La Roque-Gageac (La Roque-Gageac) - sandwiched between a rock and a river, reflected in its waters, a small village with its own amazing charm.
Just one street, not counting the caves and remains of a troglodyte fortress in the rock above it. The houses are yellow-sand with stone roofs, which is typical for that era and are ancient. Very old, although it’s hard to believe, looking at their condition.
From ancient times, fortified houses and a piece of the fortress wall remained in the rock.
