IDF: Following the alerts concerning a hostile aerial infiltration into northern Israel, a number of launches were identified from Lebanon toward Israeli territory.
Earlier today, a launch was also identified from Lebanon toward Malkia.
The IDF struck the sources of the fire.

Revealed in ISA investigation: Ahmad Kahalot, the Director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip, admits that Hamas has turned hospitals into military facilities under their control: "I was recruited to Hamas in 2010 with the rank of Brigadier General. There are employees in the hospital who are military operatives of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades - doctors, nurses, paramedics, clerks, and staff members״.
Kahalot was apprehended on December 12th at the Kamal Adwan Hospital by the IDF and ISA.
During the ISA interrogation, Ahmad Kahalot describes how Hamas uses hospitals for military purposes, including hiding its operatives, carrying out military activity, moving around Hamas members, and even bringing a captured soldier to the hospital.

"They hide in hospitals because for them a hospital is a safe place. They won't be targeted when they are inside a hospital".
”I know 16 employees in the hospital - doctor, nurse, paramedic, or clerks… who also have different positions in al-Qassam”.
"There are offices where the Hamas leader and two of the senior officials were. There’s a place where the soldier was in (the kidnapped soldier). There’s a place for the interrogators, internal security, and special security. All of them have private telephone lines inside the hospital".
”They [Hamas] have a private ambulance, even it color and the way it’s painted are different, and it doesn’t have a license plate. They used it to transport the soldier [kidnapped] and transport bodies… It didn’t assist us with transporting the injured”.
”I begged him to take someone to the Indonesian Hospital, take to Shifa [hospital], but he would refused. His mission is more important".
"The leaders of Hamas are cowards. They left us in the field while they hide in secret places… They have destroyed us".

IDF: Following the alerts concerning a hostile aerial infiltration into northern Israel, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon toward Israeli territory. The alerts regarding rockets and missiles were activated due to the danger of falling shrapnel from the interceptor.
A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon, including terrorist infrastructure, military compounds, a weapons storage facility, and launch posts.

IDF: Explosives, Missiles, and Rockets – Troops from the 261st Battalion Combat Team of the 162nd Division Identified Weapons Production Sites and a Large Stockpile of Weapons
As part of the operations of troops from the 162 Division in the areas of Al-Atatra and Jabalya, weapons production sites and a storage facility containing a large stockpile of armaments were uncovered. The soldiers located missiles, rockets, and explosives inside a building.
During the operation, the soldiers conducted targeted raids on the residences of terror operatives where they located weapons, maps of significant tunnel routes and intelligence findings.
While scanning a building, a rocket lathe was discovered with hundreds of missiles and a truck intended for their transportation to launchers.
In recent weeks, the battalion's soldiers carried out ambushes and eliminated dozens of terrorists in the area. Yesterday, in one of the battles, SGM (res.) Daniel Yaakov Ben Harush was killed in action. After the battle, his team continued fighting and carrying out their missions in the area.

IDF: A short while ago, one launch was identified from Lebanon toward Metula that fell in an open area. The IDF struck the sources of the fire.
Earlier today, IDF artillery struck a number of areas in Lebanon.
IDF: The IDF is continuing to operate against Hamas terrorist infrastructure and operatives in the Gaza Strip; Terrorist cells were eliminated and weapons located, including explosive devices inside a medical clinic in Shejaiya
Over the past day, IDF troops conducted targeted raids on terror targets in Khan Yunis, during which IDF troops identified a terrorist who launched anti-tank RPG missiles at them. The troops responded with fire and killed the terrorists. The troops also located a weapons storage facility containing explosive devices, weapons, grenades, and military vests.
Moreover, IDF troops identified an explosive device planted in a medical clinic in Shejaiya, near a school. IDF troops who operated in Shejaiya also located numerous weapons, including AK-47s, vests, and cartridges.
Furthermore, IDF troops destroyed a tunnel shaft near the coastline in the southern Gaza Strip. Following the explosion of the shaft, the troops identified a large number of terrorists fleeing the area and entering a compound on the coastline. An IAF fighter jet struck the building.
The Israeli Navy is continuing to strike terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including compounds where terror operatives and vessels used by Hamas for its military activity were located. The Israeli Navy is also continuing to carry out strikes in order to assist the ground troops in the Gaza Strip.

IDF: A short while ago, a number of launches from Syria toward Israel were identified. The launches fell in open areas. An alert was activated concerning the open areas on the Home Front Command app.

The IDF and ISA eliminated Subhi Ferwana, a prominent Hamas financier involved in transferring tens of millions of dollars to the Hamas terrorist organization’s military wing
In a targeted operation in the middle of Rafah in the Gaza Strip, Subhi Ferwana was eliminated by an IAF fighter jet directed by IDF and ISA intelligence. Ferwana was a prominent financier who, together with his brother, was involved in the transfer of tens of millions of dollars to the Hamas terrorist organization and its military wing in the Gaza Strip through their money exchange company, “Hamsat”, over the past few years.
Hamas' military wing depends on these funds transferred to them via financiers and its capabilities are consequently diminished without them. Ferwana was one of the most prominent financiers and was able to transfer funds to Hamas’ military wing as required for war.
Ferwana transferred funds to Hamas’ military wing during the war and was aware that these funds would be vital for continuing the wing’s ability to fight. The funds were used - among other things - for intensification of military forces, the payment of terrorists’ salaries during the war, and to finance Hamas' war activities.
Hamas uses financiers in order to receive the funds that are transferred to the terrorist organization from Iran and various fundraising sources abroad. The money changers carry out the transfers using the netting and money laundering method, while evading the international financial system.
The IDF, ISA, and other security forces will continue their efforts to dismantle Hamas’ funding lifeline.

IDF: A Nukhba terrorist and a terrorist who participated in the October 7th massacre were detained at a school in Rimal in Gaza City and were interrogated by Unit 504
Last Friday, an operation conducted by the 401st Brigade at the Alma'atsam in Allah School in Rimal resulted in the elimination of numerous terrorists. Additionally, Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists were detained. The terrorists, including a member of the Nukhba Forces and another terrorist involved in the massacre, were transferred for investigation by Unit 504 of the Intelligence Division.

IDF: Hezbollah fires at Israel from areas near UN and Lebanese Armed Forces posts
Since October 7th, the Hezbollah terrorist organization has carried out hundreds of attacks on Israel, including rocket, anti-tank missile and UAV attacks on communities and military positions in northern Israel. To date, five Israeli civilians have been killed in these attacks and 80,000 civilians in northern Israel have evacuated their homes.
By continuing to operate and fire projectiles and UAVs from southern Lebanon at Israel, Hezbollah is violating UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Moreover, Hezbollah has carried out many of these attacks from areas near UN positions and Lebanese Armed Forces compounds. This demonstrates Hezbollah’s blatant abuse of the international and national institutions responsible for security in southern Lebanon.
While Hezbollah continues to violate UNSCR 1701, the IDF will continue to defend Israel's northern border from any threat.
