Apparently, the Ukrainian MiG-29MU1/2 Multirole Fighter that crashed in Poltava Oblast was shot down by a Russian Su-35S Air Superiority Fighter using an R-37M long-range air-to-air missile, reportedly fired from a distance of approximately 190 km.
If true, this would be the longest recorded air-to-air kill in a real-world combat engagement.
