♻️ This is the best Fatwa I’ve come across that beautifully teaches what enjoining al-Maroof is and what forbidding al-Munkar is and how to carry them out.

🔒QUESTION: What is the ruling in Islaam regarding the people who are guests in my house, and among them is someone who does not like to be woken up for the Fajr prayer. Should I leave him or wake him up from his sleep, knowing that he gets extremely angry if someone tries to wake him up? What is the ruling regarding this?
🗝️ANSWER: It is required for you to wake those who are sleeping in your house for the Fajr prayer because this is part of enjoining what is right. But if he does not comply, then it is obligatory upon you to remove him from the house, because this is from the perfection of forbidding what is wrong.

🌴 Every moment in a Believer's life is an opportunity...
1️⃣ ...opportunity to thank Allaah for His numerous Favors and Blessings:
وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ
{But few of My slaves are grateful}
📚 [Surah Saba (34): 13]
{Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks}
📚 [Surah al-Naml (27): 73]
2️⃣ ...opportunity to repent for his sins:
فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّـهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ
{And if they turn away, then know that Allaah's Will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most of men are Faasiqoon (rebellious and disobedient to Allaah)}
📚 [Surah al-Maaidah (5): 49]
{And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He (Allaah) pardons much}
📚 [Surah al-Shooraa (42): 30]
3️⃣ ...opportunity to increase in Allaah's repentance:
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The one who does Dhikr (remembrance) of his Lord in comparison to the one who does not do Dhikr of his Lord, are like the living and the dead."
📚 [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree]
4️⃣ ...opportunity to increase more in good deeds. No blessing can be greater than getting repeated opportunities to increase the good deeds and get rid of the sins. A person who had prayed Fajr may get the opportunity to pray Dhuhr, the one who prayed Isha may get the opportunity to get up for Fajr, the one who Fasted the previous year may get the opportunity to Fast the next year. For there were many who prayed Isha and went to bed but never to wake up. There were many with us last Ramadhaan but who are with us no more:
The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
"The five (daily) prayers, and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadhaan to Ramadhaan are expiations for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins."

Then beseech Allaah to grant me al-Waseelah, which is a high rank in Jannah, fitting for only one of Allaah’s slaves; and I hope that I will be that man. 📑 Explanation
🎓Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen
❝The virtue (of repeating the Adhaan), as mentioned in the Ahaadeeth, the Prophet ﷺ instructed us that when we hear the Muadhdhin calling the Adhaan, to say as he says. If he says: “Allaah is the Greatest”, we should also repeat: “Allaah is the Greatest”. When he says: “I testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allaah”, we should also say: “I testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allaah”. When he says: “I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah”, we should also say: “I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah”. Except when he says: “Come to prayer, come to salvation”, we do not repeat this because we are the ones being invited, and the Muadhdhin is the one who is inviting. So it is not correct for us to repeat: “Come to prayer” after the Muadhdhin, rather we are to say the words of seeking help: “There is no might and no power except with Allaah”. These words mean that we have accepted the call and now we seek Allaah’s عز وجل help (for fulfilling our responsibilities). This is why I say that these words are the words of seeking help through which a person seeks to correct his affairs and rectify his condition. This is why, in the story of the man with two gardens, the Believer said to him:
وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّـهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّـهِ
If one sincerely prays to Allaah for help, then worry no more.
When Allaah helps someone, then even the words which his opponents speak against him will only be in his favor.
Impermissibility of slaughtering near the graves
Shaikh Ibn Baaz رحمه الله said:
“The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“There is no slaughtering (at the grave) in Islaam.” [1]
In the Jaahiliyyah (days of ignorance), people used to slaughter (animals) near a grave of a “great” person and this is Haraam (forbidden). So, if a (sick) person comes out of a hospital, then slaughtering it near the hospital or on the way through which he is going to pass is not allowed. But if an animal (sheep, goat etc.) is slaughtered in the honor of his coming out of the hospital as food for lunch or dinner, then this is hospitality, and there is no problem in that.”

