Wanderers come to Iseltwald, fascinated by the village way of life and stay here for a few days. France 🇫🇷, Palace of Versailles
The Palace of Versailles is one of the French royal residences, which was built in the suburbs of Paris, the city of Versailles, in the XVII century. Today it is one of the most popular attractions not only in France, but also in the world.
The complex of the Palace of Versailles, which includes several more "small palaces" and a park, is the largest in Europe. Despite the splendor and size, the overall appearance of the Palace of Versailles is integral, it does not create a feeling of piling up elements and excess, which allowed it to become a model for other royal residences of the Renaissance. But Versailles itself became a symbol of excessive and irrational spending of public money during the peak of the absolute monarchy. This is why the palace is interesting, since it is unlikely that residences capable of eclipsing Versailles will appear anywhere in the near historical period.

Most of the halls of the Nesvizh Castle have capacious names that reflect the purpose of a particular room at the time when its founders lived here.
Turkey 🇹🇷, Amasra

A small, extremely beautiful and ancient city is located on the northern rocky coast of Turkey. If you look at the map, you can see Amasra opposite the coast of Crimea. Part of the city is located on the mainland, and the other half is on the island of Boztepe. They are connected by a stone arch bridge built by the ancient Romans. From the shore you can see another island called Rabbit Island.
Russia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Dukkin Lakes
Dukka Lakes are one of the most visited in the vicinity of Arkhyz. Located at an altitude of 2,450 m.n.m., they are opened from the ice earlier than others, for example, Sofia, Zagedan, or lakes near the passes of the Abishira—Akhuba ridge, and later covered with snow, so you can walk here from the beginning of June to mid-October.
There is no "better" time to visit the lakes: in early summer, ice floes still float on the black surface of the lakes (and this is a passion, how beautiful), then meadows and rhododendrons begin to bloom along the shores, and at the end of September, the gorges acquire a bright, saturated yellow-orange color.
All lakes are filled with clear water with a pleasant, blue tint. Sometimes the color of the water surface becomes saturated blue, or even completely black. Standing by the shore, you can see the bottom down to each small pebble.
Norway
🇳🇴, Senya Island
Norwegians, if they want to admire the breathtaking landscapes and look at the ocean from the tops of the rocks, choose a trip to the island of Senya. The landscapes here are in no way inferior to Lofoten, and in many ways even surpass: the mountains are higher and sharper, and the photos will go beyond the banal angles.
Plus, the Senya is in the variety of local landscapes: if the western part of the island is rocky, with crazy peaks and walls of rocks resting on the open ocean, then the eastern part is more gentle, with hills, lakes, deer and a national park.
The hundred–kilometer Norwegian Scenic Route Senja runs through the entire western part of Senja - it is on it that all the main photo spots and wow spots are concentrated.
Only 7000 people live on the Senya permanently, and there are very few tourists here even in the highest season – therefore, the island will become a real paradise for introverts.
Australia 🇦🇺, Roebuck Bay

Saint Martin 🇧🇶 🇫🇷, Maho Beach
Maho Beach is notable for the fact that a giant passenger liner such as a Boeing 767 or Airbus A320 can fly over your head at a height of only a couple of tens of meters. And the plane can fly over the beach at any time of the day or night. As you know, planes flying over the beach are not an attraction for tourists at all. Flying over a small beach, the plane lands literally behind its fence.
The beach and the beginning of the landing strip are separated by a highway and a fence made of mesh. The airport, located just behind the beach, has a fairly limited strip with a length of only 2,300 meters and ends with Simpson Lagoon. This is a fairly short stretch for large aircraft.
It turns out such a narrow tie, surrounded by water, on which the plane should get. He has to descend as much as possible to land at the very beginning of the lane. Therefore, planes fly over the beach, almost clinging to the heads of tourists with their landing gear.
Austria🇦🇹, Eisriesenwelt cave
The name of the amazing Eisriesenwelt cave, located at an altitude of 1641 meters in the Austrian Alps, inside the Hochkogel mountain, means "the world of ice giants" in German.
This ice cave is the largest in the world: its length is 42 kilometers, its depth is 407 meters, and the volume of ice growths on its walls and arches exceeds 30 thousand cubic meters.
Numerous passages and labyrinths in the Hohkogel Mountain were formed under the influence of the Salzach River, which eroded limestone rocks for several millennia. And the ice walls of the cave are the result of melting snow in the Alps: the melted snow masses descended from the mountains and accumulated in the cave, gradually turning into ice.
The path to the entrance to the cave is no less interesting for tourists. At the entrance to the cave there is a magnificent view of the Alps.

Here, a fascinating sight appears before the eyes of a tourist, as the waters of the turquoise Katun connect with the turbid milky waters of Chuya. In order to see this, a special observation deck is organized 500 m from the highway on a hill, to which a road is laid directly from the highway.
Also, the Chuya River is notable for meanders. Meanders, or bends, are the places where the river winds. It may seem strange, but the reasons for the formation of bends have not yet been fully clarified.

The height of the valley floor ranges from 1500 to 1800 meters, the area of the territory is about 600 square kilometers. In the process of weathering and soil erosion, the soft upper layer of sedimentary rocks was destroyed, as a result, only sandstone remnants of rocks remained on the surface. For more than a century, this ideal semicircular structure, created from basalt columns, amazes people with its geometry, giving rise to incredible legends shrouded in mysticism and superstition, and not only ancient ones.
It is the main attraction of the small Saxon town of Gablenz, in Germany. Back in 1844, Friedman Herman Retschke decided to set up an amazing English-style park on the shore of Lake Rakoff with beautiful bridges, alleys, mysterious grottoes, pyramids and artificial rocks. To implement such unusual plans, basalt slabs had to be imported from Switzerland and Bohemia, because there was no such rock in these places. And when there was a need to build a ferry across the lake located in the Kromlau Park, it was this stone that became the main building material.
