On January 17th 2026, as the sun rose over a beautiful summer day, four Enlightened agents in Cape Town, South Africa, set out to make a BAF.
🕖 At 7am agent Summit7777 set out to take down blockers. At 8:51am agent RobynBird23 laid down the base link across the bay. Agents NDSpark and BingeBo55 prepared to travel in absolute stealth so as not to rouse any suspicion. Meanwhile, agent Summit7777 made as much noise as he could, to try to mislead any watching Resistance players.
🗻 The first obstacle they overcame was a pay gate entrance to take down a major blocker on top of a mountain, in a nature reserve. After that their hearts simultaneously stopped as they saw a Resistance link appear on the map, cutting through their linking plan. After a moment’s panic however they saw that the link only cut off the very last portal in their linking plan, and so they left it alone and went on.
🔻 At 3:30pm agent BingeBo55 closed the first field, and from that moment on the four agents were fully focused. By 5:00pm they had made 45 layers of approximately 0.5Mil MUs/layer. For a total of approx. 22.7 million MUs. ✔️
👍 As Resistance agents flooded to the spine of Aegis protected portals the agents were able to keep the fields up, taking only minor losses, dropping the number of layers from 45 to 38.
🛡 A total of 5 Onyx Illuminator badges achieved! Most importantly, they had sent a message to the local Resistance agents: Don’t get cozy, the Enlightenment is still in Cape Town!

【Ingress +Gamma Hong Kong: Enlightened Wins 156:144, Breaking Over a Decade of History】
On 14 March 2026, the Ingress +Gamma Anomaly took place around Tai Wai and Yuen Chau Tsai Park. After three hours and six hard-fought waves, Enlightened Hong Kong (ENLHK) turned the tide to defeat the Resistance 156:144 - our first XMA victory in Hong Kong and Macau in over ten years!
The scoreline stayed tight throughout. We kept our composure and stayed adaptable — continuously repositioning and pushing unique hack efficiency to stay within striking distance. In the final wave's shard battle, every second counted: clear portals, throw links, push shards, all happening almost simultaneously. It was that refusal to give up until the very last moment that completed the comeback. Perhaps that relentless clarity under pressure is the truest expression of what it means to be Enlightened.
Thank you to every on-site agent, overseas remote rechargers, and the logistics team. This victory belongs to the entire Enlightened community.
