grouplist. There are only 2 offical werewolf groups the rest of all unoffical.
If your group has been removed and you changed your name please contact support to be put back on grouplist

[Enforcer Update 24 July]
Anti media deletes the media posted now.
Bot was updated to 3.1
Tempban makes use of telegrams tempban system.
Tempban now understands more commands for time. Example:
Tempban [ID] 3 days
Tempban [ID] 5 hours
Tempban [ID] 5 minutes
Tempban [ID] 64 hours
It also works with username and reply. It does not work with times like "5 days 3 hours"
Addendum:
Spamming me is NOT a good way to get your group relisted / unbanned. It will only cause me to report YOU as spam. I'd suggest it stops. To the multiple people who just copy / pasted the same thing to me, while I'm at work trying to get things done, I have reported as spam, because that is EXACTLY what you are doing to me.
Normally I will hear people out and give them a chance to explain / correct actions / whatever, but if you are all going to spam me, I'm just going to block you

At this point I have zero desire to listen to anyone from your group. Don't even try
[Werewolf grouplist]
The grouplist is still almost unranked! At this point, you can easily get to the top of the grouplist of a language by simply
1. Doing /setlink@werewolfbot
2. Playing a game in that language
not necessarily in this order.
Here you can find a table of the number of groups that have been ranked under the various languages. If your language has less than 10 groups ranked, as soon as you complete the two steps, you get in the grouplist. Note that you are conted in every language you played during the last week.

Thanks to the latest update to the Telegram Bot API - users with no username will no longer appear as bold! From now on, ALL players will have their name linked in the player list / private messages :)

All large groups (well, really, any groups!):
If you've not already done so, I highly recommend that creators of groups select one or two of their admins and give them the ability to add other admins. If something were to happen (you delete your account for some reason, or worse, something bad happens to you), your group would be messed up as no one would be able to manage the group.

Currently, Werewolfbot is spammed commands like /join and /startgame by some groups. This is making the whole bot lag again and again in the last few days. Please be aware that we see who is spamming the bot and we will ban those groups from playing werewolf.

This doesn't mean you are allowed to message global admins showing some random screenshot and expecting them to global ban your "enemy" group.
[Werewolf: Group spam]
It has come to our attention that some groups are spamming ads & links, in private and in other groups; some others are adding random people to their group without even asking.
We cannot either allow or accept these behaviours, because we do care about the order in the groups that use our bots, and we care about the users that are victims of spam and adds.
For these reasons, a big persian group called "🇮🇷 мαƒiα IR 🇮🇷", which was reported multiple times, has just been banned. Please, if you know about these cases of spam, or you are a victim, do report us the group, and we will take action if needed.
[Phillipines Telegram Block]
Hi everyone.
So it has come to our attention that users on Smart and PLDT networks in the Phillipines are no longer able to access Telegram.
We have a simple solution to get around this. Simple click the following link here and click enable: /channel/socks?server=163.172.174.115&port=1080&user=foo&pass=bar
Edit this link will work for anyone who has there telegram blocked anywhere in the world
[Werewolf grouplist]
Please note that the current grouplist is not completely ranked yet. The actually ranked groups are on top, but, currently, only few groups per language are really ranked. The others are ordered randomly.
You might not have got a ranking yet if you
1. didn't /setlink@werewolfbot (make sure that @werewolfbot answers to that command, otherwise it means it didn't go through), and/or
2. you didn't play any game since the update.
Remember you have to wait 20 minutes for the changes to have effect on the grouplist.
And, yes, this means that if you do this with a language which you played at least once last week, and where less than 10 groups are ranked, you get immediately on top.
