IDF: The IDF is continuing preparations for the next stage of the war – including ground operations

In recent days, plans have been approved to expand operational activities. IDF units, in both regular and reserve service, are deployed in the field and conducting training exercises in accordance with the approved operational plans.

Incoming Commander of the Nahal Brigade, LTC Yair Zuckerman:
“The Nahal Brigade has been training in recent days and is ready for any mission. We are facing the enemy with determination, looking into the enemy’s eyes and telling them ‘no more’. ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ (the people of Israel live), and we represent this generation, we will prevail.”

Commander of the 188th Armored Brigade, LTC Or Volozhinsky:
“Even now at this very moment, soldiers of the 188th Brigade are in the area near the Gaza Strip. We will achieve what is required with the spirit of battle and determination in order to bring security to our people for many years to come.”

IDF: Continuous rocket fire towards Israel from Gaza, IDF responds against military target

Earlier tonight, three rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. In response, a short while ago, an IDF tank struck a military post belonging to the Hamas terror organization in the Gaza Strip.
Later on, two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, one of which was intercepted by the Iron Dome Aerial Defense System.
A few minutes ago, another siren sounded in the area, details to follow.

IDF: IDF troops apprehended an assailant suspected of an attempted car- ramming attack adjacent to Ein Mabu'a

Following a report received regarding a car-ramming incident, an initial inquiry of the suspect and of the incident suggest that this was an attempted terror attack.

The assailant accelerated towards a number of IDF soldiers adjacent to the Ein Mabu'a spring, Southeast of Ramallah, and hit several other vehicles. No IDF injuries were reported.

The suspect was apprehended and has been transferred to security forces for further questioning.

IDF: IDF troops thwart a car-ramming attack during IDF operational activity in Bir Nabala

Tonight, during IDF operational activity in the village of Bir Nabala, south of Ramallah, IDF soldiers set up a checkpoint along a road in the area in order to allow additional troops to operate in the area without traffic.
IDF soldiers at the checkpoint spotted a vehicle stopping at the checkpoint and suddenly accelerating towards another group of soldiers operating in the area, in a way that endangered the lives of the soldiers.
The soldiers responded with fire in order to thwart the threat.
No IDF injuries were reported.
