SPX just broke support thus I’m expecting BTC to follow and have a further down.
BTC mimics SPX at the moment but it mimics by about 10X times the drop size. Capital preservation and looking for short entry should be my focus / risky knives catching for 2-5% gain intermittently is fine.

These are the important news stories for today:
1️⃣ The deadline for Mt. Gox creditors to register and file claims has been extended for another month, and the distribution deadline has been pushed from September 30 to October 31. The extension may be the last one.
2️⃣ Silvergate Capital Corporation is planning to voluntarily liquidate Silvergate Bank and wind down its operations in response to recent industry and regulatory developments. The bank’s wind-down and liquidation plan includes full repayment of all deposits.
3️⃣ Coinbase has launched a new “wallet as a service” business that enables enterprises to offer customised in-app Web3 wallets for their customers. This will provide brands with control over end-to-end product experiences, reduce implementation cost and complexity, and improve security while reducing risks.
4️⃣ According to CFTC Chair Rostin Behnam, Ethereum and most stablecoins are considered commodities by the regulator as long as there is no new law that could change their classification, despite SEC Chair Gary Gensler’s stance that every crypto besides Bitcoin is a security.
5️⃣ U.S. President Joe Biden’s budget proposal is expected to double capital gains tax for certain investors and clamp down on a tax loss harvesting loophole used by crypto investors. The administration plans to raise up to $24 billion by subjecting crypto assets to wash-trading rules and nearly doubling the capital gains tax rate to 39.6% on long-term investments for investors earning at least $1 million.
Closing it here for 2% loss.
