How the cases of the murderers will be decided on the Day of Judgment:
Narrated Abdullaah bin Masood: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝The first cases to be decided among the people (on the Day of Resurrection) will be those of bloodshed.❞
📚[Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (6533, 6864) and Saheeh Muslim (4158)]
🌴🌴🌴
It was narrated that Abdullaah said: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝The first thing concerning which a person will be brought to account will be the Salaah, and the first thing concerning which scores will be settled among the people, will be bloodshed.❞
📚[Sunan al-Nasa’ee (3991) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
🌴🌴🌴
It was narrated from Ibn Abbaas that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝The slain will bring his killer on the Day of Resurrection holding his forelock (with one hand) and his (own) head (hanging) in his (other) hand, and with his jugular veins flowing with blood, and will say: O Lord! He killed me, until he draws near to the Throne.❞
They mentioned about repentance to Ibn Abbaas and he recited this Verse: ❝{And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell}❞ [Surah al-Nisaa’ (4): 93]
He (Ibn Abbaas) said: It has not been abrogated since it was revealed; there is no way he could repent.
📚[Sunan al-Nasaa’ee (4005) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

It is reported from Ibn Abbaas that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝The slain will come on the Day of Judgment with his head hanging in one hand and holding on to his killer with the other, while blood will be flowing from his veins, till he reaches the Throne. The slain will say to the Lord of the Worlds: He has killed me. Allaah تعالى will say to the killer: ❝{You are destroyed}❞, and he (the killer) will be taken towards the fire.❞

It was narrated from Abdullaah bin Masood that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝A man will come, holding another man’s hand, and will say: O Lord, this man killed me. Allaah تعالى will say to him: ❝{Why did you kill him?}❞ He will say: I killed him so that the glory would be to You. He will say: ❝{It is for Me}❞. Then (another) man will come holding another man's hand, and will say: This man killed me. Allaah will say to him: ❝{Why did you kill him?}❞ He will say: So that the glory would be to so and so. He will say: ❝{It is not for so and so}❞(nor will it be for Allaah’s cause), and the burden of sin will be upon him (the murderer).❞

It was narrated that Abu Imraan Al-Jawnee said: Jundab said: So and so told me that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝The slain will bring his killer on the Day of Resurrection (to Allaah) and will say: Ask him why he killed me. He will say: I killed him defending the kingdom of so and so.❞ Jundab said: “So be careful (what you fight for).”

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝Whoever attacks my Ummah (indiscriminately) killing the righteous and the wicked of them, sparing not (even) those staunch in faith and fulfilling not his promise made with those who have been given a pledge of security - he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.❞
📚[Saheeh Muslim (4555)]
🎓Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said (paraphrased):
❝When Allaah تعالى intends good for His slave, He تعالى removes from his heart the remembrance of the good deeds that he had done (so that pride doesn't overtake him), and He تعالى prevents his tongue from speaking about his good deeds (so that he doesn't boast about it to others), and He تعالى keeps him preoccupied with remembering his sins (so that he frequently seeks Allaah's forgiveness for his actions), and this feeling (of remorse for his misdeeds) remains with him till he enters the Jannah.❞

Your speech is being written…
And your words are being counted…
And you are being pursued (by death)…
And you have sins for which you have not repented…
And the sun of life is about to set…
While your heart has turned hard and still hanging to the rope of this world!!!
We assume the relief to be slow (in coming)...
...because we are looking at the paths that we are accustomed to.
While the relief is coming...
...but from a new path.
💠 Real Test: Can You Still Trust Allaah Without Needing The Explanation?

{Tell Me! The water that you drink. Is it you who cause it from the rainclouds to come down, or are We the Causer of it to come down? If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?}
🌴🌴🌴
📗 The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ led the Fajr prayer at al-Hudaibiyyah after rainfall during the night. At the conclusion of the prayer, he ﷺ turned towards the people and said: ❝Do you know what your Rabb has said?❞ They replied: “Allaah and His Messenger know better.” Upon this, he ﷺ remarked: "Allaah (تعالى) has said: {Some of My slaves have entered the morning as My believers and some as unbelievers in Me. He who said: “We were given rain by the Blessing and Mercy of Allaah”, believes in Me and disbelieves in the stars; and he who said: “We have had a rainfall due to the rising of such and such star”, disbelieves in Me and affirms his faith in the stars.}❞
📚[Saheehain]
Attributing the cause of rain to the stars, movement of the planets (stars), the seasons, and believing that the stars bring the rain or hold it back. Rather, the One Who sends down the rain and holds it back is Allaah. Thus, one should say:
❝We were given rain by the blessing and mercy of Allaah.❞
🌴🌴🌴
🎓 Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله discusses rain in his book, saying:
❝And the rain descends from the cloud like spray. And each drop comes down as a separate one, one drop from it does not mix with the other. The drop which fell later was not going to fall earlier, and the drop which fell earlier was not going to fall later. The drop does not know the one next to it so that it may mix with it. Each drop takes the specific path that was drawn for it, and it does not deviate from that path, till each drop reaches the earth, drop after drop. Each drop has been assigned a certain portion of the earth, and it does not drop at any other place except that. If all of the creation would come together to create a single drop from it, or count the number of drops (that fall on earth) in a single moment, they would never be able to do so.❞

