IDF: The 162nd Division Led by the 401st Brigade Combat Team is Continuing to Operate in Eastern Rafah
On monday night, the soldiers of the 162nd conducted targeted activity in eastern Rafah. Prior to the entry of the forces, fighter aircraft began coordinated and timed strikes, in which about 100 designated targets were struck from the air.
The soldiers of the 401st brigade combat team gained operational control over the Rafah crossing.
The soldiers began targeted operations on the terrorist infrastructure surrounding the Gazan side of the Rafah crossing and conducted operational raids on suspicious buildings in the area from which Hamas terrorists fired at our forces.
During the operation, the soldiers eliminated about 30 terrorists and destroyed large amounts of terrorist infrastructure in the region.
As part of the operational raids conducted by the soldiers, Israeli air force aircraft struck targets in close cooperation with the ground forces.

IDF: The Re-opening of the Kerem Shalom Crossing and the Continuation of Humanitarian Aid Airdrops into the Gaza Strip
The IDF, via the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), continues its efforts to facilitate the entry of trucks containing humanitarian aid, including food, water and medical supplies, to Gazan residents.
As part of this effort, today (Wednesday), the Kerem Shalom Crossing was re-opened for the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. This follows its closure due to rocket fire by the Hamas terrorist organization toward the area of the crossing yesterday.

IDF: A short while ago, IDF artillery and fighter jets struck over 20 Hezbollah terror targets in the area of Ramyeh in southern Lebanon, including military structures, and terrorist infrastructure. During the strikes, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapon storage facilities in the area.
In addition, IAF fighter jets struck a Hezbollah military structure and terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Marwahin and Kfarkela in southern Lebanon a short while ago.

IDF: Overnight (Tuesday) IAF fighter jets struck Hezbollah military compounds in the areas of Kfarkela, Ayta ash Shab, Khiam, and Maroun El Ras, as well as terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Houla and Aitaroun in southern Lebanon.
In addition, the IDF struck overnight in order to remove a threat in the areas of Tayr Harfa and Jibbain.

IDF: Over 160,000 Liters of Fuel and Diesel, Hundreds of Pallets of Humanitarian Aid via the Floating Pier, and over 1,000 Humanitarian Aid Trucks through the Erez and Kerem Shalom Crossings; COGAT Continues its Efforts to Increase Humanitarian Aid Entering into the Gaza Strip
The IDF, via the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), continues its efforts to facilitate the passage of hundreds of trucks containing food, water, medical supplies and shelter equipment for the residents of Gaza. This week, 1,050 humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom Crossing of the Ministry of Defense’s Land Crossings Authority and the Erez Crossing, following security checks.
This week, 204 flour trucks were transferred on behalf of the World Food Program (WFP) organization in order to provide supplies to the organization’s bakery activities throughout the Gaza Strip. In addition, as part of the operation of essential humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, including hospitals and shelters, 162,000 liters of fuel and diesel were transferred. Alongside this, 120 Jordanian trucks containing humanitarian aid were also transferred to the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, this week hundreds of tents purchased by the State of Israel and intended for the humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi were brought through the Kerem Shalom Crossing as part of the responsive plan for the population evacuating from the Rafah area to the humanitarian areas.
In addition, following extensive preparations by the IDF, COGAT and the Ministry of Defense, U.S. CENTCOM completed the construction of a floating pier to enable the transfer of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Since the pier began operating in the last two days, hundreds of pallets of humanitarian aid were transferred for distribution in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF will continue its efforts to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea in accordance with international law.

IDF: The IDF and ISA rescued the body of the hostage Ron Benjamin
The body of the hostage Ron Benjamin was rescued during a joint IDF and ISA operation.
Based on verified intelligence in our possession, Ron Benjamin was murdered during the October 7th Massacre at the Mefalsim Intersection, and his body was abducted to Gaza by Hamas terrorists.
His body was rescued along with the bodies of Yitzhak Gelernter, Shani Louk, and Amit Buskila during a joint IDF and ISA operation, based on precise ISA intelligence obtained during the interrogations of terrorists who were apprehended in the Gaza Strip, as well as intelligence from IDF Intelligence Directorate's Headquarters for the Hostages and Missing Persons.
Following an identification procedure carried out by medical officials at the Israeli National Forensic Institute and the Israel Police, IDF representatives notified the family today. The IDF and ISA send their heartfelt condolences to the family.
The IDF and ISA continue, even at this time, to deploy all operational and intelligence means and to take operational risks in order to accomplish the supreme national task of bringing back all the hostages.
IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in northern Israel regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration, the incidents concluded and no injuries or damages were reported. Additionally, an explosive drone fell in the area of Yiftach earlier today. No injuries were reported.

Earlier today, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites and military compounds in the areas of Ayta ash Shab, Odaisseh, Aitaroun, and Ramyeh in southern Lebanon.

IDF: The IDF is conducting a precise counterterrorism operation in specific areas of eastern Rafah; Terrorists were eliminated and underground shafts and infrastructure were located in different areas
IDF ground troops are continuing the precise counterterrorism operation based on IDF and ISA intelligence to eliminate Hamas terrorists and dismantle Hamas terrorist infrastructure within specific areas of eastern Rafah.
During several encounters over the past day, IDF troops eliminated terrorists and uncovered terrorist infrastructure, as well as underground shafts in several locations in the eastern Rafah area. The troops have started the process of dismantling the terrorist infrastructure and underground shafts.
In one incident, IDF troops identified and eliminated a terrorist armed with an RPG.
Simultaneously, based on intelligence about terrorists operating in the area, IDF troops are conducting targeted raids on the Gazan side of the Rafah Crossing in the eastern part of Rafah.
Throughout the past day, IAF fighter jets and aircraft struck over 100 terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including military structures, observation posts, launch posts and additional military infrastructure.

IDF: In accordance with the situational assessment, it was decided that no agricultural work should be carried out today (Wednesday) near the security fence with the Gaza Strip.
Activities outside of communities near the Gaza Strip taking place 0-4 km from the border will require permission from the regional brigade.
We emphasize that there is no change to the defensive guidelines.

Today (Wednesday), the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced the re-opening of the Kerem Shalom Crossing for the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. This follows its closure due to rocket fire by the Hamas terrorist organization toward the area of the crossing.
Trucks from Egypt carrying humanitarian aid, including food, water, shelter equipment, medicine, and medical equipment donated by the international community are already arriving at the crossing. After a thorough security inspection by the security personnel of the Ministry of Defense Crossing Authority, the equipment will be transferred to the Gazan side of the crossing.
In parallel to the re-opening of the Kerem Shalom Crossing, the Erez Crossing is continuing to operate to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip following security checks in Israel, as it did while the Kerem Shalom Crossing was closed due to attacks by the Hamas terrorist organization.

IDF: A short while ago, the IDF identified a suspicious aerial target that was on its way from the east toward Israel, adjacent to the area of the city of Eilat. The IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted the target outside of Israeli territory.
