My thougts and market analysis after SEC FUD:
- If the short-term outlook for Bitcoin (BTC) is bullish and it has enough momentum, it should maintain support around 30.0k in the next few H4 candles, indicating a deviation from the recent move.
- However, if BTC fails to defend this level, it would signal the first loss of the H4 trend within the D1 uptrend. In such a case, it would be advisable to reduce risk, gather resources for a potential retest of the D1 trend at lower levels, or wait for the next H4 trend to reclaim.
- There's no need to overanalyze things like whether all the lows were taken on all exchanges. After a new significant move, if a wick (wick indicating a brief dip in price) appears, it should be defended, along with prior support levels. Otherwise, it may indicate a lack of short-term momentum, which is normal after a +15% H4 trend at yearly highs. BTC doesn't necessarily have to break now; it could retest lower levels within the D1 trend and still maintain a bullish outlook.
- To summarize the focus areas:
1. Can BTC maintain support above the 29.8-30.0k range in the next H4 candles?
2. Can BTC hold support and reclaim the H4 trend?
3. What are the lower levels to watch if the above conditions are not met? Specifically, focus on gaps related to the H4 100 MA and H4 200 EMA around 28.3-28.6k.
4. Can ETHBTC break the downtrend on the H4 timeframe?
5. If the scenario is bullish and BTC maintains support, are there any altcoins performing exceptionally well? These would be the ones to focus on for long positions.
6. If the short-term scenario is bearish and BTC fails to hold 30k and flip the H4 trend resistance, are there any altcoins performing particularly poorly? These would be the ones to focus on for short positions.
I see 30450-30500 as a risk proxy for the entire market. Above there I will consider longs, below it I will
consider shorts.
We got alot of confluence sitting there currently. Daily/Weekly Open, .618 from the dump, both Session and Weekly
VWAPs.
The yellow diagonal is the pennant and the orange line is the mid range
All in all a busy area and for any considerably recovery to be made we got to trade above those.
Currently just chilling and will let this all play out over the weekend. I think we will see some volatility but it should
slowly stabilize over the weekend.
Keep an eye on those coins I mentioned. To summarize:
• 29.5-31K BTC range. 30450-30500 important.
• MATIC, SOL & ADA may see weakness due to Celsius selling.
• BCH might have topped if BC doesn't recover.
