Mawlawī's Fatwā on Owning Shares in Palantir
I was asked the ruling of owning shares in Palantir, and I gave it.
I was surprised by the amount of pushback that those who shared that ruling with others active in the trading of securities reported, so I decided to elaborate further.

It is Ḥarām to own stock in Palantir.
Given their material support for genocide & probable participation in it, as well as their building of the nightmarish instruments of future Ẓulm that are nothing short of Dajjālic, buying and owning their stock as an investment is direct participation in their crimes.
Such people should fear the Lord & be reminded. If they do not take the reminder, they should be boycotted and shunned themselves, and treated as the collaborators they are, whether they are individuals, institutions or governments.
The questioner is a wealth manager and although the answer should be obvious, it didn't occur to me that any person claiming to be a Muslim would be this morally filthy. That being said, I'm not surprised, and it goes to show that we blame our problems on others, but we have the capacity to be our own worst enemies.
Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Yunus (the Sicilian)
The second of the four pillars of Khalil.
He was known as al-Siqilli (the Sicilian) by Ibn Arafah, as he was one of the most prominent fuqahaʾ to hail from the island.
Ibn Yunus is, in some sense, the antithesis of al-Lakhmi. Unlike al-Lakhmi, who came up with many new opinions, Ibn Yunus focused his efforts on choosing the stronger opinion (tarjih) from those existing within the madhhab.
His most famous work is known as the Jamiʿ (i.e., “The Compilation”), a distillation of the al-Mudawwanah with additions from other early Maliki sources.
Because of the precision of his tarjihat (weighings of legal opinions), the Jamiʿ was known as the “mushaf of the madhhab.”
His advice to the student of knowledge was threefold:
1. Treat your studies with great importance
2. Spend time on research
3. Be consistent
He quoted the example of Ibn al-Musayyab, one of the greatest of the tabiʿin in knowledge, who said:
“I traveled days and nights just to find one hadith.”
Ibn Yunus: And it’s only because of that (time spent consistently and diligently researching), he surpassed all his peers.
He passed away in 451 AH (1059 CE).
The immolation of sacrifices on this day are one of the emblems of the Millah, and our sacred law commands us to perform them publicly.

Day of ʿArafāt Address
There is no day in which more people have their sentences in the fire commuted.
This is a day in which people's yearning and longing for everything having to do with the Dīn of Allāh Ta'ālā increases.
It is a day in which people become heedless of heedlessness.

الحمد لله وكفى وسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى خصوصا على سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم
On this holy and sacred day, please do not forget to pray that Allāh open a door for the Ummah to come to the aid of the people of Ghazzah.
Whatever sin we committed that is blocking that, we repent from it.
If our leaders are incapable of understanding, Allāh Ta'ālā give them understanding or retire them and replace them with those who feel the pain of our brothers & sisters.
Allāh Ta'ālā destroy their antagonists, whether they be the fanatical soldiers that kill children, bomb hospitals, rape men and women and desecrate holy places, or the rabbis, priests and monks behind them that egg them on, or the old men of money & power that enable it, or those around the world who support or are happy for it, or the hypocrites who enjoy the veneer of Islam while supporting it inside, profiting off of it, so being indifferent.
Allāh Ta'ālā destroy them, their lies against Him and His prophets and His word.
He has no chosen people except those who fear Him alone.
He doesn't command to murder, theft or indecency.
He doesn't command to lying, fraud, exploitation or oppression.
He is Holy and commands to justice, Iḥsān and that you should be charitable to your kin.
Yā Allāh Ta'ālā you have already promised that Your victory and that of your messengers, عليهم السلام, will dominate.
I weep at Your threshold that You hasten your decree in favor of the children of the Ummah of Rasūlullāh ﷺ and against those who have such twisted hearts that they no longer have mercy for any living thing.
Yā Allāh, it poisons my morning & night to see it. You are the One who answers those at the end of their line when they cry out for help.
Answer me on this sacred day and show the believers the path to Your pleasure and that which will cool their hearts from Your help.
وصلى الله تعالى على رسوله سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه وسلم وآخر دعوانا أن الحمد لله ربّ العلمين.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO SECURE YOUR SACRIFICE
Today is the Mubārak Day of Tarwiyah and day after tomorrow is ʿĪd.
The properly given sacrifice is the most beloved deed of the holiest days of the year.
Don't slack on it, lest it slip through your fingers.
You will remember one day that are a slave of Allāh Ta'ālā and you only had one job.

Question: Is it true, as stated by Dr. Akram Nadawī, that abstaining from cutting or removing hair or nails for the person who wishes to offer a sacrifice for ʿĪd al-Aḍḥā, known in Arabic as the Uḍḥiyyah, is not recommended according to Mālik, and to abstain or not abstain from it is equal according to him? What does this mean practically for one following that school?