💠 The Prophetic Supplication For Relieving Pain

💠 Zainab Bint Jaḥsh رضي الله عنها performed al-Istikhaarah when she was informed that the Prophet ﷺ had sent a proposal to her.
“When the `Iddah of Zainab was over, the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said to Zaid: ❝Propose marriage to her on my behalf.❞ Zaid went and said: “O Zainab, rejoice, for the Messenger of Allaah has sent me to you to propose marriage on his behalf.” She said: “I will not do anything until I consult my Lord.” So she went to the place (inside her house) where she usually prayed and (the Aayah of) the Qur’aan (about her marriage) was revealed. Then the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ came and entered upon her without permission.” [1] [2]
“Perhaps she prayed al-Istikhaarah out of fear of falling short in her duties towards the Prophet ﷺ.” [3]
“Zainab used to boast before the other wives of the Prophet ﷺ and used to say: “You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allaah from over seven Heavens.” [4]

We used to humble ourselves in front of Allaah تعالى, so He used to honor us in the eyes of men. But now when we have become arrogant, so He تعالى is humiliating us.
Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Wealth does not decrease because of charity, and Allaah increases His slave in honor when he forgives others. And no one humbles himself before Allaah but Allaah will raise him (in status).” [Saheeh Muslim (2588)]
🌟How good is our relation with the Qur'aan? 🌟
📗 Hadeeth:
Narrated Ziyad bin Labid: Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم spoke of something and said:
❝It will happen when knowledge will be no more. ❞
I said: “Allaah’s Messenger, how will knowledge vanish despite the fact that we will be reciting the Qur’aan and teaching its recitation to our children and our children will teach its recitation to their children up to the Day of Resurrection?” Thereupon he said:
❝Ziyad, may your mother weep over you. I was of the opinion that you were one of those who have the greatest understanding of religion in Madeenah. Do these Jews and Christians not recite the Torah and the Bible but not act according to what is contained in them?❞

aat prayer, and it should be a Ṣalaah other than the five obligatory ones.
It is clear from Ḥadeeth that the person should perform a two-Rakaat voluntary prayer due to the statement of the Prophet ﷺ: “𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘵𝘸𝘰-𝘙𝘢𝘬
𝘢𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳”. Therefore, the Sunnah of al-Istikhaarah cannot be done by praying just one Rak`ah. [1]
📑 Reference
1️⃣ The words of the Prophet ﷺ referring to two Rakaat of al-Istikhaarah indicate that it cannot be fulfilled with a prayer of one Rak
ah, like Witr, nor with a prostration of recitation (Sajdah al-Tilaawah), nor with the funeral prayer (Salaah al-Janaazah). The same ruling applies to Taḥiyyatul Masjid, the Sunnah prayer after Ṭawaaf, or any other Sunnah prayer where the Prophet ﷺ instructed to offer two Rakaat. Example: A person enters the Masjid, prays only one Rak
ah Witr, and then sits down. In this case, the person has not fulfilled the obligation of Taḥiyyatul Masjid.

Duaa is a test of one’s Faith. If a person will not humble himself and supplicate to Allaah in times of need, then when will he?
Abdullaah bin Abu Saaleh al-Makkee narrated: Once Ṭaawoos Ibn Kaisaan [1] paid me a visit while I was sick, and I said to him: O Abu Abdul-Raḥmaan! Supplicate to Allaah for me. So, he (Ṭaawoos) responded:

A personal supplication that comes from the heart is more likely to be answered, because the supplicant is truly in need.
Performing al-Istikhaarah on behalf of another person is not permissible. Certain acts of worship are personal responsibilities and cannot be delegated. For example, one cannot take the Testimony of Faith (Shahaadah) on behalf of another person, nor can they perform the obligatory or optional prayers for someone else, or marry on someone else’s behalf.
The beautiful thing about Ṣalaah al-Istikhaarah is that it is a personal conversation between an individual and his Lord. The supplication is spoken in the first person (“O Allaah, I ask You...”). The person who is in a state of need and confusion should turn to Allaah in prayer. The feeling of desperation and sincere reliance on Allaah is the core of this prayer, and that feeling can only be truly experienced by the one making the decision.

“al-Sabr al-Jameel” (the good patience الصَّبْرُ الْجَمِيلُ) is that patience in which there is no complaining (towards the creation). Yaqoob عليه السلام said:
Umar Ibn al-Khattaab رضي الله عنه used to recite in the Fajr prayer:
﴿إنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إلَى اللَّهِ﴾
{I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allaah}

Even though he also said:
﴿فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ وَاللَّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى مَا تَصِفُونَ﴾
{So (for me) patience is most fitting. And it is Allah (Alone) Whose help can be sought against that which you assert}

Complaining to Allaah (about the harm that has befallen you) does not contradict or negate “the good patience”.

