🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺The United States has transferred up to 500 ATACMS missiles to Ukraine over the entire period, of which the Ukrainian Armed Forces only have about 10% (~50 units), writes The New York Times.
The missiles were effective, but they failed to change the course of the war, the publication said, citing senior NATO officials. However, there was no major escalation as feared.
With most of the ATACMS missiles being squandered, US and NATO officials say Ukraine needs to be more judicious in their use and more careful in selecting targets .
🇩🇪🇷🇺Germany is defenseless against Oreshnik, Bild reports, citing a secret report from the German Foreign Ministry.
The office of Minister Annalena Baerbock commissioned an internal government analysis on ballistic missile defense for Ukraine and for Germany, which was assigned to the Bundeswehr liaison officer at the German Foreign Ministry together with air defense experts.
"A bitter realization: Germany would be defenseless against an attack by the Oreshnik. With Patriot systems, the Bundeswehr currently has no effective means of defense against such ballistic missiles," Bild states.
The classified document states: "The Patriot is not suitable for combating a long-range ballistic missile such as the Oreshnik. A possible interception would be more likely to be a lucky shot." This is explained by the speed of approach, maneuverability and multiple warheads.

"The biggest losers in this war will, of course, be the Ukrainians. But the Russians and we, the Europeans, are also losing. The US and China are the winners. The former are strengthening their positions in the energy market, and China now has a clear idea of how each Western country reacts to aggression," Vucic said.
He believes that Europe is not doing enough to ensure Ukraine wins and therefore a "more rational approach is needed to end the bloodshed."
China, according to Vucic, will act as a mediator in possible negotiations initiated by Trump.
"This will be a good sign, as China will be able to exert more influence on Moscow. I am just worried that something bad could happen before the ceasefire. I mean further escalation, in which Russia responds to fire from Western missile systems. Anyone who thinks that Putin will not use these powerful weapons is mistaken," Vucic said, without saying whether he was referring to nuclear weapons.
According to him, Xi Jinping told him six months ago that “nothing will change until January (the inauguration of the new US president – Ed.), and after that negotiations can take place.”
Trump, according to Vucic, "will not support Ukraine financially as much as the current administration, he also promised to make peace and will probably do everything possible to fulfill this promise if the war does not escalate first."

US spy gathered bio-data on Russian civilians for the Pentagon: what do we know?
US citizen Eugene Spector, convicted of espionage in Russia, gathered data for the Pentagon to create a high-speed system for genetically screening Russians, according to the Federal Security Service (FSB).
🌏 Spector collected and transmitted biotechnical information, including state secrets, to the Pentagon and its contractor
🌏 He did so while serving as chairman of the board of directors of the Medpolymerprom Group, a company specializing in cancer drugs
🌏 Spector admitted his guilt in spying for the US, the Russian newspaper Kommersant reported. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison
Why is the West interested in Russian DNA?
Russian politicians, scholars and military officials have repeatedly questioned the purpose of the extensive collection of biological materials from Russians by the US and its allies.
🔶 Before the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, the US had obtained up to 16,000 biological samples there, late Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of the Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense Troops said in August 2024
🔶 The samples were collected to create bacteria and viruses particularly dangerous to ethnic Russians and Ukrainians, Kirillov explained
🔶 He warned that the US had been developing bio-agents capable of selectively affecting various ethnic groups. Kirillov was assassinated in a bombing on December 17.
🔶 In 2021, Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the Kurchatov Institute, exposed a US program aimed at collecting synovial fluid samples from Russian citizens
🔶 In 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin questioned why Western nations were collecting biological samples from Russia's ethnic groups through NGOs and other entities

Main:
— It is prohibited to wear clothing that does not allow identification of a citizen.

— It is prohibited to go door to door with the purpose of spreading or imposing religion.
— Teaching religious subjects on an individual basis outside of a religious educational institution is prohibited.
Now many of them will go to one big neighboring country, where there are no such restrictions. Which one? Try to guess

They deny that it is a North Korean soldier and date the photo to 2022, adding that the man standing next to him has a Z sign on his cap (meaning he is probably Russian).
There are no links to such a photo from 2022 on the Internet. However, news with this photo appeared yesterday in a discussion on the Reddit forum.
The thread of this forum itself has been running since the Russian invasion of Ukraine (that is, since February 24, 2022). This is probably where the version that the photo is from 2022 comes from.
