IDF: A short while ago, a rocket was launched toward an IDF UAV in the area of the border with Lebanon.
The IDF Aerial Defense Array intercepted the rocket, and the aircraft was not damaged.
In response, IDF aircraft struck the military compound from which the rocket was launched.

Furthermore, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah military infrastructure and observation equipment a short while ago, in response to the shooting incidents toward Israeli territory today.

Additionally, an IDF soldier was severely injured earlier today after he was hit by an anti-tank missile in the Bar'am area. The soldier was evacuated to hospital. Two additional soldiers were lightly injured and received medical treatment at the scene. Their families have been notified.

IDF fighter jets killed Muhamad Qatmash, the Deputy Head of Hamas' Artillery Array in the Gaza Strip, who was responsible for artillery operations in Hamas' Central Brigade in the Gaza Strip. The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) of the Ministry of Defense and the IDF are announcing the expansion of the state-funded evacuation plan to additional communities in northern Israel

The addition of the communities was approved by Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant. A short while ago, the Northern Command updated the heads of the local authorities on to the decision. The plan will be implemented by the heads of the local municipalities, the Ministry of Interior and the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) of the Ministry of Defense.

The 14 communities added to the plan are: Snir, Dan, Beit Hillel, She'ar Yashuv, Hagoshrim, Liman, Matzuva, Eylon, Goren, Gornot HaGalil, Even Menachem, Sasa, Tziv'on and Ramot Naftali.

In a joint IDF and ISA counterterrorism activity a short while ago, the IDF conducted an aerial strike on a terror compound belonging to the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror operatives that were responsible for several terror attacks over the last months, and were organizing an additional imminent terror attack.

The terrorist cell also carried out a terror attack on October 14th in the area of the security fence, where an explosive device was detonated by a cellular activation of terror forces who arrived at the scene. No injuries were reported.

Intel was recently received which indicated that the terrorists, that were neutralized, were organizing an imminent terror attack. The mosque was used by the terrorists as a command center to plan the attacks and as a base for their execution.
