A single-sex approach to education has been widely used throughout our history, but as the society developed, we gradually began to educate male and female students together. There are still people claiming that separating university students by their gender can significantly improve the process of education, but I would still argue that a mixed education system is far superior as it reflects the values of the modern world.
Traditionally, men and women played different roles in the society. A person’s gender used to dictate what skill set was to be developed in order to fulfil his or her primary function in life, so it was simply a matter of efficiency and convenience to teach boys and girls separately. Today, though, we live in a much more progressive and liberal society, where gender distinctions can no longer define a person’s life choices. People can easily built a successful career in a sphere that has historically been linked with the opposite gender. Take politics, for example, a virtue once exclusively available to men. We can see how women are gradually becoming equally represented in governmental bodies, which correlates with gender equality pushed by modern social norms.
Another argument that could possibly justify the use of a single-sex approach to education is that it may create a learning environment devoid from any undesired distractions. University students go through a phase of puberty, when they begin to develop a romantic interest in the opposite gender, which is believed to hinder the education process. However, I do not consider this a negative phenomenon since communicating with members of the opposite gender is a crucial skill that a person needs to be able to use successfully in the future. If we separate students by gender, on the other hand, we prevent them from having these valuable experiences. Eventually, this can lead to awkwardness and excessive shyness in communication with other people in their later life, not allowing them to live a fulfilling life.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that separating university students by their gender is a practice no longer applicable to the modern settings. We begin to live in a far more homogenous society, where any distinctions – not only in gender – are increasingly neglected
This is another very good example for the approach I talked about

One of the primary concerns regarding the potential harm of video games is their alleged role in fostering anti-social behavior. This argument suggests that prolonged and excessive engagement with video games may hinder social interaction. This view is further fueled by the media portrayal of gamers, which depict them as individuals who neglect self-care and devote all their time to playing video games. However, this limited understanding of video games overlooks the fact that they promote team play, communication, and mutual understanding among gamers. Moreover, online gaming communities provide platforms for individuals to connect, share experiences, and build friendships with like-minded individuals around the world.

There is a view that investing in space exploration is not justifiable as the resources can be better spent on other important matters. While exploring space is not completely useless, people may question its relevance to society, arguing that money should be allocated to more urgent problems.
Probably, the most compelling argument supporting advancements in space exploration is that it can potentially lead to the discovery of habitable planets beyond our solar system. As we deplete planetary resources, contribute to environmental pollution, and face the consequences of climate change, space exploration offers a potential solution and a source of hope for the future. Discovering habitable planets in other star systems would provide us with alternative options for human colonization and extraction of resources, alleviating the strain on Earth's limited resources. Without substantial funds, these possibilities remain in the realm of science fiction.
However, footing the bill for such advancements can be morally questionable. Except for private entities like businesses such as SpaceX, it is the government that bears the financial responsibility for the developments in space exploration. Of course, spending taxpayers' money on something that may not deliver the desired outcomes is bound to raise ethical concerns over how public funds should be utilized to serve the best interests of the public.
Therefore, it is important for governments to prioritize and allocate resources in a manner that maximizes the benefit to society as a whole. Addressing some pressing problems would be a perfect start. Firstly, better strategies should be developed to reduce poverty rates, provide social safety nets, and address income disparities. This can ensure a more equitable society. Additionally, actions should be taken to mitigate climate change, transition to renewable energy sources, and conserve natural resources. All these measures represent wiser utilization of public funds compared to investing in space exploration.
In conclusion, while channeling money into technological developments to explore space has some potential benefits, especially in terms of discovering other Earth-like planets, it raises moral concerns about how public funds should be spent. Therefore, more important issues should be prioritized, such as reducing poverty and protecting the environment.

This is an interesting but unusual way to answer agree/disagree questions.
You present an opinion then in the same paragraph you rebut/refute it.
In the paragraph above, I presented an opinion(not mine): video games allegedly foster antisocial behavior. After developing this a little, I refute it by saying it is wrong. This shows that I disagree with the statement.
The availability of entertainment such as video games is harmful to individuals and to the society they live in.

Some people think most crimes are the result of circumstance, for example, poverty and other social problems. Others believe that most crimes are caused by people who are bad by nature.
Dicuss both views and give your own opinion.
Despite the strides made in the field of human psychology, there seems to be little consensus over what contributes to criminal behavior. While some attribute it to external factors such as financial instability and problems in society, others argue that certain individuals may have inherent inclinations towards engaging in criminal behavior. I believe that most crimes are primarily influenced by circumstantial factors.
Proponents of the idea of an innate criminal mind think personality traits contribute to a person’s susceptibility to criminal actions. Some people exhibit characteristics such as impulsivity, sensation-seeking, or a lack of empathy, all of which can increase the likelihood of engaging in unlawful activities. Apart from this, genetic factors are also considered to be at play, though the field is still in its infancy and therefore, lacks definitive proof or direct causal links.
I would argue that most crimes stem from poverty and other societal problems. Economic deprivation, lack of access to resources, and limited opportunities can lead individuals to commit crimes as a means of survival or to address their financial needs. For example, when a person from a low-income neighborhood, struggling to make ends meet due to unemployment, inadequate education, and limited job prospects resorts to crime, putting it down to the person’s bad nature appears simplistic.
Existing social problems are also behind many criminal activities. Neighborhood instability and social disorganization can create an environment that fosters criminal behavior. More often than not, communities facing these challenges experience breakdowns in social bonds, reduced effectiveness in working together, and increased crime rates. Again, blaming internal factors like genetics for crimes committed in disadvantaged neighborhoods seems inadequate as an explanation.
In conclusion, poverty and other problems we have in society cannot explain every instance of criminal behavior and some internal factors do play a role in a person’s criminal acts. However, the vast majority of crimes are rooted in financial disadvantage and community challenges. These factors drive individuals to engage in criminal behavior for survival or due to limited alternatives.

The traditional trajectory of employment, where people work in the same job during their entire working life, is a thing of the past as most people now change jobs several times. While this development can be attributed to recent technological advancements and evolving career expectations, expanding their skill set and increasing media presence can enhance people’s job security.
Rapid advancements in technology have led to the automation of certain jobs, rendering them obsolete. Automation involves using machines, artificial intelligence, and software algorithms to perform tasks that were done by humans. Companies increasingly opt for automation thanks to its efficiency, which manifests in the form of increased productivity and revenue, and reduced errors. Consequently, employees may have to explore other professional options.
Another reason for job changes is the shifting nature of individuals' career expectations. While solely meeting financial needs was the primary priority for the majority of people in the past, there is now an increasing emphasis on work-life integration. This concept has gained prominence, with more individuals seeking flexibility and a better balance between their personal and professional lives. As a result, job seekers are more open to changing jobs to find better alignment with their preferences.
