Drum therapy is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. We encourage guests to join and connect not only with their own selves and emotions, but to also connect with a group of people possibly facing similar challenges in life. Group drumming alleviates isolation and alienation. No experience is necessary!

Moshaereh is a Persian poetry game where one player recites a verse of poetry (modern or classic). The next player is required to recite a poem starting with the last letter of the first player’s poetic verse.

Mindful Living Workshop

The workshop will consist of two parts, each lasting an hour. The first part will be led by Mahtab Shariat, a certified holistic nutrition health coach with a bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science.

Her session, titled "Eat Mindfully for Health and Happiness" will focus on healthy eating habits and their impact on leading a healthy life.

The second part will be led by Jalal Kimia and will focus on the effects of music on our lives. The session will begin with a ten minutes talk, followed by a drum circle that will focus on meditation through rhythm.

Both talks will be in Persian. Maximum of 20 participants.

Our April Shabeh Shameh Mahali will be catered by fabulous 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐥.
The menu is as follows: Appetizer- Zeytoon Parvandeh and Mirzaghasemi

Narratives of Pain: Healing through stories

Join us for virtual Narratives of Pain, led by Valia Shoja, MA. Narratives of Pain is a community storytelling experience aimed at individual and collective healing.

By sharing your experience in a safe and confidential setting, you can gain insight from learning from other’s experiences, recognizing distress and its effects, and learning health coping strategies for dealing with traumatic events.