Some reminders & wisdoms:
• If you or your family’s breadwinner is doing udhiyyah, then it is recommended to not clip any hair or nails from the start of Dhul Hijjah (which could be tonight) until the slaughter is done. Thus, a good time to do those clippings is today.
• The udhiyyah acts as a cleansing of your sins and symbolizes your willingness to sacrifice. It is distinct from the pagan rituals of old as Allah ﷻ has no need of even one morsel of food coming from your sacrifice. Rather the entire act is for your own good and to strengthen your own taqwā’. Allah ﷻ says “Its meat or blood does not reach Allah but what does is your taqwā.” Surah Hajj 22:37

Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn: Impactful Charity & the Noble Intercession
When a person gives for the sake of the Lord, the charity has much more impact than its monetary value: when given with sincere intentions for the pleasure of the Lord, it can literally change people's lives.
In exploring a longer narration with regards to the Noble Station of the Greatest Intercession on the Day of Judgment, we recall the greatness of God's prophets and messengers, عليهم الصلاة والسلام, as well as mentioning some words of exoneration regarding a certain less understood aspects of their lives.
We discuss the rank of the noble companions, رضي الله عنهم, and the great love with which this Ummah will be treated on the Day of Fright and Calamities, while positioning the supreme rank amongst the creation of our prophet ﷺ, and one of the less discussed aspects of his relationship with us, especially in North America.
We also talk about certain verses from the Qaṣīdah Burdat al-Madīḥ of Būṣīrī that are oftentimes incompetently maligned by more obsessive groups, and explain why they are actually quite in line with Sunnī creed, which only becomes apparent, ironically, when a person studies Ḥadīth.

Just an important note on a company that has been labeled by many as the world's most evil company:
(1) Palantir got their start by taking advantage of unfettered defense funding during the early days of the War on Terror.
(2) Palantir represent the next stage in defense contracts. In 1993, following the secretive "Last Supper" meeting of executives and the DoD secretary, the field of over a dozen defense contractors was whiddled down to only a small handful which now possessed a relative monopoly over the industry. Companies like Palantir (e.g. Anduril, etc.) have harnessed the startup "growth at any cost" mindset which means they're more likely to experiment and eschew any sense of "norms"—it's sick to even think of that in the context of defense spending—in order to pursue greater and greater portions of defense contracts. In a rush to become the #1 defense contractor, they will have to make themselves lucrative and the fact that their investors are looking at growth irrespective of the ethics behind its driving forces means that they have become impervious to popular sentiment which usually places checks on publically-traded companies.
(3) For those of us Lord of the Rings fans, these guys decided to name their company after a symbol of omniscience which comes to be used mainly for evil. In other words, they aim to see everything regardless of whether that results in unconscionable and hazardous consequences for society and the global population.
(4) Palantir is now advertising on college campuses with ads containing the headline, "A moment of reckoning has arrived for the West (‘Skip the indoctrination’: Palantir invades elite colleges with militant recruiting campaign).

We slaughtered our sacrifice immediately after Eid prayers today, in fulfillment of two sunnahs: one being the Imām being the first to slaughter, and the other is to slaughter with one's hand.

Many communities in North America will abandon the Friday prayer completely when it coincides with the ʿĪd.
This is an incorrect practice, and according to three out of for schools, for most people, the Friday prayer is still obligatory.
In the fourth school, and the Imām must gather the Friday prayer, even though the people have a choice as to whether or not they pray.
A few years ago, I translated to a tract dealing with this matter that should elucidate the issue, and be useful for those either looking for clarity, or seeking to share it with others.

Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn: The Well of Zamzam
This week we take a look at the story of the restoration of the Sacred Masjid, its holy surrounding precincts, and the miraculous inauguration of the well of Zamzam.
Far from being a formulaic recital of a mythological history, the story was one of human resolve, sincerity, sacrifice, and steadfastness in the face of overwhelming challenges, fears, and death itself.
This timely reminder comes in the sacred 10 Days of Dhul-Ḥijjah, at a time the entire Ummah is engaged in fasting and acts of worship.
It is appropriate that we remember the patriarchs that inaugurated those holy rites and their blessed families, as mercy descends upon every gathering in which the righteous are mentioned.

Yesterday two people were shot associated with the Israeli embassy in Washington DC.
Randy Fine, Florida representative and epic Zionist fat bastard immediately jumped to blame Muslims and called it an anti-Semitic attack.
Now that some facts have come out it turns out that both murder victims were christians, albeit rabif zionists, one of whom received a long tribute from none other than Mossad for his service to the devil in the form of the IDF.
I did not kill them. I did not participate their killing in any way shape or form, nor did any other Muslim as far as I can tell. The alleged killer is a leftist Latino from Chicago, and he alone is responsible for what he did.
That being said, I do not feel sorry for those were killed, especially given that the Twitter account of the man gun down contains daily cheerleading for genocide, baby killing in other types of bloodletting mischief in the world. I do not feel sorry for the Israeli embassy, or any supporter of Zionism or the Israeli occupation.
I extend no sympathies or condolences to them, and urge them to repent from their satanic bloodletting and baby killer ways, before a day comes in which they will have to stand in front of the Lord and account for their crimes.
My anger and annoyance is with anyone who extends sympathies to those who would bomb hospitals and kill children, even if a retired soldier and now paper pusher and a remote overseas outpost participating in that effort.
Anyone who thinks this is human decency or goodness to extend sympathy to a person who spent their life advocating the killing of babies, is completely deluded.
The weaponized misapplication of fake mercy by Christian civilization, has taught generations of people to feel sorry in bad for the oppressor and shed tears for the criminal, while turning a blind eye and a hard heart to those who are still currently suffering from their crimes.
I know which side I'm on.
You can choose whichever side you like, and abide by the consequences eternally.
(It has not escaped my curiosity that this shooting happened at a convenient time for Israeli propaganda, given that they were suffering a PR low that they haven't suffered for some time. How convenient as well, that the victims were Christians, the most expendable of staff according to the Talmudic apartheid hierarchy. Perhaps just a convenient coincidence for the embassy staff...).
