IDF: Weapons Embedded in Civilian Homes Located During Targeted Raids in Southern Lebanon

The 8th Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, have been conducting limited, localized, targeted ground raids in southern Lebanon over the last week. The troops have eliminated dozens of terrorists together with the IAF, including a Hezbollah battalion commander. Additionally, the troops located and confiscated numerous weapons, including Kornet missiles, grenades, and explosive devices hidden inside civilian homes and underground infrastructure.

The troops operated in dense, thicketed terrain, neutralizing and dismantling strategic military sites, including observation equipment and posts. They also conducted a raid on Hezbollah's regional command and control center used to direct attacks and rocket fire against Israeli communities.

The IAF eliminated Hussain Abd Al-Haleem Harb, Hezbollah’s Khiam region Commander, who directed and executed many rocket attacks against communities in the Galilee, and against the area of Metula specifically.

IDF soldiers continue operational activity in southern Lebanon.
Over the past day, the forces directed several aerial strikes, during which a number of Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated after being identified firing rockets yesterday (Tuesday) at northern Israel. Also eliminated in these strikes were terrorists who were identified operating in the area.

Over the past day, the IAF struck approximately 70 terror targets belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza, including terrorist cells, terror infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities, missile launchers, and additional terror infrastructure.

In Gaza, IDF troops continue operational activity in Jabalia, and have eliminated approximately dozens of terrorists over the past day.
During the operations, the ground-troops directed an aerial strike on Hamas terrorists who intended to attack IDF soldiers.

Over the past day, IDF troops continued precise, intelligence-based operational activity in Rafah. During the operational activity, they eliminated a number of terrorists, including an armed terrorist who exited a tunnel shaft inside a structure. They also located a large amount of weaponry, including RPG missiles, explosives, and anti-tank missiles.

IDF: A short while ago, the IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike on weapons storage facilities used by Hezbollah's munitions unit in the area of Al Qusayr in Syria.

Hezbollah's munitions unit is responsible for the storage of weapons in Lebanon and has recently expanded its activities into Syria in the area of Al Qusayr, near the Syria-Lebanon border. This is a further example of Hezbollah establishing logistical infrastructure to transfer weapons from Syria to Lebanon through smuggling routes.

Hezbollah, with the support of the Syrian regime, continues to endanger the safety of civilians by establishing its terrorist infrastructure within civilian areas.

IDF: Hezbollah Underground Terrorist Infrastructure Was Destroyed in Southern Lebanon

The troops of the 646th Brigade, under the command of the 146th Division, are conducting limited, localized, targeted ground raids based on precise intelligence in southern Lebanon.

So far, the troops have destroyed dozens of military structures and assembly sites belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization, eliminated terrorists with guidance of Israeli Air Force aircraft, and located numerous weapons and terrorist infrastructure.

Underground, beneath thicketed and mountainous terrain, the brigade's troops located an extensive underground infrastructure extending approximately 70 meters. During searches along the tunnel route, a room, weapons and supplies for prolonged stay were located.

In another raid, an additional underground infrastructure was located, containing living quarters and a stockpile of weapons.

At the end of the activity, the troops destroyed the underground infrastructure and confistaced the weapons.
