"People sometimes ask me about Craig Wright, after hearing about him in the news. No one seems to understand what he was trying to do though, or how.
Now that he's lost the case at the High Court, the game is over, but what was the game? This is my opinion:
Step 1. Fork Bitcoin. Call the fork Satoshi's Vision, the real Bitcoin. If you fork Bitcoin you fork Satoshi's stash.
Step 2. Change the rules. Craig introduced a tool into BSV that would allow for confiscation of lost coins, assuming legal proof of ownership was provided. Make this change under the guise of compliance.
Step 3. Become Satoshi. If you didn't understand why he needed to drag this through the courts, you do now. He needed to be Satoshi in the eyes of the law to confiscate Satoshi's stash.
Step 4. Confiscate Satoshi's stash! He never made it this far, but that's a hell of a lot of coins!
Step 5. Pump his bags. Claim victory: "BSV is the real Bitcoin"! Let the money flow from BTC to BSV, eventually making him one of the richest people on earth.
Unfortunately for Craig, Step 3 was a major sticking point. The British High Court just isn't that dumb!
Obviously it was a long and complicated process and I have massively oversimplified it for brevity, but this is my 'in a nutshell' view."

The ETF GBTC had a single-day net outflow of $386 million, with GBTC's total historical net outflow reaching $13.27 billion. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest single-day net inflow was the BlackRock ETF IBIT, with a single-day net inflow of $49.28 million, bringing IBIT's total historical net inflow to $13.09 billion.