[1] Reported by Abu Dawood in his Sunan (3222) on the authority of Anas bin Maalik رضي الله عنه, and graded “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee رحمه الله in al-Saheehah (2436) and he said: “It is Saheeh as per the condition of al-Shaikhain (al-Bukhaaree and Muslim).”
In India, SOME of the Muslims adopted this tradition from the Hindus, wherein, before the bride enters the house, a chicken is slaughtered in front of the main door and the bride steps in the blood before taking the step inside. (And this still happens.)
Another instance is that when SOME of them buy a car (or other means of transportation), they will slaughter a chicken and rub some of the blood on the bumper or the tires with the hope of preventing evil eye, etc.
🔥Is Yasir Qadhee propagating the Aqeedah of the Murji’ah?!
Aqeedah (Creed) of the Murji’ah who believe that:
👉One of the most dangerous affairs facing the Ummah is that knowingly and unknowingly, a lot of people are treading the path of the Murji’ah. They are living a life of sin and disobedience, yet dream about attaining the highest station in the Jannah without ever repenting for their sins. Like the Murji’ah, they say that having intension is sufficient or they say: “you don’t know what is in the heart”. The Murji’ah hold the view that Imaan is nothing but to affirm it with the heart only. They claim this acceptance of the heart never wavers, so according to them, the wicked and the just are both at the same level of Imaan, concluding that the level of Imaan of the Prophets and the common Muslims is the same. It is from the
(a) Imaan is nothing but a belief of the heart only,
(b) the actions of the limbs and statement of the tongue are not a part of Imaan,
(c) Imaan neither increases with obedience nor decreases with disobedience,
(d) and that it remains constant.
Whereas the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaaah believe that Imaan is to believe in the articles of Faith with:
ah worships Allaah based on love, hope, and fear. They pray to Allaah out of love for Him and to seek His pleasure, they abandon sins out of fear of Him and His punishment, and they repent to Him full of hope that He will accept their repentance and admit them into Jannah.
(a) firm conviction of the heart,
(b) statement of the tongue (saying the Shahaadah),
(c) and actions of the limbs,
(d) it increases with righteousness and obedience and decreases with sins and disobedience.
Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaa
⚡Shaitaan believed in Allaah. He acknowledged Allaah’s Lordship, Superiority and Majesty with firm belief in his heart and uttered it with his tongue, but that did not benefit him when he disobeyed Allaah with his actions.
⚡Fir`aun and those around him were convinced that what Moosaa عليه السلام came with is the Truth, but they did not utter it with their tongue, rather, they wrongfully rejected him out of arrogance as Allaah تعالى says:
﴿وَجَحَدُواْ بِهَا وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْماً وَعُلُوّاً فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ﴾
{And they denied them (those Ayaat) wrongfully and arrogantly, even though their own selves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayaat) are from Allaah, and Moosaa is the Messenger of Allaah in truth, but they disliked to obey Moosaa, and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So, see what was the end of the Mufsidoon (disbelievers, evildoers, liars and disobedient to Allaah).}
📚[Surah An-Naml (27):14]
⚡If a person does not believe with his heart, but only utters the Shahaadah with his tongue, then he is a Hypocrite, even if he were to pray five times a day, as Allaah تعالى says:
﴿إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّـهِ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّـهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ﴾
{When the hypocrites come to you (O Muhammad ﷺ), they say: “We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allaah.” Allaah knows that you are indeed His Messenger and Allaah bears witness that the hypocrites are liars indeed}
📚[Surah al-Munaafiqoon (63): 1]
🌴🌴🌴
So, from these three examples it is clear that Imaan consists of (a) firm conviction of the heart, (b) statement of the tongue, (c) and actions of the limbs.
What YQ is propagating is that as long as the person does not utters with his mouth that the one in the grave is an “ilaah” (god), then it is not considered as Shirk, even if he were to pray towards him, supplicate to him instead of Allaah, sacrifice for his. YQ is taking actions out of Imaan! YQ’s only criterion is “the statement of the tongue”, if this were true then it would mean that even Shaitaan is upon Truth because Shaitaan did acknowledge Allaah’s superiority as mentioned earlier.
🔥Yasir Qadhee, in following in the footsteps of his mentor al-Awni - came up with a theory that it would only be considered as Shirk if and when a person considers or calls or believes someone or something as an “ilaah” (god). So, as per YQ, it would not be considered as Shirk if a person supplicates to the dead in the grave but does not consider than person as “ilaah”.
Uboodiyah (worship) is being changed here.
⚡If one were to believe in this theory of his, then it would also mean that if a person bows or prostrates towards a grave or something, then it won’t be considered as Shirk as long as the one who is doing it does not considers that person to be an “ilaah”. The whole concept of
👉Anyone who has a basic understanding of the Deen will know that directing any act of worship (Salaah, bowing, prostrating, invoking, supplicating, making Tawaaf) towards anyone or anything other than Allaah is Shirk and is Haraam, irrespective of if the person believes him to be an “ilaah” or not. This is further supported by the Aayah and the Hadeeth of the Prophet ﷺ:
﴿ ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَحۡبَارَهُمۡ وَرُهۡبَـٰنَهُمۡ أَرۡبَابً۬ا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ﴾
{They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allaah...}
📚[Surah al-Tawbah (9): 31
Narrated Adee Ibn Haatim رضي الله عنه: “I came to the Prophet ﷺ while I had a cross of gold around my neck. He ﷺ said: ❝O
Adee! Remove this idol from yourself!❞ And I heard him reciting from Surah Baraa’ah (al-Tawbah): {They took their rabbis and monks as lords besides Allaah}. He ﷺ said: ❝As for them, they did not worship them! But when they (the rabbis and monks) made something lawful for them, they (the people) considered it lawful, and when they made something unlawful for them, they considered it unlawful.❞