{I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allaah and I know from Allaah what you do not know}
📚[Surah Yusuf (12): 86]
He used to weep so profusely that his sobbing would be heard in the last rows.
(Complain to the Creator) instead of complaining to the creation!
(Complaining to the Creator is permissible) because the one who is complaining is doing so based on the situation he is in, either (beseeching Allaah) to remove the thing which is harming him, or seeking (from Allaah) that which is beneficial for him. A person has been commanded to beseech the Creator instead of the creation. Allaah تعالى said:
{So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allaah’s worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations.}
📚[Surah al-Sharh (94): 7-8]
And the Prophet ﷺ said to Ibn Abbaas رضي الله عنهما: ❝If you ask, then ask Allaah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allaah [alone].❞
al-Fataawa of Ibn Taymiyyah (10/666-667)]
📚[Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2516) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
And it is a must that a person should adhere to two things:
1) To do that which he has been commanded to do and to shun that which has been prohibited.
2) And to be patient when a thing which has Decreed befalls him.
The first is from Taqwaa (piety) and the second is patience (Sabr).

Forsaking the Dunya is Fadheelah (graciousness or doing more than what is obligatory), while abandoning the sins is Fareedhah (an obligation).
For you are in a greater need of fulfilling the obligations (as they have precedence over) fulfilling that which is optional.❞

Narrated `Alee ibn Abu Taalib:

Abdullaah Ibn `Umar رضي الله عنهما narrated: I heard Allaah’s Messenger ﷺ saying: “Three men from among those (previous nations) who were before you, set out together till they reached a cave at night and entered it. (In another narration: “They were overtaken by rain, and they had to find protection in a mountain cave”). A boulder rolled down the mountain and closed the mouth of the cave. They said (to each other): “Nothing could save you from this rock unless you supplicate to Allaah by virtue of a righteous deed you have done (for Allaah’s sake only).” (In another narration: “Look at your good deeds that you did for Allaah's sake and supplicate to Allaah by virtue of that deed so that He might rescue you (from this trouble).”

So, one of them said: “O Allaah! I had elderly parents, and I used to offer them milk before my family (wife, children, etc.). One day, by chance, I was delayed, and I came late (at night) while they had slept. I milked the sheep for them and took the milk to them, but I found them sleeping. I hated disturbing them, and I disliked providing milk to my family before them. My children were crying out of hunger at my feet, but I waited with the bowl in my hand for them to wake up. I kept on waiting for them to get up till the day dawned. Then they got up and drank the milk. O Allaah! If I did that for Your Sake only, please relieve us from our critical situation caused by this rock.” So, the rock shifted a little, but they could not get out.”
The Prophet ﷺ added: “The second man said: “O Allaah! I had a cousin who was the dearest of all people to me, and I wanted to have sexual relations with her, but she refused. Later, she faced a difficult situation during a famine year, and she came to me, and I gave her one hundred twenty Dinars on the condition that she would not resist my desire, and she agreed. When I was about to fulfill my desire, she said: ‘It is illegal for you to outrage my chastity except by legitimate marriage.’ So, I thought it was a sin to have sexual intercourse with her and left her, though she was the dearest of all the people to me, and I also left the gold I had given her. O Allaah! If I did that for Your Sake only, please relieve us from the present calamity.” So, the rock shifted a little more, but still, they could not get out of there.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) added: “Then the third man said: “O Allaah! I employed a few laborers and paid them their wages, except for one man who did not take his wages and left. I invested his wages and acquired a substantial amount of property as a result. (Then after some time), he came and said to me: ‘O Allaah’s slave! Pay me my wages.’ I said to him: ‘All the camels, cows, sheep, and slaves you see are yours.’ He said: ‘O Allaah’s slave! Don’t mock me.’ I said: ‘I am not mocking you.’ So, he took all the herds and drove them away, leaving nothing behind. O Allaah! If I did that for Your Sake only, please relieve us from the present suffering.” So, that rock shifted completely, and they got out walking.” [4]

💠 The Difference Between Makki & Madani Surahs
https://ilm4all.blogspot.com/2011/01/difference-between-makki-madani-surahs.html
Regarding someone performing al-Istikhaarah on behalf of others, I am not aware of any valid basis for this practice. Everyone, regardless of being a man or a woman, should perform al-Istikhaarah for themselves. The individual should recite the supplication that he knows or understands. Suppose he does not know the supplication mentioned in the Ḥadeeth. In that case, he should ask his Lord, saying: “O Allaah, make it easy for me to do what is best”, “O Allaah, expand my heart so I can accept what is best and most beloved to You, which benefits me and is in my best interest.” He should pray with an appropriate supplication (suited to the situation). All praise belongs to Allaah.” [5]
𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙀: Some individuals have turned al-Istikhaarah into a business and a way to make money. They charge people and claim they will perform al-Istikhaarah on their behalf. These individuals are deceiving others and exploiting those who are unaware and ignorant.
