The cost of producing Bitcoin now exceeds its market price on average, raising serious questions about the sustainability of mining operations under these conditions. A miner capitulation now doesn’t necessarily signal market weakness; instead, it might be part of a larger, strategic realignment. Comparing this cycle to previous ones may no longer be relevant, as the forces driving the market have evolved.