In another narration, Adee رضي الله عنه said: “I came to the Prophet ﷺ while I had a cross of gold around my neck. He ﷺ said: ❝O
Adee! Remove this idol from yourself!❞ So I removed it and came closer to him and I heard him reciting from Surah Baraa’ah (al-Tawbah): {They took their rabbis and monks as lords besides Allaah} (9:31). I said to him: “We did not used to worship them.” He ﷺ said: ❝Was it not that they made it unlawful that which Allaah had made lawful, and you considered it as unlawful? And they made it lawful that which Allaah made unlawful, and you considered it as lawful? ❞ I said: “Yes!” He ﷺ said: ❝This is how they worshiped them. ❞

{They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allaah...}
“Did the people pray towards them?” He (Hudhaifah) said: “No! But rather, they (the rabbis) would make the things made unlawful upon them by Allaah as lawful, and the people would take it as lawful, and they would make the things made lawful upon them by Allaah as unlawful, and the people would take it as unlawful. This is how they became their gods!”

📑Conclusion:
So, from this Aayah and these narrations it is clear that it not a condition that the people should refer to, or believe in, or call such things as “ilaah” to be considered as Shirk. Any act – that should solely be directed towards Allaah - but is being done for someone else, then it is Shirk, irrespective of what one's intention is, whether one believes them to be gods or not.
When Allaah's Messenger ﷺ went out to the battle of Hunain he passed a tree called Dhaat Anwaat belonging to the polytheists, on which they hung their weapons. The people asked him to appoint Dhaat Anwaat for them just as those people had one, to which Allaah's Messenger ﷺ replied: ❝Glory be to Allaah! This is like what the people of Moosa said when they asked him to appoint them a god just as other people had gods. By Him in Whose hand my soul is, you will certainly follow the practices of your predecessors.❞
📚 [Musnad of Imaam Ahmad (21897, 21900), Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2180), Saheeh Ibn Hibbaan (6702), and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
The Companions did not intend to worship that tree, nor did they called it as ilaah (god), they just intended with it to seek blessings from it, yet the Prophet ﷺ compared their request with that of the Banee Israaeel who had asked Moosaa عليه السلام for a "god". This is another proof that the intention does not matter if the action is in itself wrong, and it does not matter if one calls it an ilaah (god) or not, if the actions of worship - like bowing, prostration, supplication - are directed towards a person or a thing, then he has worshiped it, even if he does not call it as ilaah.

