The primary count is still a macro wave 5, of which we have completed 4 of 5 lesser-degree waves.
The terminal wave is likely in my opinion to be extended, first due to the fact that wave 3 fell slightly short of a 1.618 extension of wave 1.
Second, the consolidation around the 2021 highs has been long and shallow, resembling either a half-staff flag, cup and handle, or inverted head and shoulders, and all of those patterns expect an second move of similar magnitude.
Also marked here are standard and extended targets for the completion of wave 5. There are a few ways to measure this target, and you can apply them to both the macro and lesser-degree waves, so I look for clusters and then box them out.
I will be a little surprised to see BTC top out in the orange box, however it's important to be open to the possiblity of a more subdued 5th wave as well.

China’s NBS manufacturing PMI for Oct came in at 50.1, above the Street’s 49.9 forecast, up from 49.8 in Sept, and higher than the 50 expansion/contraction demarcation point for the first time in 6 months as the government’s stimulus measures show signs of bolstering activity. China’s NBS non-manufacturing PMI for Oct came in at 50.2, up from 50 in Sept but a tiny bit below the consensus forecast of 50.3 RTRS

The yen climbed after BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda said currency movements are having a major impact on the economy and price trends. Policymakers kept rates unchanged, as expected, and signaled the central bank’s on track for further rate hikes. BBG
France’s CPI for Oct came in at +1.5%, up 10bp from Sept and inline w/the Street (the +1.5% remains far below the ECB’s 2% target). BBG
