Bitcoin's market cap is closing in on 10% of gold's, currently standing at 8.4%.
#Bitcoin is valued at $1.4 trillion while gold is valued at $16 trillion.
Unlike #gold, Bitcoin has a fixed supply, with 94% of its 21 million coins already mined (19.7 million circulating).
On the other hand, gold's supply continues to grow and is projected to reach 250,000 tonnes by 2030.