May Allaah keep us steadfast upon His Deen and make us die as Muslims upon His obedience. May Allaah تعالى protect us and our children from ever worshiping anyone other than Allaah.
2. The person you are calling to should be present (someone who is alive and can hear you).
3. The dead cannot hear
4. Even if the dead were able to hear, they have no ability to benefit you or harm you.
5. Invocation, supplications, making Du`aa to other than Allaah is Shirk.
6. Only because someone is unaware of the ruling doesn't make that act permissible.
7. All these people who YQ is trying to support will disown him on the Day of Judgement.
8. No one can teach us about Allaah's religion than Allaah Himself, and He تعالى has revealed the Qur'aan for our guidance, and sent Muhammad ﷺ as a guide.
══════❁✿❁══════
4️⃣ What is preventing you from calling Allaah directly?
In his talk that asking the dead or asking other than Allaah is not Shirk, Yaser Qaadhi forgot one simple Aayah, which he and everyone else recites at least 17 times a day in their Obligatory prayers:
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
{(O Allaah!) You (alone) we worship, and You we ask for help}
📚 [Surah al-Faatihah (1): 5]
⚡Then YQ added another twist, he's comparing calling/supplicating the dead same as him asking his son (who is alive) for help. He's comparing the dead with the living! He's comparing mangoes and apples!
{Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allaah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves.}
📚 [Surah Faatir (35):22]
👉 So, as mentioned in this Aayah and the earlier Aayah quoted from Surah Faatir, it becomes clear that while seeking help from someone, we have to remember two things:
1. The person we are calling to should be present (someone who is alive and can hear us).
2. That person should have the ability to do what we are asking him to do.
❌ So with this perspective in mind, remember that it is wrong to ask the dead because they cannot hear and they cannot do anything for you.
✅ No one can make your life pleasurable except Allaah تعالى, no one can bestow favors upon you except Allaah, and no human being can help you without Allaah's permission.
♻️ If ever, the dead are in need of our supplication and help. They are in need of us asking Allaah to forgive them and to have mercy on them. There are so many Ahaadeeth on this.

5️⃣ A. Having a good intention does not change the definition of a thing.
B. An impermissible action does not become permissible based on one’s good intentions.
C. Good intentions do not justify the means:
👉Allaah تعالى says:
﴿وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّـهِ زُلْفَىٰ﴾
{And those who take Auliyaa' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say): “We do not worship them except (for a reason) that they may bring us nearer to Allaah.”}
📚[Surah al-Zumar (39): 3]
🎓 Shaikh Saaleh al-Fawzaan حفظه الله said:
“They did not intend Shirk, nor was it their aim. They only thought that by this they are fulfilling acts of worship and as a means of getting closer to Allaah سبحانه وتعالى. See how Shaitaan approaches the children of Aadam (to mislead them), and how the Shayaateen from amongst the men approach the children of Aadam and beautify for them this matter. [TN: This is exactly what YQ is doing, he is beautifying it for the people that calling the dead is not Shirk]
We say to them: you might not be (directly) worshiping the idols (like the people of old); but instead, you have set up the righteous people as intermediaries between you and Allaah; AND WITH ALLAAH تعالى THIS IS STILL AN ACT OF SHIRK. He تعالى says:
One of the motivations for most people in life is the never ending pursuit of chasing dreams and achievements, whether it's homes, cars or anything else. This is for many, a reason to carry on.
The problem is when you’re wealthy, you are able to buy all your dreams to the point they become no more... Now the down side from that is major depression and emptiness. And the only remedy for that emptiness, that you will never be able to fill, is in the worship of Allaah تعالى and knowing Him through His beautiful Names and lofty Attributes, and trying to learn and understand the Deen that He تعالى gave us to follow...
So without Allaah in a wealthy person's life, you will find them trying to fill that emptiness with drugs, alcohol, illegal sex, and other vices - even though time after time they have seen the destruction of those before them. All the celebrities, actors, singers, musicians are into some vice or the other.
Our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم spoke the truth!!! If the children of Aadam were to be given a valley of gold, they would desire another one!!!
Only Allaah suffices and He is the best guardian!!! Hasbun-Allaahu Wa ni`mal wakeel!
It was not like YQ was a Jaahil. He deviated after having learned the Truth and he has this "intellectual" discussions with his "intellectual" friends, who have put doubts in his heart that the Qur'aan is not preserved and that there are human elements in it, and that Yajooj and Majooj are zombies etc. Then YQ comes out and spills this to his audience. So, make no doubt, he's not making mistakes, he is teaching mistakes, spreading doubts, and deviating his audience from the truth.
Verily, those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe (again), and (again) disbelieve, and go on increasing in disbelief; Allaah will not forgive them, nor guide them on the (Right) Way
📚[Surah al-Nisaa (4):137]
Even after studying in the Islaamic University of al-Madeenah, it did not help Yasir Qadhi to be firm upon the Manhaj of Salaf as-Saalih, so it won't be surprising either if he goes out of the fold of Islaam (or declares himself to be an atheist) after his PhD from Yale.
His recent talks are a witness against himself. Claiming that there might be human elements in the Qur'aan or raising doubts about its preservation, interpreting Yajooj and Majooj as zombies, changing his stance about the Shia, and recently promoting Major Shirk.
Praise is to Allaah Who has kept me safe from that which has afflicted him and preferred me over many of those whom He has created.

