This weeks AMA was dedicated to OPR and therefor only questions regarding OPR and portal submissions have been answered:
- The goal is to analyze all outstanding submissions in OPR.
- In order to ensure that all areas can be processed you'll get sometimes candidates from further away than normal. Further details will be forthcoming.
- At this time there is no plan to allow a third chance to take the OPR test.
- Some candidates still in OPR limbo have to be reviewed further by NIA OPS. They shall be processed soon.
- It requires analysis by both factions before a decision is made.
- There is a chance that the number of portal submissions each person can do every 14 day will increase.
- There are plans to address faction bias in OPR.
- "What is it" provides Niantic with extra data about the candidate that may be taken into account when a decision is made.
- There are no plans on returning the Seer Badge.
- The first question, “Should this be a portal?”, is not an overall score. It is asking for your impression of the candidate prior to analyzing the details of the other questions.
- The submission process in Ingress 2.0 might be improved to include supporting photos and hopefully spheres.
- Next goal is to enable analyzing edits in OPR.
- Agreements will not count towards the badge while you are in poor standing. Keep analyzing to the best of your ability and follow the criteria to recover.
