Therefore do not give your daughters to their sons, neither take their daughters for your sons, and never seek their peace or prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land and leave it for an inheritance to your children forever.’

Читать полностью…On the Ultimate Concept I:No matter how far down the road you go the beginning of each and every act, be it that of man or any other organism, is that of desire for Conquest.
Painting by Francesco Hayez
Love is the singular most constructive form of Conquest, that of investment and insurance. An individual is conquered through sheer adoration, a man's heart is conquered through emotional investment. Where we see lack of sincerity we are soon disgusted and mark the type of love to be false. Flattery isn't ugly to us because motives are ulterior, it is ugly to use because it subverts the very essence of Love into dirty conquest. A lie is essentially told and no true investment exists.
The fruits of flattery are fickle and fleeting, the fruits of Love span centuries and generations.

"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion, to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly, to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart, to bear all cheerfully, to all bravely await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony."
~William Henry Channing