Narrated Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
alaa kathirin mimman khalaqa tafdheela (Praise is to Allah Who has kept me safe from that which has afflicted you and preferred me over many of those whom He has created), will be kept safe from that calamity, no matter what it is.❞
❝Whoever unexpectedly comes across a person suffering a calamity, and says: Al-hamdu Lillaahil-ladhee ‘afaani mim-mabtalaka bihi, wa faddalani
📚[Sunan Ibn Maajah and Sunan al-Tirmidhee and graded as "Hasan" by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
🎓 Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said that Abu Yazeed al-Bastaamee رحمه الله said:
"When a creation seeks protection/help from another creation, it is like a drowning person seeking help from another drowning person."
📚[Majmoo al-Fataawaa (1/106)]
aanah (استعانة): seeking help in that which is beneficial, as Allaah تعالى mentioned:
🌴🌴🌴
A dead person in his grave is like a drowning person waiting for a supplication from his father, or mother, or brother, or son, or friend which would save him. When one supplicates TO him, how can he help who himself is drowning; but when you supplicate FOR him, then it is like throwing a life jacket at him.
🌴🌴🌴
Seeking help are of two types:
1️⃣ Isti
{You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help}
📚 [Surah al-Faatihah (1): 5]
2️⃣ Istighaathah (استغاثة): seeking help to remove an affliction, or to help avert some harm etc. Example of this is when the man from Moosaa's عليه السلام clan asked his help (Istighaath) against their common enemy:
{And he (Moosaa عليه السلام) entered the city at a time of unawareness of its people, and he found there two men fighting, - one of his party (his religion - from the Children of Israel), and the other of his foes. The man of his (own) party asked him for help against his foe, so Moosaa struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: "This is of Shaitaan's doing, verily, he is a plain misleading enemy."}
📚 [Surah al-Qasas (28): 15]
👉 Any help which a person seeks from the creation - in the matters in which only Allaah alone can help - is Shirk. Like asking the dead or an idol to provide children, sustenance, or abundance of wealth, or asking them for protection from the Hell-fire, or to remove an affliction etc, or believing that an amulet, or a trinket, or a thread can ward of evil eye etc.

