This is one of the titanic political incompetencies of the religious Muslim public: the idea that you are going to be able to have a top-down solution to the rot that is not only in the state, but in civilization itself.

(Trigger warning: everyone will hate me after this post. Don't look at who's saying it, but what's being said.)

Although it's true that a bad government can ruin a country, a good one cannot make it prosper alone.

This is why the IK government was a complete debacle. I give the man the benefit of the doubt that his intentions were good: however he had to staff his entire government with old military dictatorship carryovers precisely because he didn't have a nation who is ready to implement his vision, in whatever idealized form it may have been.

Egypt also had a pious man at its helm. I personally don't think he was a very good politician despite my reverence for him as a human being and as a believer. However, even if he was a good politician, what can you do when the entire state infrastructure, economy, regional and local politics of your country are all staffed and stuffed only with unscrupulous and immoral people?

This is one of the reasons it took Nūr al-Dīn Zangī both the generation before him, and the generation after him in order to see his plan come to fruition.

This is why there was such a crucial role to be played by scholars who prepared generations of functionaries, courtiers, statesmen, commanders, bureaucrats, and other trustworthy people to run the state so that they could be ready for when Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn was vouch saved the Divine gift of victory.

This is also why even though his dynasty failed to produce another good ruler, both it and the Mamlūks after them were able to run a stable state.

Individual Egyptians can be remarkably pious and learned people, but as a society so many decades have been invested in making sure that no expression of communal piety reaches beyond a certain point, and the chaos that is everyday life in Cairo is a testament to that.

If you think I'm just being racist against Egyptians, then know that the same chaos exists in Pakistan and most other countries in the Muslim world.

When you have rule by a minority that despises its populous, which is exactly what was left behind by design in post-colonial Muslim countries, this will always be the dynamic; the military is the custodian of the colonial mandate, and they are more instrumental in putting down their own people than they are in facing external threats.

One good leader cannot fix such a problem.

Requires a collaboration of many different talented individuals, with institutions that are ready to go, to rise to the challenges of running a state.

What's the point if the Mahdī himself comes عليه السلام, and all of his people either join the Dajjāl or remain neutral and keep their heads down hoping to benefit from the aftermath without doing any of the heavy lifting?

The Muslim community in America is a microcosm of this pathetic state; Masjid boards who despise their congregations and don't care for them, be the youth, old people, converts, or people in need.

All of our leaders, preachers, and centers of influence can hardly be bothered to do anything without being paid ridiculous honoraria, or do anything except for something that is exposed to celebrity, fame, or other means of making money; there are exceptions, but they are few and far between.

Far from being an act of oppression to the people, it is a perfect reflection of their state: if they met a sincere man who is telling them what to do to be successful, he would be the most despised amongst them, thus is the rot of their state that makes bad leaders and not the other way around.

In short, we have to start from the grassroots: plan b is to stick to plan a, as the last of this Ummah will not be rectified except through that which rectified the first of it.

Matn Ibn ʿĀshir: The Tripartite Division of the Dīn

https://youtu.be/PvR31T2OnZw

Ibn ʿĀshir divides the Dīn into three broad categories of understanding and practice.

Namely, how it manifests on the physical limbs in terms of commandments, prohibitions, permissions, and ambivalence toward speech, actions, and states. This is referred to as Islām in this division, and its formal study is known as Fiqh. Note that the word Islam has a general meaning and a specific meaning, the general meaning being a synonym for the word Dīn, whereas the specific meaning that of the sacred law.

The next division is how it manifests in one's conception of oneself, Divinity, prophethood, eschatology, salvation, and cosmology. This is referred to as Īmān and its formal study is known as ʿAqīdah.

Finally, the third division is how the Dīn manifest itself in the heart. This is referred to in this division as Iḥsān, the formal study of which is called Taṣawwuf or Tazkiyah.

This lesson will expound on these ideas, what their origins are, as well as some practical ramifications of them.

It will also highlight the yhe necessity of this division in order to be able to have a grasp on what is otherwise an ocean of knowledge and practice in which one can drown instead of being able to make it to their destination with Allāh.

Your Weapon Against Cowardice & the Dajjāl

Many people covet leadership, however they have a fatal flaw inside of them that disqualifies them from being leaders: their cowardice.

The Sunnah provides many tools for a person to be able to conquer their cowardice by removing the harms that they fear from doing what's right.

If I lived in any part of Dār al-Islām, under the blessed aural umbrella of the Adhān, I would have considered it an honor.

