The outcome of the U.S. election early next month will determine the dollar's near-term outlook, BNP Paribas Markets 360 says in a note. Opinion polls currently suggest the election outcome remains veryuncertain. A 'red wave'--where Republican candidate Donald Trump becomes president and Republicans control Congress--would be the most positive result for the dollar. The dollar would weaken broadly if Democrat candidate Kamala Harris becomes president and Congress is divided, BNP Paribas says.

#ETH / #BTC has been red 9 of the last 10 quarters.
When I first told people this would happen 3 years ago, many thought it was absurd because of the transition to Proof of Stake, deflationary aspect, etc. They dismissed monetary policy altogether.
Now monetary policy is loosening up, but slowly. We will likely see #ETH / #BTC bottom in Q4 2024 (this quarter) and go up in 2025.
Crazy to see some of the people that used to laugh at my views on #ETH / #BTC now capitulate their #ETH to #BTC after it has been dropping for 9/10 quarters. It could go down more, but probably not that much more.
Just shows you how the market will trick a lot of people. They mock the view, then they finally believe it and get on board, but only as the view is in its final innings and about to change.

More importantly, the gold equities-to-S&P 500 ratio is breaking out from a key support level that has been in place since 2011.