🔥 There are three reasons why the Barelwees and the other branches of Sufism hate Shaikh al-Islaam, Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab
1️⃣ He رحمه الله was a staunch opposer of Shirk, grave-worship, and false `Aqeedah.
2️⃣ He actions directly hit the people where it hurts the most, their pockets. Grave-worship is a multi-million dollar business. Millions are generated near the shrines through this business of grave worship. Large donations, selling of flowers, and shrouds or large clothes as offering for the shrines and as covering for the graves. Their free Halwa (sweet) as offerings for the custodians of those shrines, the peers, and the murshids. They take these innocent people for a ride. What do the dead have to do with sweets? What do the dead have to do with the money? It is nothing more than amassing wealth for the leaving. May Allaah fill their bellies with fire.
3️⃣ Their businesses thrive because they are successful in keeping the masses ignorant of the real teachings of Islaam, and away from the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ. By Allaah's permission, Shaikh al-Islaam, Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab رحمه الله, worked towards making the people understand Tawheed, warned them against Shirk, and he not only made knowledge accessible to the people, but also made it easy for them to understand. His books are easily understood even by a layman.
{O you who believe! Verily, there are many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks who devour the wealth of mankind in falsehood, and hinder (them) from the Way of Allaah (i.e. Allaah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism). And those who hoard up gold and silver [Al-Kanz: the money, the Zakaah of which has not been paid], and spend it not in the Way of Allaah, - announce unto them a painful torment.}
📚 [Surah Tawbah (9): 34]
The virtue of repeating the Adhaan behind the Muadhdhin
http://ilm4all.blogspot.com/2021/02/brief-comments-on-riyaadh-al-saaliheen.html?m=1
{It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: “That which Allaah wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allaah”}
📚[Surah al-Kahf (18): 39]
Meaning: It would have been better for you and you would have safeguarded your garden from getting ruined.
This indeed is a great phrase. The Prophet ﷺ said to Abdullaah Ibn Qais – Abu Moosaa al-Ash
aree رضي الله عنه: ❝Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Jannah?❞ He (Abu Moosaa) said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allaah!” Thereupon he ﷺ said: ❝(Recite): “Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah” (There is no might and no power except with Allaah).❞
📚[Saheehain]
So, when the Muadhdhin says: “Come to prayer, come to success”, we should say: “There is no might and no power except with Allaah”. When he says during the Fajr Adhaan: “The prayer is better than sleep”, we should also say: “The prayer is better than sleep”. When he says: “Allaah is the Greatest”, we should also say: “Allaah is the Greatest”. And when he says: “There is no one worthy of worship except Allaah”, we should repeat: “There is no one worthy of worship except Allaah”.
After that we should invoke Allaah’s blessing upon the Prophet ﷺ, saying: “Allaahumma Sallee alaa Muhammad…” (O Allaah! Bestow Your favors on Muhammad…), and whoever invokes Allaah’s blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ once, he will receive Allaah’s blessings ten times.
wati-t-taammah, wal-salaati-l-qaaimah, aati Muhammadani-l-waseelata wal-fadheelah, wab
Then we should beseech Allaah to grant al-Waseelah to the Prophet ﷺ:
اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة والصلاة القائمة آت محمدا الوسيلة والفضيلة وابعثه مقاما محمودا الذي وعدته (إنك لا تخلف الميعاد)
Allaahumma rabba haadhihi-d-daath-hu maqaama-mahmoodan al-ladhee wa
adtahu, [innaka laa tukhliful-meeaad]
eefah (11/293/5181) and also al-Irwa (1/260-261)]
O Allaah, Rabb of this perfect call and of the established prayer, grant Muhammad the Waseelah and superiority, and raise him up to a praiseworthy position which You have promised him. [Verily! You do not neglect promises]
📚[Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (614, 4719). The words within the brackets are from Sunan al-Baihaqee and this addition opposes the other authentic narrations. See al- Dha
So, if we seek Allaah’s blessing on the Prophet ﷺ and beseeched Allaah to grant him al-Waseelah, then intercession will be assured for us, meaning: the Prophet ﷺ will intercede for us (on the Day of Judgment). Al-Waseelah is a high rank in the Jannah, the highest that can be (closer to Allaah), and this rank will not be given except to only one person. The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝I hope that I will be that man.❞ And this hope, by Allaah’s Will, will be fulfilled (in the favor of our Prophet ﷺ), because we know that the best of creation with Allaah is the Prophet ﷺ, and because the Ummah of Muhammad beseeches Allaah to grant him that rank after every Adhaan. And the supplication between the Adhaan and `Iqaamah is not rejected. Every person in this (Muslim) Ummah says: “O Allaah! Grant al-Waseelah to Muhammad!” And the Ummah of Muhammad, by Allaah’s permission, is worthy that if they supplicate to Allaah to grant al-Waseelah to Muhammad, then Allaah will accept it from this Ummah, this is why the ophet ﷺ said: ❝I hope that I will be that man.❞
Therefore, when we hear the Muadhdhin, it is necessary for us repeat what he says, if we are reciting (the Qur’aan), then we should stop reciting and repeat after the Muadhdhin. When are done with this, we can go back to reciting (the Qur’aan).❞
📚[Sharh Riyaadh al-Saaliheen (5/35-38)]
Among the successful people are those whose breathing might stop but their good deeds keep multiplying.