When my classmates were dreaming about jobs at Delloite & med school, I was in Syria, Egypt, Mauritania, Jordon, Pakistan & many other Muslim countries looking for scholars, gatherings of Dhikr & Masājid.

Don't come at me with this speech that resembles that of the hypocrites.

I was born here & this is my qawm, so I live amongst them.

But I don't consider living in Syria, or any other Muslim land anything but an honor.

As far as I'm concerned if you do, you have an ʿaqīdah problem.

I have no doubt that the blessed people of Ghazzah are the only people who are truly free in this world.

Despite being killed in front of everyone's eyes in a way that most countries won't even tolerate abusing animals, they not only keep their dignity, but they love what is good for others.

Blessing people of Ghazzah, I have no doubt that this victory for the people of Syria is one of the first fruits of the tree that was watered by your sacrifice.

The messenger of Allāh ﷺ said none of you shall complete faith until they love for their brother what they love for themselves.

May this love of yours be repaid many times over in both worlds.

May the people of Shām come soon to your aid, and crash the devils and monsters who killed your children, defiled your places of worship, and attacked your hospitals.

Wow that was fast.

Now even the most partisan sectarian voices against the Syrian people are coming out as if they never stood like an iron wall for Bashshār.

I have done nothing for Syria but state the obvious and show love for my refugee brothers whenever I could.

The Ulamā Rabbāniyyūn and Mujāhidūn dug deep in their hearts and asked Allāh before walking out on the field with their hearts in their hands ready to give everything for our Beloved Allāh Ta'ālā and His messenger ﷺ.

I advise them and you now to beware of those who wait till all is said and done, then roll up their sleeves & come to "offer help."

After cussing out those who left their homes & those who helped them, and judging them all for their mistakes as if they are gods, and there is no god, but Allāh.

The mistakes of the righteous trying to be steadfast in God's way are more virtuous than the "perfection" of petty masturbators sitting on the sidelines, never ruining the creases on their clothes, but judging all.

Not every advice and correction is given like that, but many are and Allāh Ta'ālā knows the rectifier from the spoiler.

Don't let yourself get dragged by your ego into the latter group.

With the iterative cycles of events and reactions becoming shorter and shorter, people need to get rid of their tolerance for the platforming and a glorification of outsiders who pay lip service to our cause.

It needs to be replaced by the centering of voices of authority from within our community. I mean that as a Muslim American.

It's great that someone from the Jewish community, the Democratic or Republican Party, a pastor, or an academic has sympathy for us. Let their statements be like a snip of parsley on the already cooked and completed dish. Otherwise if you make it your main course, you're eating Ḥarām nothing good will ever come from that.

They all hate you in their own unique and special ways, with varying levels of politeness and masking. None of them care for your well-being. And why should they? That's your job.

While we have deep and sincere worry for our brothers and sisters oppressed overseas, make sure your own place of worship isn't a co-opted police state in which the remembrance of God and the teachings of His messenger ﷺ are silenced in the favor of platitudes to politicians, the distraction of honorarium-driven Islamotainers and Islamovangelists, and interfaith events devoid of any genuine sharing of our faith, but concentrically masturbatory displays with Rabbis and Pastors actively fundraising for the IDF.

Madeburg Massacre: A Word of Caution

There once was a disgruntled Byzantine Commander in Sicily named Euphemio.

He petitioned the Aghlabī court in Tunis to conquer the island, offering information and support in the project because of a grievance he had.

This was the inauguration of 250 years of Muslim rule in Sicily, the most splendid period of its history, when Palermo went from a backwater town even for Sicilian purposes, to the second most populous city in all of Europe.

Having had the chance to visit Sicily, our first hotel that we stayed in was in a district called Isolla delle Femmine, seeming to translate as “Island of the Females.”

I asked our tour guide what the story was behind such a strange name. He said, jokingly, that the locals say that it is the island where women who are unfaithful are locked up, to which the women reply, do you know the name of the place where the unfaithful men are locked up? It's called Sicily.” I'm going to assume that this joke found its origins outside of Islamic rule.

Then, in seriousness, he said that he believed that it was originally Isola de Euphemio, as the Muslim commanders locked him up on that island after arriving, because they understood that a man who can betray his own people, can betray anyone.

It is said, that even Genghis Khan would take information from traitors, and execute them after they outlive their usefulness, having a similar sensibility. Whatever one wishes to say about him, he wasn't a man who lacked political acumen.

