Best ingress phone?
My current phone runs our of battery too fast and gets too warm. Sometimes it has shutdown due to heat. Just wondering if there was a good cell phone choice for Ingress that had good battery life and stays cool. Oh yes, I live in arizona.

Massive XM consumption to maintain portals
What’s the deal? I’ve burned through so many cubes trying to recharge my portals. I can’t keep up. Passive XM gain on my entire 4km route doesn’t even provide enough to charge a single portal.
There aren’t a lot of portals where I live. Each of the parks have a small concentration of about 3-7 and there’s 4 parks within walking distance. I know XM clusters around portals. Is passive XM gain supposed to provide enough to keep your portals charged?
The only other possibility I can think of is that I’m not supposed to be using level 5-6 resonators since they cost so much more to maintain.
What’s the deal with recharging?

Machina question
Just wondering, if I wanted to change factions, can I change to Machina?
Okay, that was a joke, but I do have a real question about Machina. In order to get my Reclaimer badge (or upgrade the level) I have to take out and claim a certain number of Machina portals. So I figured that if there's a bunch of them in an area convenient to me and I want to get Reclaimer points, it's better to leave one or two of them instead of clearing them all. That way they'll repropagate and I can come back in a few days to reclaim them again. That's exactly what I did a little bit ago, leaving one portal behind as I reclaimed several others. But when I was done, I noticed the remaining portal was missing a resonator, probably taken out by one of the XMP bursters I fired at other nearby Machina portals. So my question is, can a Machina portal that's missing one or more resonators redeploy to itself and/or propagate to other nearby portals despite not having a full set?

GORUCK and Niantic support being useless
Recently participated in OCF and Urban OPS in Brisbane during the echo XMA. I successfully completed both but only got the badge for urban ops, but not OCF.
Others in my team for OCF received their badge as expected.
I contacted Goruck support the day badge was pushed and they responded they will have someone on their ingress inquiries team contacting me but now it’s been 3-4 days since they said that. Tried contacting Ingress support and they told me to contact Goruck for this.
Anyone know what else I can do here?

Reactivated my acct last week after literal years... I have a 'Founder' badge listed, but dimmed as I wasn't lvl 8 back at the cutoff ... it taunts me.
Just wondering if there's any way at all to fully activate or 'redeem' this badge after the fact as I was playing from almost day 1 (fun times going onto google plus and IRC, following that old web puzzle site to find invite codes!). I just hadn't quite reached lvl 8 back then. I'm about to now, just a day or so more of hacking/capturing and I think I'll crack it :)
Also sad that even though I was able to log into my very old account, a lot of the OG portals I photographed and submitted back in the old days now say they were discovered by 'Anonymous' ... ah well. (I guess 'Ingress Prime' reset a lot of stuff from the original 'Ingress' app?)

Ways to track individual stats...
There is agent-stats.com which gives a nice break down of badges and progress from your last update. Available to both sides but has limitations on what it shows. Has app to help with submitting updates.
There is the-grid.org which is RES only but is awesome. Has app and telegram bot to remind you to upload, breaks down agents by region, and tons tons tons more options.
MAIN QUESTION: What is there for ENL?
Last option is exporting stats and manually keeping them on a spreadsheet. Having the raw data gives a lot of options but I'd have to build out a lot of the formulas. Any templates out there?

I need a way, if possible, to attend a virtual First Saturday for the next months
I have a question. Are there still communities (or countries) that will still hold virtual FSs?
Where I'm from, we're shifting from a virtual FS to a face-to-face event this coming July. The problem is, it's too far away and I can no longer travel too far because of the nature of my work.
So, where can I join other groups (like in Telegram) that would welcome me and (others where I'm from) if we were to join a virtual First Saturday?

As stated. F-ing lag all the time! I’ve should have gotten multiple onyx medals if it wasn’t for their faulty lag.
And now the new thing is Overclock which could be fun and a great addition to the game. But when the game doesn’t even run smoothly then why introduce new features?!
I run the newest phone which the country best connection and coverage. And still we get all this lag. No other players around. F-ing unbelievable.
Without a doubt because they allocate the resources for Pokémon, their cash cow.