⚡Do not rush to complete your recitation of Surah al-Faatihah. Recite slowly, and give it its due right by contemplating on its meaning⚡
🎓 Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"I often heard Shaykh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله, say:
"{إياك نعبد}
{You (Alone) We worship}
protects one from (the disease of) Riyaa (hypocrisy/showing-off) and
{وإياك نستعين}
{You (Alone) we ask for help}
protects one from (the disease of) Pride."
So, if one is cured from the disease of Riyaa (hypocrisy/showing-off) with {You (alone) we worship}; and cured from the disease of pride and self-amazement with {You (alone) we ask for help}; and cured from the disease of misguidance and ignorance with {Guide us to the Straight Path}; then he has been cured from his diseases and sicknesses, and wellness has been given to him in abundance, and the blessings have been perfected for him."
📚 [Madaarij (1/78)]
And if the statement of the tongue is the criterion, then even the hypocrites would have benefited because they said the Shahaadah with their tongues.
👉 Actions do have consequences! Even if the people acknowledge that only Allaah is the Supreme Being but they invoke other than Him or along with Him. The action in itself is Shirk. Labeling someone as Mushrik (polytheist) depends whether if that person did it out of ignorance or if he was well aware of his actions.
👉 It was mentioned in earlier post how some Companions who had recently become Muslim asked the Prophet ﷺ to provide for them Dhaat Anwaat – a tree from which they could seek blessings. The Companions did not intent to worship that tree nor did they call it an “ilaah”, yet the Prophet ﷺ rebuked this request of theirs and said to them that they have requested a “god” like how the Banee Israaeel had requested for a “god” from Moosaa عليه السلام.
🔥 On the other hand, in this era, those who invoice the dead, firmly believe in their hearts and call out with their tongues that others besides Allaah can remove the harm and distress and can provide for them their needs. They call their Awliyaa’ as: “Ghaus-e-A`zam” (the greatest deliverer from adversity), “Mushkil Kusha” (alleviator of hardship), “Ganj Bakhsh” (bestower of riches). So their beliefs, statements and actions, all elevate these Awliyaa to the level equal with Allaah or even above than Him! Yet YQ insists that they should use the word “ilaah”. He is selective quoting and distorting the facts to deviate people away from the Truth.
It is not rocket science to understand that YQ is trying to water down the religion.
Allaah تعالى prohibited intoxicants in stages. First He تعالى mentioned about the benefit and harm about it, then He تعالى prohibited praying while intoxicated, then He تعالى prohibited it completely and to shun it with no excuse to consume it voluntarily.
YQ is doing the opposite. He is downgrading grave worship from Shirk to Haraam, then he will slowly but gradually downgrade it from Haraam to Makrooh (disliked but no sin in doing it), then it will be Mubaah....
Anyone who has reverted (converted) from Christianity or Hinduism or any other form of polytheism to Islaam will know better what tricks YQ is playing. As for his blind followers, they are fascinated by his 3 hours video and parroting everything he said. This is what happens when one doesn't learn proper Aqeedah nor does he know Arabic and is at the mercy of such mesmerizers.
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
For the fans of YQ, you should take your religion from the Shias as well because your savior - YQ - defends them and sits with them as well.

📚 [Surah Yunus (10): 18]
Look how Allaah تعالى freed Himself from them and their acts when He تعالى said: {GLORIFIED AND EXALTED BE HE ABOVE ALL...}
And He تعالى labeled their act as Shirk: {...THAT WHICH THEY ASSOCIATE AS PARTNERS WITH HIM!}
They (in their ignorance) do not consider this as Shirk; they only refer it as a means of seeking an intercession. Therefore, one should take every precaution against (falling into) this.”

6️⃣ IF IT WAS ALLOWED (and this is a big question), then Isaa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام would have had more rights to be called upon than the dead, for two reasons:
Isaa Ibn Maryam عليه السلام because he also does not fulfill the two conditions.
A. He was raised up alive and is not dead and he will return again to this world before the Day of Judgement.
B. He is a Messenger of Allaah, who holds a higher status than all of the Walees and saints combined.
Yet we cannot call upon
A. He cannot hear our supplication.
B. He does not have the ability to respond to our call or fulfill our needs.
Moreover, if calling the dead was of any benefit and not Shirk, then why did Umar Ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه not supplicate to the Prophet ﷺ when there was drought?
Umar bin Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه, used to ask Al-
Whenever drought threatened them, Abbaas bin ‘Abdul Muttalib to invoke Allaah for rain. He used to say: ❝O Allaah! We used to ask our Prophet ﷺ to invoke You for rain, and You would bless us with rain, and now we ask his uncle to invoke You for rain. O Allaah! Bless us with rain.❞ And so it would rain.
zam" (the greatest deliverer from adversity), "Mushkil Kusha" (alleviator of hardship), "Haajat Rawa" (fulfiller of needs), "Ganj Bakhsh" (bestower of riches). Many believe that these Awliyaa'can snatch the soul from the Angel of death and bring that person back to live or that they will answer on their behalf to the two Angels in the grave.
📚 [Saheeh Al-Bukhaaree]
══════❁✿❁══════
7️⃣ No one calls upon the dead or a Walees except that he has already exaggerated in the status/rank of that person and has bad thoughts about Allaah. That Allaah تعالى won't provide for him if he ask's Allaah تعالى directly, or that there are beings stronger than Allaah who can provide for them even if Allaah تعالى intended otherwise.
They call their Awliyaa' as: "Gaus-e-A
{Say: “Who is he who can protect you from Allaah if He intends to harm you, or intends mercy on you’’ And they will not find, besides Allaah, for themselves any protector or any helper.}