This bizarre fascination that the post Christian crusaders of Europe have with anyone and anything anti-Islām has caused them to cultivate a caste of dubious characters, all of whom seem to be so unscrupulous as to be a liability. This is how the Dutch people were made fools by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who they made a minister of state, only to find out that she lied about her entire sob story for immigration purposes, including many of her claimed grievances against Islam and Muslims. But it seems like one person's trash is another person's treasure, so the neoconservative Bush administration offered her seemingly free immigration, so she could continue pedaling her dishonesties, showing loyalty neither to her own people, nor to America, not seeing the harm that she already perpetrated on the Dutch in the same scam.

And today, we deal with the tragic aftermath of a Saudi atheist Zionist freak show of a man, who showed no gratitude or loyalty to the German people for giving him refuge. They gave him without question because he fulfilled for them a fantasy that they had about finally triumphing against the enemy, whose enmity has been made a dogmatically cemented part of their identity.

Look what it cost them.

Matn Ibn ʿĀshir: A Kalāmic Understanding of Prophethood & the Testification of Faith

This lesson from Ibn ʿĀshir's al-Murshid al-Muʿīn deals with a rational approach to understanding what is necessary for prophets عليهم السلام, what is impossible for them, and what is possible for them them, followed by a discussion of the proofs for all of those points.

We end the lesson by taking a look at the deeper realities of the testification of faith and it's profundity, while appreciating why it is that the Ummah of Rasūlullāh ﷺ occupies itself with it in its every breath.

I see it very differently.

I see an entire order which was the fruit of the colonization and genocide of the civilized parts of the Muslim world, which had many different players that argued about many different things, but all of which seems to have a curious consensus that under no circumstance can Muslims have a place of dignity in the world order.

I see that the Arabs, in the face of being the first target in this order, prioritized, precisely because it's understood that they carry the civilizational crown of Islām with them, even if they are Christians or Jews, have gone through a disproportionate amount of dehumanization, violence, economic targeting and degenerate social engineering carried out at the barrels of automatic weapons and ærial bombardment.

Despite that, they still hold on to faith, they still hold on to their language, and they still hold on to their traditions, as best as a person can be humanly expected to hold on.

Sure individuals have buckled under pressure that would crush Titans, and there's a lot of work to do.

However, given the circumstances, and the fact that every other non-Farangī culture and civilization has basically folded in front of them, I feel like they're survival is nothing short of a miracle, and the special help of Divine Intervention.

The companions, Allāh Ta'ālā be pleased with them, spread to all of the known civilized parts of the world that they conquered. In this era, the sacrifices of the most noble sons of the Arabs will be returned by those nations who found salvation through them, and through their progeny that they left behind and dispersed throughout the earth.

Allāh Ta'ālā will show virtuous amongst all nations the truth of the message of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and facilitate the way for their entry into submission to the Lord.

He will then show drunkard satanic feckless materialistic and petty pig eaters all of those things that they feared from the little sand people that they despised so much and didn't consider even human.

Look at how humble they are.

The pent up emotions of decades, the adrenaline of battle, and the anger of a thousand injustices, all controlled and humbled in front of the Holy Name of God, taking their shoes off and entering into His Mubārak house.

Exuberance tempered by humility.

You will find no one like the slaves Allāh & the followers of Sayyidnā Muḥammad ﷺ in this creation.

This is an Imām from Jersey named Mohamed Moussa.

At 5:13 he starts to explain why he thinks the Ahl al-Kitāb get salvation after Rasūlullāh ﷺ and his Mubārak message.

It is not a difference of opinion, but clear Zandaqah.

He and any who so clearly state what he stated are Zindīqs.

To pray behind them is impermissible.

But this is the level of malpractice in Muslim institutions in the United States.

Not only is he a popular Imām kept in place by the third world bureaucracies that run masājid, funny enough, he's also one of the four members of Islamic Relief USA 's committee on Zakāt policies, while also, like another fellow member, actually being a contractor for IR.

Don't say that I'm causing fitnah by this post. The actual fitnah isn't allowing such a dumpster fire of a situation to become the status quo in the first place.

The du'ā that we made for the people of Aleppo in the dark hour has been answered by the grace of the Lord.

Silence is food for the soul. However the path of our master Muhammad ﷺ one of moderation.

Cutting yourself off from your parents is unnatural, and claiming a father other than yours is dehumanizing, yet people treat it as if it's not a big deal, only to their own detriment.

Upon reflection it should be no surprise that the messenger of Allāh ﷺ spoke against it so harshly...
