Hungary🇭🇺, Budapest, Fisherman's Bastion
The Fisherman's Bastion is one of the most popular and recognizable sights of Budapest. It is located on a hilltop in Buda and is visible from almost anywhere in the city.
This is a favorite place of tourists for several reasons at once: firstly, a stunningly picturesque view opens from the bastion. The main bridges of the capital of Hungary, spanning the Danube River, appear before you in the palm of your hand, immediately behind them the Basilica of St. Stephen, as if descended from souvenir postcards, and the rest of the historic district of Pest, and a little to the left stretches Orsaghaz — the Hungarian Parliament building.
Secondly, the place itself seems unusual and fabulous: towers, terraces, balustrades resemble the scenery for a historical film. Walking along the walls of the bastion, it seems that even time stopped here several hundred years ago.
Russia 🇷🇺, Cape Evstafia
Cape Evstafia is one of the most beautiful places on Sakhalin. The arrival of numerous tourists to the place is certainly accompanied by delight and admiration. Fogs, thick clouds or bright sun — all this can flash there in a few hours. The road to the cape is not easy, it is necessary to overcome about 150 km, of which 23 km along a very impassable segment, but it is worth seeing the cape with your own eyes.
The cape is known for its unusual shape: almost the entire island of the rock goes into the sea, and only a narrow isthmus seems to hold it on a leash near the shore.
After spending the day and evening on the seashore and observing the beauty of nature, travelers are filled with energy, feel spiritual harmony and fullness of life.
Cape Evstafia is only 51 meters high, but it offers stunning views and panoramas, where you can experience an extraordinary feeling of flight.
Italy 🇮🇹, Rome, Pantheon Temple
The Pantheon Temple is one of the main attractions of Rome. The structure was erected by the son-in-law of the emperor Augustus, Agrippa, in 27 BC. At the beginning, the temple had a square shape, after that it was repeatedly restored, as a result, it became round during the reign of Hadrian, in 118-125.
Until the 7th century, the temple was dedicated to seven gods: Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and Mercury. In the 600s, it was almost destroyed, but the Pantheon was saved by the fact that it became Christian.
The temple is considered a unique structure: its dome and walls merge into a single whole. The walls are 6 meters thick each, they are held thanks to a massive foundation. Today it is unknown what kind of material the dome of the Pantheon is made of. In its center is the so-called "Eye of the Pantheon", which is a round-shaped hole measuring 9 meters.

The architectural structure is quite "young" — it was built on the roof of the port warehouse, which is currently part of the coastal quarter of HafenCity, and was commissioned in 2014.
The Elbe Philharmonic serves as a concert venue for performances of modern musical groups. Concerts here are very large—scale - modern equipment allows you to accommodate large orchestras on stage and broadcast performances with excellent sound.
Russia 🇷🇺, Moscow, Petrovsky Travel Palace
Petrovsky Travel Palace in Moscow — a monument of Russian Neo—Gothic architecture - was built in the 1776-1780-ies by decree of Catherine II. The building served as a temporary residence for the nobility traveling from St. Petersburg to Moscow. In addition to its practical function, the palace had a symbolic character — its construction was timed to coincide with the victory in the Russian-Turkish war.
From the moment of its foundation to the present day, the Petrovsky Palace has undergone many changes, but today it is reopened to guests: on the second floor of the main building there is a luxury boutique hotel, on the ground floor there is a museum. The architectural ensemble of the XVIII century oversees the Reception House of the Moscow City Hall and high-level guests often stay in the palace.

Australia🇦🇺, Christmas Island, crab migration
Christmas Island is a relatively small (135 sq. km) island of volcanic origin in the Indian Ocean, belonging to Australia.
The main attraction of the island is the annual migration of 100 million red crabs (Gecarcoidea natalis), during the mating season, which takes place around mid-October to January, setting off on a multi-day journey from the rain forests to the shores of the ocean, while covering everything that comes in the way with an orange-red carpet: roads, playgrounds, courtyards, buildings.
It is difficult to accurately predict the date of migration, it all depends on when the wet season begins. In order to reach the shore, the crabs need about 18 days. One of the most impressive natural migrations is taking place – the synchronous movement of tens of millions of crabs for several kilometers.
The ground red crab is a species of crustacean that lives only on Christmas Island.

A large-scale reconstruction of the Pena Palace in Sintra took place in 1994, when the structure was painted in bright colors that were not used 150 years ago: the monastery was painted in pink, the New palace was painted in yellow or ochre.

Uluru can be considered a geographical miracle only because of its size. The monolith of red sandstone protrudes above the plain by an average of 348 m, and its highest point is at 869 m above sea level.
Uluru Rock is formed by almost vertical layers of extremely durable sandstone, the surface of which has turned red as a result of oxidation. From the north-western and north-eastern sides, erosion has cut deep channels in the rock, from where water gushes during rains - this is how spectacular, but short-lived waterfalls are obtained.
Most tourists try to climb to the top, although the locals would prefer that this not be done. Every year someone is sure to die, and others have to be saved. From the plateau at the top of the cliff there are wonderful views, it is interesting to explore the top, but the ascent is very difficult.

Armenia 🇦🇲, natural monument "Symphony of Stones"
Not far from Yerevan there is a unique natural monument "Symphony of Stones". This attraction is located on one of the most popular tourist routes, but because of the bad road, guides often avoid it.

The main version of the origin of the "Symphony of Stones" is volcanic activity. Scientists agree that the unusual shape of basalt pillars was formed during natural processes and subsequent rock collapses.
Mexico🇲🇽 , Rio Lagartos
The Rio Lagartos Nature Reserve on the Yucatan Peninsula is one of the most striking natural attractions of the Caribbean coast of Mexico.
Here are the pink lakes of Las Coloradas. The water in them is really pink. Lakes are artificial reservoirs used for salt extraction. The color of the water is determined by the high concentration of salt and microorganisms living in this water.
You can't swim in lakes and even wet your feet, because the extracted salt is used for food purposes. And the lakes themselves are surrounded by a moat in many places, so it is not always possible to get close to the water. In the same place where you can approach the water, you will have to pay 50 MXN per person for entering the territory of the salt-producing plant.
The lakes got their name thanks to the pink-tinged water. The snow-white shore bordering the reservoirs and the blue azure of the sky complete the stunning picture.

Schwerin Castle, built in 1845-1857 by order of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II — the great-grandson of the Russian Emperor Paul I by architect Georg Adolf Demmler, is a real architectural treasure of the land of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
