if the device at least has unlockable bootloader some people willing to dedicate their time into starting with a generic source code for the SoC (likely mediatek right?) have to start piecing together all possible device specific things like a panel (LCM) driver and such which is no small task

even then it won't be pretty because if there's any quirks in the vendor modules loaded you'll have to work around them in the generic source code base layers that the drivers call etc

halium documentation itself is useless for your device since it released with android 11 and full system-image builds aren't supported after 9, read the documentation of Ubuntu Touch or whatever you want to actually port
