Type of vaccines:
Inactivated: These are vaccines made by using particles of the Covid-19 virus that were killed, making them unable to infect or replicate. Injecting particular doses of these particles serves to build immunity by helping
the body create antibodies against the dead virus.
Non-replicating viral vector: It uses a weakened, genetically modified version of a different virus to carry the Covid-19 spike protein.
Protein subunit: This vaccine uses a part of the virus to build an immune response in a targeted fashion. In this case, the part of the virus being targeted would be the spike protein.
RNA: Such vaccines use the messenger RNA (mRNA) molecules that tell cells what proteins to build. The mRNA,
in this case, is coded to tell the cells to recreate the spike protein. Once it is injected, the cells will use the mRNA’s instructions, creating copies of the spike protein, which in turn is expected to prompt the immune cells to create antibodies to fight it.
DNA: These vaccines use genetically engineered DNA molecules that, again, are coded with the antigen against which the immune response is to be built.
Nagaland Insurgency:
In the words of famous and renowned Historian Ramachandra Guha, it is an issue which is older than Kashmir issue and as Stubborn as is the Kashmir issue if not more.
What they have traditionally demanded is a Separate Naga Nation. However after the 2015 Framework agreement between G.o.I and Naga Political groups, it is generally believed that they have given up this demand. However there is no clarity as the agreement details are not in the public domain.
However recently, it has been observed that the differences over the agreement is growing between Govt and NSCN (IM). National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Isak Muivah) is a Major insurgent group which is leading the insurgency from the front.
The demands by NSCN (IM) such as Separate Constitution, Separate Flag and a Greater Nagalim by merging areas of other states that have Naga Population are making it difficult to negotiate as Govt is unwilling to give that much leeway. Moreover merging areas of other states into so called Greater Nagalim is very contentious as it will fuel the insurgencies in other states and especially in Manipur

India is heavily dependent on imported edible oils. With nearly 15 million tonnes (or nearly 68 per cent) of edible oils gets imported to meet the country’s annual requirements of about 22 million tonnes. Of the total 15 million tonnes of imports, nearly 60 per cent or about 9 million tonnes is palm oils.

India has a Huge Domestic Market. India saw High Rates of Growth during the Years of 1990s and 2000s. A Huge Middle Class came into existence due to these High Growth Rate Years.
An Important Question that can be asked in this context is: Can India Weaponize its Market in pursuance of its Foreign Policy?
The Question does demand a serious consideration. We are the 2nd largest market for Mobile Phones. In terms of Defence Imports, we are again the 2nd largest. India is the 3rd largest market for Solar Power Equipment apart from the 3rd largest consumer of Oil. Also, we provide the largest consumer base for tech giants like Facebook, Amazon etc.
If we consider China, it has had used the access to its Market as a leverage point while negotiating Foreign Policy with countries like Australia, Phillipines and U.S.A
So What can be the Conclusion? As per my understanding, we must use this unique plus point while framing the rules of engagement with other world powers. However, saying that we will weaponize this aspect would be wrong. Because if we say for example, use this against China, it may also retaliate by snapping supplies of essential Pharmaceutical Ingredients to India and other strategic raw material needed by our Domestic Industry.
So in essence, we do have an option here. But it should be employed in a manner that it maximizes our Returns while minimizing the Costs for us
Union Environment Ministry launched the National Transit Pass System (NTPS), an online system for issuing transit permits for timber, bamboo and other forest produce.
NTPS will bring ease of business and expedite issuance of transit permits for timber, bamboo and other minor forest produce without physically going to forest offices. Through mobile application e-pass will be issued for transit of forest produce.
The pilot project will be functional in Madhya Pradesh and Telangana for now. The system will be will be operational in all states by Diwali.
This will enhance seamless movement of forest produce. Transit of timber, bamboo and other forest produce is governed by various state specific acts and rules.