And there are many more similar Aayaat.

8️⃣ Playing with semantics.
And as one of the brothers, Nabeel Shaikh pointed out: "How retarded can a person be to think that the gist of the message of all the Prophets sent by Allaah was to rectify semantics i.e. people should stop calling those they supplicated to, slaughtered for, and sought blessings from as: "gods" and/or "partners unto God", and stop calling those acts as: "worship", and they would be considered eligible for salvation and eternal bliss!"
══════❁✿❁══════
9️⃣ If merely the intention was sufficient, then the Prophet ﷺ would not have corrected his Companions when they asked for Dhaat Anwaat:
💠 Yasir Qadhee is trying badly to change the whole meaning and concept of Duaa, and when the people accept this new definition then it becomes easy for him and his likes to preach to them whatever one wants, and many people are fascinated by his "profound" knowledge (read as: deviation). These people have proven that once they accept a personality, they'll accept everything he says, even if it is rubbish and goes against the Qur'aan and Sunnah.
aa is worship:
It is like Deen has to be taught to them all over again.

1️⃣ Du

2️⃣ Types of Du
Duaa are of two types: Du
aa for asking (دعاء المسألة) and Duaa for worship (دعاء العبادة).
aa for asking is when a person supplicates, invokes, and beseeches Allaah for some benefit in this world and the Hereafter, or to ward off that which will cause harm to him etc. Example: saying: “O Allaah! Forgive me”, “O Allaah! Guide me”, “O Allaah! Protect me from punishment of the Fire”, “O Allaah! Grant me an obedient child” etc.
Du
As for Duaa of worship, it includes all acts of worship, like: Salaah, Fasting, Hajj, Adhkaar (remembrance of Allaah) etc. Acts of worship are called as Du
aa because a person acknowledges that only Allaah has the right to be worshiped, and he seeks reward from Allaah through these acts of obedience.

3️⃣ Two simple Aayaat which shatters YQ's theory that invoking someone other than Allaah is not Shirk:
Once we acknowledge and understand that Du`aa is an act of worship, it also becomes imperative for us to understand that we cannot direct our acts of worship to anyone other than Allaah, irrespective of what our INTENTIONS are. We cannot bow or prostrate to anyone other than Allaah. Similarly we cannot supplicate to anyone else either:
{He merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allaah, your Lord; His is the kingdom.
👉And those, whom you INVOKE or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (husk of a date-stone).
👉If you invoke them, they do not hear your call;
👉and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it to you.
👉And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your Shirk (worshiping) them.
👉And none can inform you like Him Who is the All-Knower.}

📑 These Aayaat are so simple to understand, one doesn't need to be a PhD:
1. While seeking help from someone, remember that he should have the ability to do what you are asking from him.
Some people get so appalled when someone is refuted by name. So, whenever we speak about a deviant, the conversation is never complete without posting this statement of Imaam Ahmad:
🎓 Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728H) رحمه الله said: “When some people said to Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal رحمه الله that they felt uneasy about criticizing people, he replied: "If you were to remain silent and I was to remain silent, how would the ignorant masses know the truth from falsehood?”

Yasir Qadhi is NOT teaching the Truth, he is spreading doubts! May his evil return to him, and may Allaah protect us from getting misguided after having received guidance.

Allaahumma innee a'oothu bika an 'ushrika bika wa anaa 'a'lamu, wa astaghfiruka limaa laa 'a'lamu.
O Allaah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not.
